Terri Horman Support Group. Why Do I Even Read It?

I got a nasty comment directed at me today by someone who actually..............(cough...ahem...cough...wheeze.....catch breath) SUPPORTS Terri Moulton Horman, soon-to-be former step parent of missing Kyron Horman, who disappeared while Terri Horman was supposed to be taking him to school on June 4, 2010. As if two years missing was not long enough! Here's the comment; my own comment was deleted, so I went ahead and remade my point below the deluded THSG commenter's insane rantings. THSG = Terri Horman Support Group. They should really rename it, because she claims to wish to be Terri Moulton, once again; she just resists any legal action that would accomplish this.

A Mother's Love - THSG

"Terri hasn't given up on Kitty and in fact the person who is standing in the way and NOT allowing her contact based on false allegations, is Kaine. Peter Bunch and Stephen Houze have declared that it is Terri's first and foremost thought to... be reunited with her daughter and be her parent.

It seems to me those who accuse Terri of abandoning Kitty should ask the bio mom why she abandoned her 2 sons and gave up custody even after YEARS of being healthy enough to marry, go on vacations to Mexico, work full time. Oh that's right, we aren't allowed to speak about the truth of others, only smear the one mother who LOVES Kyron and her other two children; Terri."

This is nonsense. First of all, any parent going through a nasty divorce will encounter challenges from the other parent. It is the nature of divorce. The only person on the planet who might expect Terri's experience to be any different is probably Terri's mother, Carol Moulton. It would not surprise this blogger if the above quote was typed by Carol Moulton. Where's the eye-rolley when I need it?

Second, the laws concerning child custody in the entire United States support Terri Horman at least having visitation with her daughter, Kiara. All Ms. Horman has to do is move the court and ask for a visitation rotation or a parenting plan. Her estranged husband, Kaine Horman, has no power to stop her from going to court and asking for vistation. The judicial system serves all Americans, and has served Terri Horman rather well, all things considered.

As for "accusing Terri of abandoning Kitty", (Kiara) I wonder when the last time was that this Facebook user sat in court waiting for her mom to testify, or sat at home, waiting for her mom to pick her up or visit her? I wonder if this Facebook user has ever had to explain a no-show parent's actions to a child who wanted so badly to see the other parent......? Not a fun experience. Also, if Terri Horman is not paying child support or making efforts to maintain contact with her child, she has, by the legal standards of most of the country, abandoned her child. So; Carol Moulton, before you question those of us who would like to see Kyron Horman returned to his family, why not ask the only mother who really doesn't care about any of the kids involved, Terri, where Kyron is?

Terri, where is Kyron?

  1. Okay, Idiot, I will break down the process of maintaining parental contact and describe the actions of a responsible noncustodial parent for you. I realize that a lot of parents out there do not understand the whole thing, so hopefully, it will not be too hard for you. First of all, restraining orders are temporary. If Terri had not done something, and I do mean SOMETHING, she and Kaine would have been expected to work out their differences by now. The average domestic violence victim has problems convincing magistrate court to give her a restraining order that will ast 30 days. Next, there is court. Family Law Court, in this case. That's where Terri would go, if she wanted to see her daughter, and demand shared custody. How do I know this? I had a restraining order against someone once, and when he wanted to see our children, he went to court and got visitation. Of course, he did not wait two years......he loved our children more than Terri loves Kiara. The fact that he had nearly killed me did not matter to the judge. She did make him pay for the emergency room bills, though. But Terri should not have that problem. Of course, my ex found, and so would Terri, that a lot of family law court judges like to see regular child support being paid, whether a parent is currently seeing the child or not. Does Terri pay child support? Does she even work? With no children or other responsibilities, not supporting Kiara financially would definately be seen as abandonment anywhere in this country that Kaine wished to bring her up.

Parents separate every day. Simply being a noncustodial parent who has been served with a with a restraining order does not end parental responsibility. Terri has CHOSEN not to stand on her rights in court and demand to care for her daughter. That, Idiot, (I capitalized the "i", just in case that's your proper name) is legally considered abandonment. In fact, today, June 27, it has been two years, the limit in most states. I hope Kiara can find a "mother figure" to look up to and encourage her, because Terri does not appear to care.

Why don't you name yourself, instead of posting anonymously, Idiot?

  2. Sandi Lessman, Where is Kyron?June 27, 2012 at 10:54 PM

The 'Idiot' is none other than the person on the Terri Horman Support Group page that directed the nasty comment towards you today. The person is NOT Carol Moulton though. The author of the 'insane rantings' is SANDI LESSMAN. She is the sociopathic twin to Terri Horman. No matter how you respond to her, she is incapable of a logical discussion. By the way, I really enjoyed reading your post!

    1. I believe you; my tracker told me that the signal came from Tualatin. Thankyou for the compliment, but I still will be much happier on the day that I can post that Kyron has been found, safe. That will make me happy.

    2. Oh, you're a friend of Ruthie's. It all makes sense now.

    3. Yep. And it's makin' more sense every day!

I didn't know anything about Ruthie until Kyron disappeared. Then I saw her blog, and liked what I saw. Her writing skills would be a great asset to anyone who wanted to keep the faces of missing children visible.

  3. Sandi Lessman, Where is Kyron?June 27, 2012 at 11:32 PM

This is the first time I have seen your blog....great job! What I would give for Kyron to come home to his mama, Desiree and father safe! Although Sandi lives in Lowell, she could have been posting from her cell phone or another mobile device for all we know. That is her MO, deflection and diversion. She has connections in the Portland area anyway. There is a "Tualatin Joe" who posts on OregonLive, but that is just another one of her many profiles. I do know for an absolute fact though that Sandi Lessman is the sociopath running the AML - THSG Facebook page. I look forward to reading more of your blog. Thanks!

    1. Tualiatin is simply the closest spot identifiable on a map to describe the area where her signal comes from.....after seeing it, it seemed that it might be too far away from Roseburg to be anyone who lives with Terri. If she thinks I'm an idiot for my recognition of Terri's outward actions and their possible legal ramifications.....oh well. Look what's actually happening: Terri is being regarded by the judicial system as someone who has abandoned her daughter. No judge continues to re-up a restraining order for two years without a very good reason. The Terribots can just ask a womens' shelter...getting even a week's worth of protection is extreemly difficult sometimes! Two years is almost unheard of!

    2. My guess is that - if he hasn't already - Kaine will soon file to terminate her parental rights. She hasn't seen (or even tried to see) her daughter, it's unlikely she's paid a dime of child support, and she's posted bizarre BabyK-related pictures and rantings online. Even if you don't factor in the MFH and Kyron's disappearance this woman has no business being around children.

  4. Great blog! The only people who believe Terri's BS excuses for why she hasn't even tried to see her daughter are her parents, the last 2-3 supporters on AML who haven't run for the hills, and probably poor, sweet James who drew the unlucky card in the mommy deck.

I, too, look forward to the day when Kyron comes home and the responsible parties are brought to justice.

    1. Does Oregon have grandparents' rights? If so, I am forced to speculate concerning why Terri's parents have not invoked them. The offhand possibility I think of first, of course, is that covering for Terri and initiating a relationship with Kiara put them into a conflict. Usually, when a parent is deemed unfit and a grandparent steps up to the plate, that isn't the case, so it looks to me like there may be something going on that also encompasses them. That is just my opinion, though.

    2. The Moultons made their priorities clear 2 years ago, and those priorities apparently do not involve Kyron or BabyK. Evidently it's not bugging Terri much, either, that her parents have not seen their granddaughter. I've never once seen her list this as one of her many "gripes" on AML.

    3. Come to think of it, I have never seen this as a complaint of Terri or her parents anywhere. Even Steve Houze does not seem to think it is a problem.

    1. Her next move? She could certainly save money on attorney fees and save herself the trouble of having to pick out a new outfit for court if she would just answer Desiree's questions now.

  6. Quite true. I also can't make them care about the same things I care about.

  7. I was just wondering the same thing about the Moultons, if grandparent's rights exist for visitation with their grand- daughter. You'd think that by now they'd have realized that this possible murderer daughter they raised is a bad seed and cut their losses, do the right thing and kick Terri's butt to the curb. Instead of enjoying their retirement in peace with maybe an occasional trip or cruise to the Caribbean, they're in a Terri-made hell. What a terrible ending for a productive life.

    1. I understand what you are saying, but have their lives really been productive? They adopted and hosted a person who grew up to be a problem almost everywhere she went. This may sound harsh, but I would rather not see anyone teach a child that the world revolves around him or her; especially to the extent that the child growns up to actually believe that a child does not matter. The elements that culminated in Terri's situation have probably been present in the Moultons' lives for a long time.....possibly even before Terri became a part of their lives.

    2. That's exactly what I meant by the bad seed of a daughter. As far as their lives being productive, I was referring to the fact that they were both teachers and by all accounts up until Kyron's disappearance were well-thought of in Roseburg. The world witnessed an extreme case of parental enabling and its tragic consecuences by the Anthony family. Who can forget Cindy unbelievably lying on the stand for Casey even after George was falsly accused of molesting Casey and having knowledge that Caylee had drowned in the pool? The Moultons remind me of the Anthonys, blindly and stupidly continuing to shelter their obviously guilty daughter because it makes them seem that they could care less about Kyron or Kiara.
