Kyron Horman, Missing Children, And Harassment

This is Kyron Horman's mom, Desiree Young, talking about the day her son disappeared from Skyline Elementary, in Portland Oregon, when he was in second grade. That was five years ago. During that time, she has worked hard to keep her child's case in the news, and to make everyone aware of child safety issues. Unfortunately, she has hecklers, ill wishers, and internet trolls, who do not appear to share her desire for the world to be a safer place for children. This trend, of heckling the parents of missing or murdered children is disturbing; Desiree is not the only parent to notice such individuals. It seems that any time tragedy strikes a family, and crime is suspected as the cause, the game of trolling the family seems irresistible for some. Why is that?

In Kyron Horman's case, IP numbers have been traced back to friends and relatives of Terri Horman, Kyron's sometime step-mother. In a spirit of defensiveness, they spam and comment-bomb anyone who merely shares Kyron's picture and contact information. There is a seventeen year old boy, named Colton Barrera, who disappeared in Kansas, in 2008. His case has hecklers, as well. Those are mostly the parents of young people rumored to have information about him. In an ongoing effort to silence any attempt to solve Colton's case, the parents of the persons of interest harass anyone who wants to know why Colton is missing. Law enforcement in Kansas is more worried about popularity than solving crimes, so Colton's case has not even been investigated. The forty year old missing persons case of Sheila and Katherine Lyon is another case that has attracted harassment from specific sources, directed at anyone who maintains and entertains a hope that the case will be solved. There is also a court date, on June 29, for the wife of a "person of interest". She took the whole thing a step further and actually lied to the grand jury about evidence in the case.

Even in a Kansas case that ended happily, with the missing child found, there was cover-up, in order to protect the criminality of a Frankfort teacher, and to cover the school's lack of protocol when a child disappears. Frankfort Kansas must really dislike No Child Left Behind, because Tom Schroeder left a child behind one day! The child's parents are still getting nasty emails from teachers at Frankfort High School and Tom Schroeder and his stupid frankfurter friends, defending his actions and lying for him. The only reason anyone would do this is, unfortunately, the same as the reason for harassing someone whose child is still missing or has been murdered: the perpetrator, along with any accomplices or enablers, wants to derail any chance of apprehension.

Kyron Horman Still Missing Four Years Later

Today is the fourth anniversary of the day Kyron Horman disappeared from his second grade class at his Portland, Oregon school. The community has not found him yet, but it has also not forgotten him.

Desiree Young, Kyron's mother, has announced another search effort to take place on June 21. A couple of years ago, when a link to that site first appeared here, I telephoned the lawyer representing Desiree and verified that this site is legitimate. His secretary gave me a return phone call a little while later to tell me that Desiree had told her that there were a few scams involving missing children, including Kyron, and that the site set up by Kelly Ramirez is legitimate. She was more than happy to share this information and was encouraged that a few of us are willing to double check the authenticity of a charity or a fund drive prior to sharing the link. Never be shy about making a phone call to make sure a fund drive is on the up and up. I was concerned about asking redundant questions or taking up too much valuable time, but was pleasantly surprised when my efforts were appreciated.

Carol Moulton Dials 911

Desiree Young, mother of missing eleven year old, Kyron Horman, held a small demonstration outside the home of the person who was last seen with Kyron. Well; outside that person's parents' home. "That person" is Terri Horman, sometime step parent of Kyron, and her parents are Larry and Carol Moulton, of Roseburg, Oregon. Terri claimed she dropped Kyron off at school in Portland, Oregon on June 4, 2010, and knew nothing about his disappearance. She then proceeded to fail two polygraphs, and did not cooperate when law enforcement asked her to clarify the differences in the three or four different versions of events she authored. Kyron's dad, Kaine Horman, wants a divorce, and Desiree just wants Kyron back. To date, Larry and Carol Moulton have done nothing to assist in the search.

In a phone call to the police, since in Carol Moulton's world, 911 is for non-emergencies, Carol Moulton complained rather bitterly about Desiree's signs and pictures of Kyron. She also lied, stating that Desiree and company were "on the lawn" and performing acts of vandalism. In the picture above, they are certainly not on anyone's lawn, and if they were at any point, it was probably not deliberate. It is also not a crime to accidently set foot on a lawn, while walking, jogging, or demonstrating. No vandalism occurred, either. Kyron's name was written in the street, but in water soluble chalk. This is not vandalism. So there we have it: Carol Moulton called the police and told them two boldfaced lies. In the 911 call, played in the video above, she does not even sound as if she considers false statements, as long as they are made by her, unlawful or morally wrong in any way. A third verbal misconception she passed along to the 911 dispatcher is the notion that Kyron is her "grandson". Carol Moulton has no grandchildren. Terri was adopted. If Kyron actually was Carol's grandson, shouldn't she have been a bit more sympathetic to the efforts of those who want to find him?

The clouding of real information and the insertion of misinformation by Carol Moulton are appalling. How much of the same could this woman have done immediately after Kyron disappeared, and do her efforts contribute to Kyron's continued status as a Missing Person?

 

This 911 call is probably the longest conversation either of the Moultons have had with law enforcement about Kyron Horman.

 

Desperately Seeking Kyron

This past weekend, Desiree Young, mother of Kyron Horman, who disappeared from his school in Portland, Oregon in June of 2010, when he was seven years old, searched several areas near the school again. I will have to admit that while I hope Kyron's family will find Kyron, I was quite relieved that Kyron was not found, deceased, on this search. I sincerely hope that Kyron is one of the lucky missing children who is eventually found alive.

Desiree Young answered questions after the search, and made sure law enforcement was notified each time something of possible interest was found. She had quite a few different teams of scent dogs and searchers. Also, she is keeping her son's missing persons case in the news, so that everyone will be aware that he is still missing. Kyron's eleventh birthday will be in a couple of weeks. Below are some are progressed pictures that were released about a year ago. The viewer should be aware that Kyron's hair could be long, short, or dyed. He could have glasses, sunglasses, or no glasses. He could be a lot taller. The fact that he was not located on this weekend's search gives me all the more reason to dare to hope that he may turn up alive. I hope to hear more from Desiree.

Kyron Horman's Mom Drops Lawsuit

Desiree Young, mother of Kyron Horman, has dropped her lawsuit against Terri Horman, sometime stepmother of same. Kyron, now ten years old, has been missing since June 4, 2010, when he disappeared from his school in Portland Oregon. Young's lawyer, Eldon Rosenthal, stated that in order to proceed with the case against Terri Horman, his office would need access to evidence from the open criminal investigation. Also, it has been rumored that a formerly uncooperative witness is now cooperating. While reporters are speculating that this witness is DeDe Spicher, friend of Terri Horman, there are enough loose ends and possible accessories after the fact, in this case, for the unnamed witness to be anyone connected to Kyron's family, Kyron's school, or to Kyron. Because another lawsuit can be filed later, after the investigation is closed, it would be in everyone's best interest for Kyron to be returned to his family unharmed.
 

 

Terri Horman Still Thinks The World Revolves Around Her

While perusing a couple of different Oregon sources the other day for news about the missing persons case of ten year old Kyron Horman, who disappeared from his school in Portland on June 4, of 2010, when he was seven; I noticed a rather nasty and one-sided comment that was clearly made by someone who is quite angry with the general public, with anyone who wishes Kyron's family well, and with anyone who would help search for Kyron. While there are always trolls and "haters" on any newspaper forum, this comment, from Oregonlive, made me think for a couple of reasons. First, the commenter makes a reference to a vigil that was held well over a year ago, and made some statements about an incident that took place during that vigil, but was not publicized......one would have had to be physically present in order to cite the particular details mentioned here; second, this commenter appears to seriously expect those who love Kyron, even his mother, to forget about him after awhile and give up the search! Here's an excerpt:

"I think people traveling from several different states to demonstrate their hate for {Terri} just a block away from her home, is a bit hateful. Do you see that as a loving thing to do? How about when they went up on to the porch of the Moultons home and looked into the windows? Hateful or loving? Maybe they were hoping to see Kyron inside?"

Hmmm....hey commenter; how do you KNOW the states from which any of those people hailed? The media barely covered that particular vigil. It did not mention much about the people involved, and certainly did not cover their personal information. Nor did the media give any factoids about the Moultons' house, or whose doorbell was rung, or who responded. If you have this information, you were present at the time. Why didn't Terri Horman or any of the Moultons take some flyers and join? There was, after all, an invitation extended for the Moultons to do so!

Why would you even rant, Whoever-You-Are, (does your name begin with the letter "T"?) about whether the gesture was loving or hateful toward Terri? Are you thinking that the only reason anyone ever looked for Kyron after he disappeared was to make Terri Horman upset? Or to express "hate" for her? If so, you are crazily mistaken! Sure, lots of people hate mentally ill, selfish, lazy, cellulite-covered, overly dependent, non-working child abusers; and quite a few people do not favor Terri Horman, but that's not the reason for the search for Kyron! There's a search on for Kyron because he's a little boy who disappeared on his stepmother's watch, and because over two years have gone by without his being found. That's why people knocked on doors in Roseburg, Oregon, and passed out flyers with Kyron's picture. It was a gesture of love for Kyron, not a gesture of hate for Kyron's sometime stepmother. The world does not revolve around Terri Horman. That said, let me also point out that the gesture was a loving gesture because everyone passing out the flyers loved doing it. One thing would have made them love it more: finding Kyron that day.

The gentle commenter went on to complain about Desiree Young, Kyron's mother, who, with assistance from donors, posted a billboard in Southern Oregon with Kyron's picture. It seems that the effort of posting a billboard on the highway, where it can be seen by commuters, has also rubbed this person the wrong way. Such measures are common during missing persons cases, and if Terri Horman took this personally, she needs to see, once again, that things other than herself are important, and Kyron's mother put up the billboard to keep Kyron's case in the public perception.

"Do you think the billboard Desiree put up on the freeway was a loving thing to do? Kyron, we're going to track you down? Did she think Kyron goes to work everyday in his car and drives past that sign? Or was it a loving way for her to tell Terri how much she loved her son? Or to just torment Terri out of frustration?
What about Desiree passing out flyers in Roseburg and asking everyone to remember that Terri lives in Roseberg and should be shunned by the community. Do you think that was another one of those loving things people do for Kyron?"

Oh no! Did Desiree Young pass out flyers? My Goddess, what is the world coming to? You're damn straight she passed out flyers, Whoever-You-Are! And, yes; it was an act of love! None of it was done to "torment Terri". Desiree Young very likely does not have time to torment Terri. She's trying to find Kyron! Had Terri Horman thought about Kyron from the very beginning, passed out flyers, helped with searches, answered questions, told the truth, passed polygraphs, and been available to help when Desiree was in Roseburg with flyers, it is very likely that no one would have suggested shunning Terri Horman. The sad truth is, Desiree Young was discouraged by the fact that many of the people in Roseburg had not even heard about the Kyron Horman missing persons case, despite all of the publicity it received in Portland. Kyron's stepmother, her parents, and his stepbrother ALL lived in Roseburg at the time Desiree Young passed out flyers there. Why didn't Roseburg already know about Kyron?

No, Terri; none of the efforts to find Kyron have been all about you. The world does not revolve around, you, either.

Is True Nelson A Terrbot?

Several days ago, I posted on this site about True Nelson, his blog, and some horribly unkind suggestions he made about the parents of Kyron Horman, who disappeared from his Portland Oregon School in June of 2010. He suggested that Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, moved the court to abate a lawsuit she filed in June of last year against Terri Horman, Kyron's some time stepmother and the last person with whom Kyron was seen. I cited legal documents and reliable media sources which identified the office of the Multnomah County District Attorney as the party who requested that the lawsuit not move forward immediately, not Desiree Young. I also pointed out that any parent who loves his or her children is not going to care about any of the things that True Nelson suggested might constitute a reason for Desiree to stop looking for Kyron: reputation, cross examination by Terri Horman's attorney, and "skeletons in her closet". I will say this once again, True; all I see and hear whenever Desiree makes a statement to the press is a mother who wants her missing son back. If you have children of your own, you should know better.

Tonight, I glanced at his blog again, and I noticed a comment to one of his posts about Kyron that looks like it could only have been written by someone who wants the media and public opinion to shift from wondering where Terri Horman could possibly have hidden Kyron to blaming the school. It deals with possible culpability on the part the Kyron's school, Skyline Elementary. Here it is:

"I think the school did get a pass. They should have been pressed more from the start, and each teacher, principal, janitor intensely questioned. For them to delete the electronic records from that day (and LE didn't even request them) is disgusting. Schools are union shops as are LE. It would have been better to bring in outsiders to investigate and it has always troubled me that the parents haven't done that."

Let me break this down for everyone, in case there is anyone out there who cannot see through this. First of all, the police do not sit around and discuss every investigative tactic they use in a situation such as the disappearance of a child with the media. Not only do they NOT owe the general public information about the evidence they collect at a crime scene, they do not have time to discuss those things! Second, they interviewed hundreds and hundreds of people, over and over. They did interview the staff at the school, and the staff was forthcoming with all the information they had! There is only ONE PERSON who was not forthcoming with information, and whose accounts, I repeat, ACCOUNTS.....she gave more than one story about her whereabouts that day.......and that is Terri Horman. She's also the one who failed at least two polygraphs, according to her son, James Moulton. Terri Horman is the only loose end here; the school was willing to account for the whereabouts of it's staff that day.

Allow me to move on to the subject of deleting electronic records. While a phone log for the landline at the school may not have been kept, beyond voicemail and answering machine messages, no email received or sent by the school could have ever been truly deleted at the school's end. Why? Because a sent email has a sender and a recipient, and in the case of a school, often a sender and many recipients. So even if the school scrubbed all of it's hard drives, (it didn't, trust me) the people who had sent and received the electronic communiques would still have had them. At least a few of those people. Also, a lot of electronic information is stored in the cloud, and once that happens, the computer or cellphone of origin ceases to matter. The information is stored on whichever website was used, and can still be retrieved, which, I'm sure, was done. Also, electronic information, such as ISP numbers and IP addresses can very easily be tracked. Very easily. So rest assured, person who thinks the Skyline Elementary has hidden electronic information; it did not happen. The only relevant electronic products in connection to Kyron's disappearance that were not inspected by law enforcement are the burn phones that were bought by a "friend" for Terri Horman.

That comment really sounds like it was made by someone who does not understand how information moves in today's world. It also sounds as if it was made by someone who would like to lift the cloud of suspicion away from Terri Horman. Perhaps Terri Horman's mother, Carol Moulton? Hmmm? I think it's possible. The element that I find most distubing here; however, is the fact that the comment to True Nelson's blog also sounds like it was made by someone who does not want Kyron found. That, I think, is completely wrong.

True Nelson Says What?

Usaully, the writer of the blog, True At True, offers an intelligent, commonsense opinion about his chosen topics. I enjoy reading his commentaries. But his most recent post, written on January 18, about the Kyron Horman case, surprised me. Somehow, he is putting forth an idea that Desiree Young, Kyron's mother, moved the court requesting that the civil lawsuit she filed against Terri Horman, her son's stepmother, be abated. Here's a quote:

"It is my understanding that concurrent with Desiree Young requesting ‘abatement’ in said civil case there were three additional factors in play: DeDe Spicher was scheduled to testify before the Judge regarding her (DeDe’s) refusal to fully cooperate during her deposition – citing the Fifth Amendment; Desiree and her husband Tony, as well as Kaine Horman, were scheduled to be deposed; and Desiree had requested (through her attorney) a protective order regarding mental health records."

While the lawsuit has been delayed by a few months, Desiree Young certainly did not make that request of the court. In fact, the motion was filed by an outside party, specifically the office of the Multnomah County District Attorney. As for the suggestions that the reason for the delay was the information contained in medical records, mental health information in particular, Young's team fought for that information to be revealed in court, and is in no way attempting to block it. The reference to the testimony of DeDe Spicher was also a bit misleading, since no information at all about her testimony, other than her comments while answering questions, was ever analyzed for the public. The judge who permitted the delay spoke of protecting witnesses, but did not name anyone.

Here's more, explaining an imaginary role played by Steve Houze, Terri Horman's criminal attorney:

"If you were Attorney Houze, how would you attempt to defuse Desiree Young’s civil suit? Why not dig up anything and everything you can about Desiree or Kaine? What if information was developed on one or both of them that would not only cause them embarrassment, but additionally cast suspicion on them?"

Steve Houze will undoubtedly attempt to do some of those things if and when Terri Horman finds herself in criminal court, as a defendant. But he is not representing Terri Horman in this lawsuit. Why is this blogger imagining that Steve Houze is trying to "cast suspicion" on Kaine Horman, Desiree Young, or Tony Young? Not only has this already been done, time and time again, as Kyron has been missing for over two years, it also doesn't matter what "suspicions" can be cast on them. They happen to be the three adults in Kyron's life who love him and want him home. Because of that, they are at cross purposes with Houze's client, who does not love Kyron and apparently does not want Kyron home. Who cares about how, or in what ways, any of them might not be perfect? Why should any of them care, also, about any muckraking or character assasinations Houze might do? Every time I listen to Desiree Young talk about Kyron, I only hear a mother who wants her missing son found. I don't think she cares what any lawyer digs up about her.

Suddenly The District Attorney Wants To Delay Desiree Young's Lawsuit?

Say What????? The sheriff and district attorney in Multnomah County, Oregon want to delay the lawsuit filed by Kyron Horman's mother, Desiree Young, against Kyron's stepmother, Terri Horman, for two years??? What the hell? Kyron has already been missing for over two years, why would this lawsuit, that was filed in order to gain testimony and find Kyron, need to be delayed?

I actually have a bit of a theory about this. What if, upon graduating from boot camp, and finishing any other training, such as airborne, James Moulton, Terri's son, decided to go ahead and share whatever he knows about his mother's activities on the day Kyron went missing? Because almost any military career, these days, is dependant upon a security clearance, which; in turn, is dependant upon a polygraph examination. Hopefully, if James has any knowledge at all about what happened to Kyron, he spoke about it before taking a polygraph. Most of the time, if someone taking a polygraph examination covers for a person who has committed a crime, the result is pretty much the same as if the subject were covering for him or herself. Deceptive. Perhaps James realized that a loony-toony maternal unit is simply not worth the complete throwing away of one's life. The timing would be about right, considering when James left home to go to boot camp.

Seriously; to delay a the progress of a case such as this, someone had better have a really good idea of where Kyron went. My tracker tells me every day that a lot of people from all over the world are still interested in information about Kyron Horman's case, and that a lot of people care about him. The case is not going to simply "go away". If Multnomah County does not have a good reason for moving the court for this delay, there will be a lot of angry people wanting answers.

 

Oregon Court Moved To Compel Dede Spicher To Cooperate

As an update to the last post I made, about Dede Spicher's refusal to testify concerning the Kyron Horman case, here is a link to the motion filed by Eldon Rosenthal, who represents Desiree Young, Kyron's mother. The claim is that a mere witness does not have a premise to use the fifth amendment in a civil case to evade testifying. Other privileges do not exist, such as spousal relationship or parent/child relationship.

 

DeDe Spicher Wants Fifth Amendment Rights In Kyron Horman Case

There is now a new motion on the table in the lawsuit filed by Desiree Young against Terri Horman for answers about her son, Kyron Horman's disappearance from his school in 2010 from his school in Portland, Oregon. It seems Terri's friend, Dede Spicher, wants to assert her fifth amendment rights when she is only a witness, not a defendant. If Dede is ordered to testify, yet still refuses, or worse, lies, she might actually go to jail. Would Terri Horman visit her? It seems that Aaron's Law is proving  to be somewhat of an enigma to those who wish to keep a missing child unfound.

 

Terri Horman Gets Another Fifteen Minutes Of Fame

On September 14, 2012, John Walsh, of America's Most Wanted will feature Kyron Horman's missing persons case. He did this once in the past, but only to show Kyron's picture, not to speak about the case in depth. The new episode; however, will discuss the case in depth. Terri Horman was just another bored housewife before June 4, 2010, when seven year old Kyron disappeared from his school in Portland Oregon. Then she failed two polygraphs while discussing her activities on that day with law enforcement and made national headlines. Further problems with her testimony picqued the curiosity of reporters and bloggers, and she has been a subject of discussion ever since. On June 1, of this year, she made the headlines again, when Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, filed suit against her for custodial interference. Of course, Terri's lawyers tried very hard to have this case dismissed, but that did not work. There is publicity for Terri every time a motion is filed in that case and every time a decision is made. And now there is coverage by America's Most Wanted. It looks like Terri Horman just can't get any privacy these days! What's really interesting is that John Walsh thinks that Terri might be culpable in some way for Kyron's disappearance! Imagine that! John Walsh is planning to detail how the evidence points to Terri. She'll be famous, once again. How exciting for her family..........

There have been tips given to authorities about Kyron that have not been verfiable from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Texas, Florida, and probably more places. There is also a $50,000 reward. Hopefully, if Kyron has not been located before this episode of America's Most Wanted airs, the tip that will bring him home will be called in to the show. After Kyron is home and Terri's fifteen minutes of fame are over, things will eventually become bearably routine again for her parents and her adult son. After Kyron is home.

Terri Horman Called A Prime Suspect By Judge

Apparently, Peter Bunchpants, Esquire, filed an appeal to Judge Kantor's ruling in Multnomah County, Oregon, stating that the lawsuit filed against Terri Moulton Horman, by Desiree Young, mother of missing Kyron Horman, can go forward. Today, Judge Kantor issued a new ruling, basically reiterating that the case can move forward. He said something really interesting, though; he called Terri Horman a "prime suspect" in Kyron's disappearance. Not a "de facto" suspect, a prime suspect.

Kyron Horman; Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition

Terri Horman's lawyer du jour, Peter Bunchpants....ok, ok, Peter Bunch, is very, very upset because while in court today, a judge decided to allow Desiree Young's lawsuit against Terri Horman for her role in the events of June 4, 2010, as they relate to Kyron Horman, who disappeared from his school in Portland, Oregon that day, to move forward. Yes, that is correct; the case will move foward. That not only sounds good, but it looks great in print! Move forward.......ok, back to the post; depositions, including that of one James Logan Moulton, Terri's son, will begin on Thursday. If I were Gnostic, I'd be saying something like "hallalujah!" But I'm not, so we will have to settle for "so mote it be", and "thankyou". Because James Moulton wants to be a soldier, perhaps the thing to say is "praise the lord and pass the ammunition!"

According to Maxine Bernstein, reporter for the Oregonian, Bunchpants had this to say about Desiree Young: 'This lawsuit can't cure what ails her. She's not going to get the relief she's seeking'. Hmm......since the relief Desiree seeks is her son, Kyron, I wonder just how he KNOWS that Desiree will not get the relief she seeks. That's interesting. It looks like he had better try his best, though! He cannot stop the court proceedings, or the depositions of witnesses. Perhaps his best option would be to tell Terri Moulton Horman to dress really nicely for court. Below is an outfit that would also double for the gym! Of course, the model is a lot better looking than the defendant!

Petition To Keep The Lawsuit Against Terri Horman Moving Forward

As I have shared on this blog earlier, Desiree Young, mother of Kyron Horman,who has been missing from Portland, Oregon for over two years, has filed suit against Kyron's stepmother, Terri Horman, in an effort to force her to testify about what happened the day Kyron disappeared. After failing two polygraphs, Terri refused to give any more statements to investigators, and Kyron is still missing. Now that Desiree has moved civil court to insist upon answers from Terri, Terri's lawyer, Peter Bunch, would like an abatement for two more years! This is wrong for many reasons. Not only would an abatement fail to take Kyron's needs into consideration, should he still be alive, but the fact that he disappeared from his school is of extreme importance to parents and children. Terri And James Moulton Should Be Proud

Aaron's Law is still pretty new. The bill was just passed into law in Oregon in 2005. This law grants a parent of a kidnapped child, or a parent whose custodial rights have been frustrated, the right to pursue the matter in civil court when pursuit in family court will not remedy the situation. Sean Cruz, an Oregon parent, wrote that bill because of his own experience on the receiving end of custodial interference.

Desiree Young, mother of Kyron Horman who disappeared from his school on June 4, 2010, is taking advantage of Aaron's Law, in order to finally hear testimony from Terri Moulton Horman, Kyron's sometime step parent, concerning why she will not give Kyron back to his natural parents. Instead of stepping forward in this moment of judicial history, Terri balked. She wants an an abatement for two years! But she was pretty quiet about the whole affair until July 24, when she learned that her biological son, James Moulton, was going to be deposed. THEN, she wanted a hearing......to move the court that he not testify! What? We get to pick and choose which witnesses testify in court? Someone who saw, heard, or knows something about the matter at hand cannot be subpoenaed because we don't want them to be subpoenaed? Waaaaaaaa! Is poor Terri gonna cwy?

Terri Horman should really both be proud that her fifteen minutes of fame involves the first case tried in court via a brand new law. This is really an important case that will set a precedent for future cases. Neither she, nor her son, James, should back away from court if they have nothing to hide. Desiree's attorney, Eldon Rosenthal, filed an answer to Terri's request for a two year abatement today.  Kyron has already been missing for two years. Hopefully, the judge will only adjust the schedule to assure that Terri Horman will not have to be in family court for her pending divorce at the same time she is telling Desiree why she has not returned Kyron.

Why Is Peter Bunchpants Seeking An Abatement?

Why doesn't Peter Bunch, representing Terri Horman in the lawsuit filed against her by Desiree Young, mother of missing Kyron Horman, want Terri Horman to simply go to court and tell Desiree whatever should should have told law enforcement two years ago, when Kyron initially disappeared in Portland, Oregon, and everyone was looking everywhere for him? What are his fears about just walking into the court room with his client, answering questions, testifying, and going home afterward, satisfied with our justice system and whatever decision it may yield? Here's what he had to say: “While one can sympathize with Young,” Horman’s attorney, Peter Bunch, wrote in the filing, “her lawsuit is, at its core, an attempt to circumvent established procedures for discovery in criminal proceedings and is an attack on Horman’s fundamental constitutional rights.”

Interesting. "While one can sympathize with Young".........as if Bunchpants really sympathized. (where's the eye-rolley when I need it?) "While one can really sympathize with Young"......we really need to stay focused on the importance of leaving Kyron lost........it's more important to go with the flow of the last two years.......we need to put the rights of a step parent first.........ect....ect.......ad infinitum, you can fill in whatever meaningless quote you might expect to come out his his mouth next.

Here's a little something about the law; if Terri Horman were a daycare provider or a babysitter, a parent could have sued her for "losing" Kyron a long time ago. And won. She would have lost her daycare providers' liscence and possibly would have been ordered to stay away from children. She would also have been tried in criminal court by now. Terri Horman has had it easy. There has been no accountability for her lack of responsibility for Kyron at all. There is really no reason for Peter Bunch's pants to be bunched up.

How about this, Bunchpants? "While one can sympathize with Young" it's very important to leave crime rings and their major players and pawns intact. If we hold those who interfere with custodial rights or commit other crimes against children responsible , family law attorneys who make lots of money off of such disagreements and defense attorneys who make lots of money off of criminals who harm children might not make as much money. Would that be the real reason your pants might be bunched up over this lawsuit, Bunchpants?

Causes Worthy Of Charitable Donations

Here are two causes that should have more attention, and need to stay in operation. The first is Kansas based Media For The Missing, which seeks to keep pictures of missing persons in places where they can be seen at all hours by the public, along with information about how to report sightings or knowledge of cases. In my opinion, Kansas is important for such a mission, because Kansas City has networks of highways that can take a person almost anywhere in the United States.

The other one is GoFundMe, for the lawsuit Desiree Young has been obliged to file against Terri Horman, who was living in the home with Kyron Horman when he disappeared from his Portland, Oregon school at age seven, just over two years ago. Terri Horman was Kyron's step parent, but is no longer, as she is separated from Kyron's father, Kaine Horman. She has not only refused to testify or establish her timesline of activities for the day Kyron went missing, but is now trying to block the testimony of other family members. This fund was established by Desiree's sister, Kelly Ramirez.

October 13, Portland, Oregon, High Noon! There will be a status hearing about the lawsuit filed by Desiree Young, mother of missing Kyron Horman, against Terri Horman, the sometime stepmother and defacto suspect in the case. Heretofore, Terri Horman has refused to testify informally, to police, about her adventures on Friday, June 4, 2010, when Kyron disappeared, so she has been formally invited to share the details of her experiences on that day in court.

Already, it seems that Terri and Company are not only attempting to postpone the event, but to also shorten the guest list! For shame, Terri.....you do not even want you own son to defend you! My, my! But as the moon will be entering Libra on that auspicious day, I have a feeling that whatever you try to supress will be balenced out carefully on the scales. James is an adult. You no longer get to control him. If he knows about a crime, he has a legal obligation to testify. Just how much do you think you can get away with?

Thoughts On Terri Horman And Custodial Interference

Something curious about what little testimony the police got from Terri Horman on June 4, 2010, when Kyron Horman was last seen, allegedly having been dropped off for class at Skyline Elementary in Portland Oregon is that she stated several times that Kyron had a doctor's appointment on that day. Then, when it became inconvenient and counterproductive to her defense, after failing a polygraph, she changed her story and stated that it was the the following Friday. The only problem with that was that one of Kyron's young schoolmates told the police that Kyron told him he was leaving early that day, and would not be in class, because he had a doctor's appointment. How about that?

First of all, no doctor in the entire Portland area had an appointment booked for Kyron on either Friday. The lawsuit that has been filed against her by Kyron's mom, Desiree Young, for custodial interference would have a much stronger chance of dismissal or loss if Terri Horman could supply all of the details of the alleged doctor's appointment, along with any other pertinant information to the court. Second, Kaine and Desiree, Kyron's parents, who share custody of Kyron, have no knowledge of this doctor's appointment, or of any condition that would warrent a sudden and unexpected doctor's appointment. Here's something worth noting: Desiree, as Kyron's mom, has a right to all of this information, and a right to make medical decisions for her son. Even if the doctor's appointment was not imaginary, Terri committed custodial interference by failing to consult Kaine or Desiree. How will she and her Houzeboy, Stephen Houze, esquire, handle this in court?

Third, how could Kyron be ill enough for an emergency medical appointment with an imaginary physician and still be well enough to visit his mom, several hours away, that weekend? It's a big, big mystery.  One that only Terri Horman and Steve Houze understand. As you can see in the picture on the left, Terri Horman looks terribly worried. (sarcasm) If Steve Houze understands more about this matter than even Terri does, hopefully all of Oregon will insist that he come clean. This has gone on long enough. Terri, where's Kyron?
