Crazy Racist Principal Is Fired

Nancy Gordeuk, the crazy racist high school principal who ruined graduation for the seniors at TNT Academy in Georgia, has been officially relieved of her duties as a school employee. Apparently, the private school's investors did not accept her excuse, "the devil made me do it", as a legitimate reason for ruining graduation. Perhaps the devil was annoyed, too. After all, his reputation takes a beating when people like Nancy Gordeuk and her ilk (fundamentalist christians) do not wish to take responsibility for their actions. While it is a very wonderful thing that she will no longer be extended the privilege of badly influencing the young people at TNT Academy, the graduating class of 2015 will never be given their graduation back. Because she's a bigot, Nancy Gordeuk ruined a once in a lifetime event for these students.

How To Ruin A Graduation

How does a principal ruin a graduation in 2015? It's easy; devalue the valedictorian's speech by completely forgetting about it, insult the families of the graduates, and follow it up with a nasty, racist remark. No kidding. Nancy Gordeuk, principal of TNT High School, in Dekalb County, Georgia, did just that. Then, she apologized, by doing that christian thingy which yours truly finds so exasperating: she blamed that imaginary specter referred to as "the devil". Then she told everyone that "God" has "forgiven" her, so it appears that it's all okay that she's a flaming racist who ruined graduation, and she went on to tell all the graduates and their parents to just "get over it". Geesh! Was that christian of her? If so, anyone with manners and decency will naturally want to be counted out.

Here's what her rude and annoying son, Travis, had to say about the whole event:

Some of the letters have been removed; the post in it's original form was even more offensive.

Kendrick Johnson's Murder Reopened

Eighteen months after the parents of  Valdosta, Georgia high school senior, Kendrick Johnson, were told "sorry, your son died because we've been teaching children this way for years and years, and we are not going to change our lifestyle for you", Johnson's death and the subsequent staging of the crime scene.....his body hidden at school, inside of a gym mat, from his parents......has been reopened.  Conflicts between surveillance video, cell phone metadata, witness statements, and whatever evidence could be analyzed after the crime scene was contaminated multiple times has necessitated another look at this murder. Had all students mattered to the school administration and the school board, perhaps Kendrick Johnson would still be alive.

Georgia Police Hate Okra

Georgia police apparently had nothing to do one day last week, so they descended on the home of Dwayne Perry in Cartersville Georgia to arrest him for the crime of growing okra in his garden. Who knows what they were thinking....."if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck...maybe it's marijuana!" No; that can't be it. It's a lot more likely that the police in Georgia were not thinking at all.

To the left is a big bud, such as one would find on an okra stalk. Maybe the drug suppression task force will try smoking it.

Luckily, no one was injured or killed. When police act on misinformation or ego driven agendas, innocent people often are injured or killed. Too often. For that reason, the ensuing apology seemed a bit hollow to Perry. "It did have quite a number of characteristics that were similar to a cannabis plant," opined Georgia State cop, Kermit Stokes. Perhaps it did; both plants photosynthesize.

"If we disturbed them in any manner, that's not our intent. Our intent is to go out and do our job to the best of our ability." Such and apology would be a lot more believable if police in Georgia had actually investigated the case of a Valdosta high school student by the name of Kendrick Johnson, who was found deceased in a rolled up gym mat at his school. He had "disappeared", and his parents were never informed by the school that he was missing. Sound familiar, Frankfort, Kansas?

Dangerous okra plants, and other infractions of prohibition laws, should never take precedence over missing persons investigations and murder investigations.

Unexplored Anonymous Tip In Kendrick Johnson's Death

Now that the investigation into Kendrick Johnson's untimely death has been closed, and Lowndes County sheriff, Stryde Jones, is insisting that some anonymous testimony that was sent to his office via email is "not credible", Kendrick's parents have filed suit against the Lowndes County Board Of Education in Georgia for wrongful death. This is appropriate, although it would have been more appropriate to conduct a thorough investigation. The tip was anonymous, but that does not mean that probable cause for searches, more interviews, and analysis of DNA and fingerprint evidence does not exist. In fact, this death is speculated to be the result of a white assailant against Kendrick, who was black. We all know that if it was the other way around, the sheriff and the court would have conducted a real investigation and answers would have resulted.

Here is a question about Stryde Jones and his statement that the anonymous tip "isn't credible": just how the hell does Stryde KNOW the tip isn't credible? How does he KNOW that he does not have to pursue this tip, the same way other law enforcement agencies pursue tips? There really is only one way this sheriff would know these things, and that is if he already knows who killed Kendrick Johnson. Which begs the question, who is Sheriff Stryde Jones, of Lowndes County Georgia, protecting?

More on this in a day or two.

Forensic Evidence In Kendrick Johnson Case

Kendrick Johnson's untimely death at his Georgia school last year is finally gaining some national attention. It would be nice to think it was also the subject of serious investigation, but over a year has passed, and local law enforcement initially had no intentions of any honesty with Kendrick's family; from the cause of death to the possible suspects. Judging from community reaction to this, it appears that school officials and others in the community are displeased with the determination of Kendrick's parents to find out exactly what happened to their son. Some members of the community actually think that Kendrick's family should just forget that they ever loved him, and "move forward with their lives", accepting the community's judgment that it is okay to victimize some people, and that the feelings, lives, and children of those people do not matter.

"Move forward and get on with your life." Communities who push that philosophy usually push it on minority populations, and it is most feverishly pushed on those targets when special non-minority segments of the population, such as the children of law enforcement or prosecutors, have committed crimes that the teachers, policemen, school administrators, and Christian ministers would rather see unprosecuted.

Georgia Republican Wants Poor Children To Work As Janitors

Republicans want child labor again. And guess whose children they want to force to do menial tasks, instead of attending classes? The children of poor people, of course! Jack Kingston, (R) Georgia thinks that any child who qualifies for the national school lunch program should perform janitorial duties at school. So much for privacy and confidentiality....any child pushing a broom would obviously be from a financially disadvantaged family. Teachers who hate poverty stricken parents (yes, there definitely ARE such teachers, and they definitely DO take out their little angries on children sometimes) and bullies who look for victims would have new and reliable information about who has enough financial clout to hire legal representation and fight the resulting harassment and discrimination in court. Just what our schools need right now.......more division! Also, just what underprivileged children need; new reasons to feel shamed and humiliated because of circumstances over which they have no control. Who on earth would be so heartless?

When would the children of the poor get to study? The children who do not qualify for the school lunch program would have all the time they need to attend classes and study; none of their school day would be taken up in Jack Kingston's child labor program. This would naturally give the richer students an academic advantage over the financially less advantaged. What would happen if a child needed extra help or tutoring, and the schedule conflicted with that all important janitorial work? Or if the bus schedule conflicted with the Republicans' child labor program?

Republicans like Jack Kingston are quite willing to not only step all over the constitutional rights of children, but dismantle every educational advantage America offers children through public school. From all appearances, the ultimate goal is to take education away from the poor. Is this a direction America should really consider?

Georgia Coroner Files Two Investigations For One Death

Remember this post, about a seventeen year old young man named Kendrick Johnson? Kendrick died in January of this year, and when he did not come home from school, was later found rolled up in a gym mat at his school, the victim of a brutal murder. The crime scene was never locked down, because the basketball game was too important to the school. Evidence...what little was collected....was sloppily handled, and Kendrick's parents were given vague to blatantly dishonest answers about how their son died. Police actually tried to sell them a story of their son's death as an accident. Kendrick had actually been beaten and then hidden inside of a gym mat. No one gets rolled up in a gym mat by accident.  It looks to this blogger as if there is a perpetrator who is too special, for all the wrong reasons, to be held accountable for his or her crimes. "His", most likely; because when the formerly "non-existent" surveillance footage finally became existent, thanks to Anderson Cooper's coverage of the case, the others ON FILM who were present in the gym when this happened, although previously reported not present, are best described with masculine pronouns.

Something else quite disturbing that has come out of all this is that there are apparently two death certificates currently on file for Kendrick. Chances are, there was only one death certificate at first. Authorities in Lowndes County, Georgia were probably arrogant enough to think that they could rule any cause of death they chose, no matter how far fetched. The Justice Department wasn't even worried about it! At least, not until Anderson Cooper and CNN got involved. Then, all of a sudden, federal prosecutors changed their minds and decided to look at this again. A court order allowing Kendrick's parents to get a second opinion on the cause of death was also helpful. But why did a second death certificate, which had not been shared with Kendrick's family, also surface?

One should only need a medical second opinion over a diagnosis involving a treatable illness. A second opinion should never be a necessity to explain a cause of death, especially to grieving parents of a once healthy child. From the principal of Lowndes County High School to the Justice Department, which initially did not want to re-examine this case until CNN got involved: how do these people sleep at night? No one needs two birth certificates for one lifetime; no one needs two death certificates for one lifetime. Thank the Gods we have CNN to fix these problems for us! Its hard to tell, anymore, when our local governments will find it necessary to lie to our parents about what happened while we were in school.

Here's another perspective on this whole matter.

Kendrick Johnson Was Killed At School

Kendrick Johnson, a seventeen year old Lowndes County Georgia student,  didn't come home from school one day in January of this year. He didn't make it to a basketball game, either. On January 11, he was found deceased, rolled up in a gym mat. The death was ruled an accident, and some truly insane speculations were made concerning how he got into the gym mat. No evidence was analyzed, no witnesses were interviewed, the crime scene wasn't even taped off; Kendrick was found shortly after ten in the morning, and police did not investigate the surroundings or begin to look for evidence until after three in the afternoon, even though Georgia law requires that the coroner be called immediately when police discover a body. During the five hour interim, the gymnasium was in use. It would seem that police already somehow "knew" the death was an "accident".

That's exactly how Bill Watson, the Lowndes County coroner, ruled Kendrick's death: as an accident. A second autopsy was done at his parents' request and expense, and that autopsy yielded different findings. Kendrick Johnson actually died of "unexplained, apparent non-accidental blunt force trauma"....CNN, quoting the medical report. Kendrick's parents were also told by the sheriff and the prosecuting attorney that Kendrick was alone in the gym when he died. Yet the surveillance taken on that day shows other students in the gym at the same time. In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, L. Warren Turner, Jr., the attorney for the school, told Anderson Cooper that there were other students present in the gym. The very same attorney had previously joined the Georgia Bureau of Investigations in an unsuccessful effort to convince the community that Kendrick was alone when he died. The information is obviously conflicting, yet the lawyer does not acknowledge the problem. Rather than admit wrongdoing on the part of the school, which owes it's students better and more competent supervision, he leaves Kendrick's parents with the task of paying their own lawyer to challenge him, even though he knows that in protecting the school, he is at cross purposes with student safety, perverting justice, allowing a killer to remain at large, and sending a clear message to any would-be bullies that the school is more concerned with protecting it's public image than protecting any underage crime victims.

Anderson Cooper has as much of the footage from the day Kendrick died as he was able to get from the school. The reader should also note that law enforcement did not even peruse this video before the death was initially ruled accidental. Had Kendrick been white, would this investigation have been handled differently?

The Lowndes County coroner, Bill Watson, made yet another interesting comment. In addition to getting away with covering for a school where homicides go uninvestigated and covering for a police department that has agendas that are more important to the local sheriff than impartial enforcement of the law, Watson wants Anderson Cooper to redact the whole interview between himself and Cooper! Fat chance! Watson may be able to manipulate the journalists and advertisers who produce the local news where he lives, but he does not own Anderson Cooper or CNN!

Anonymous To Saxby Chambliss

Fourth Amendment, anyone? Saxby Chambliss, R-Georgia,  apparently does not think his constituents care about keeping it intact. Not only has his voting record supported the gradual transformation of America into a police state, he can actually be heard lying through his teeth at about 2:30 of the above video, during an interview with George Stephanopoulos. His biggest campaign donors are Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton ,Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, Verizon, at&t, and Microsoft, the very companies who made all of this intrusion into conversations protected by the Fourth Amendment possible in the first place. Coincidence? Not a chance.

Government Sponsored Crime

This is Cynthia McKinney, D-Georgia, asking Donald Rumsfeld some very pointed questions, back in 2006. Rumsfeld, and et els, evaded her questions. McKinney, however, represents her constituents, not any business or government agency; so she continued to seek answers to the hard questions she posed, mainly about human trafficking and child trafficking by government agencies, and allowed all of us to see how difficult it can be to get an answer from Big Brother on the criminal activities he "sponsors". Now here's a question for you: where do you think the government would obtain all of those trafficked children? Keep in mind, stranger abductions of children are actually rare, so, just how would government agencies acquire enough children and adults to fuel the amount of human trafficking that has been recently publicized? This site will address the subject again with more ideas and statistics in the near future.

Jasmine Benjamin's Parents Find Out About Her Death On Facebook

How cruel. Valdosta State College, in Georgia, had a student named Jasmine Benjamin, who fell asleep on the couch in a study area of her dorm, and never woke up. The college communicated with local police, but did not bother to call Jasmine's family. They found out on Facebook. What makes this even more insensitive, and just plain wrong, on the part of Valdosta State College, is that Jasmine was only seventeen years old; not even legally an adult. The whole matter got even worse when the medical examiner determined that her death is the result of homicide, rather than natural causes. The school really should have given Jasmine's parents a visit or a phone call.

Cross Curricular Third Grade Math

Every time I think I must have nearly seen or heard it all, something else totally new, stunning, and completely bizarre reaches out and grabs my attention. This goodie from Gwinnett County, Georgia, did it to me today. Would you believe that in Georgia, third grade math incorperates lessons that are obviously designed to desensitize students to human trafficking and encourage racial disrespect? They teach with word problems, such as, "If Frederick gets two beatings a day, how many beatings does Frederick get in a week?" Also, there are questions in the math lessons describing work done by slaves, and the trading of slaves. You can read more about it here.

Where to begin........Oh! I know! Let me first say that these math problems are at a first grade level, not third grade. Back in the dark ages, when yours truly was in third grade, students were learning long division at the third grade level. Not about how many beatings an illegally trafficked, undocumented human being working with no identification or wage would get in a week's time. Geesh! And we wonder why we, as a population, have so many problems with violence, crime, and education that does not really educate our children..........

This is one more reason why parents need to really watch what children are learning in public school. The very existence of "educators" paid by taxpayors, who are willing to teach this kind of stuff is offensive. The distinct need to question authority becomes more urgent in cases like this, and I hate to see a third grader put in such a position.

This is what Gwinnett County Schools had to say for themselves, "In this one, the teachers were trying to do a cross-curricular activity," Gwinnett County school district spokeswoman Sloan Roach said.".....Yahoo News

A "cross-curricular activity"? Okay, for a bonus question, maybe the third graders should calculate the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin!

This Is Interesting, Terri Horman

It's Monday again, and on Monday, I usually give Terri Horman, who googles her name from time to time, something to find when she looks for herself online. I usually do this via description of a cold case, and how it got solved. Terri's stepson, Kyron Horman, disappeared on June 4, 2010, from his school, and that has, unfortunately become a cold case; so by doing this, I give myself an avenue to run his picture online one more time, in hopes that someone will recognize him.

This is Kyron, looking at something that appears to be a decorated Easter egg, with a natural expression on his face. I am hoping that authorities will run an age progressed picture of him, soon. But more fervently, I am hoping he will be found before authorities have to run an age progressed picture of him. He has been missing for way too long of a time.

Here's this Monday's cold case, Terri: in 1970, a woman named Mary Rivera, of Texas, got mad at her husband and threw some boiling cooking oil on him. While plenty of us have had husbands that are worth a certain amount of anger, this is clearly domestic violence, unless it is done in self defense; but even then, there are other ways to handle this type of situation, besides feeding the violence. Even back in 1970.................................

Mary's husband was burned so severely that he died of his injuries. At that point, it became abundantly clear that Mary would face charges of some type of manslaughter, rather than just assualt. So she fled Texas and hid out in Georgia for forty-one years. Fast forwarding to now: one of her kids ran his mouth when the police asked nosy questions, and now she is back in the pokey, awaiting a court date. She has bad health, too, but since she is obviously a flight risk, she's not going anywhere today.

So what's this got to do with you, Terri? Hopefully, nothing. Seriously. I truly hope that Kyron's disappearance is custodial interferance on the part of one of his biological parents. That is Kyron's best chance of being alive, still, at this late date. But if this is the case, why are you not saying anything? Kaine is obviously not being very nice to you, Terri. If he has hidden Kyron from Desiree, why not just tell authorities how you know that, or why you think that? You and Kaine were not together for long, but still, in my opinion, long enough for you to notice a few things about his life. Or; conversely, if this was an action of Desiree, (much LESS likely for many reasons) why would you let the situation keep you prisoner in your parents' house, rob you of career opportunities, ruin your life, and take Kiara's mother away from her? If you are innocent, you do not owe those things to anyone. This is probably why the general public, myself included, maintains the opinion that you may have played a role in Kyron's disappearance. Just some food for thought, Terri.

Winner Of The Barney Fife Award This Month

It's time for another Barney Fife award. This time, it goes to the cops who arrested Ms. Raquel Nelson, five weeks after she and her children disembarked a city bus, attempted to cross the street, and watched in horror as her four year old son was hit by a hit and run driver and fatally injured. Yep......five weeks after it happened, social services, and apparently enough cops to make what I consider a false arrest, paid her a visit and turned her life even more upside down than it already was. Unbelievable.

This happened in April of 2010. Raquel Nelson was just in court on Tuesday. Thank the Gods that there was enough outcry about all this to send a message to the judge concerning the fairness of this. Had her sentence not been suspended, and had she gone to jail at all, I would have gone to Georgia myself, to picket the courthouse in Marietta. I don't think this mom committed a crime at all. Gosh; my own kids used to run, and dance around parking lots and up and down streets when I walked places with them and I never got charged with a crime! What's up with Georgia's social services department, anyway? Don't they have REAL abuse/neglect cases? It looks to me as if they zeroed in on this family because they thought the mother wouldn't have enough money to hire a good attorney, and her case could just be fodder for them, without them having to go to the trouble and inconvenience of dealing with a real child abuser. Ever notice how real child abusers almost never get prosecuted? Don't forget Adam Herrman, of Kansas. No one had any problems at all with the abuses meted out to Adam by Doug and Valerie Herrman. Real abusers are nasty people, and hard to deal with. It's easier for police and social workers to go pick on people who really are not abusers and use them to fill their dockets and caseloads and get paid, instead.

So.......in honor of this:

Five weeks after the accident, investigators came to Nelson's home, said her aunt, Loretta Williams. Nelson was charged with three misdemeanors: second-degree vehicular homicide, failing to cross at a crosswalk and reckless conduct, according to court records.

A jury convicted her this month. Although prosecutors did not recommend jail time, each count carried a potential sentence of one year in jail -- for a total of 36 months."........CNN

Law Enforcement in Marietta, Georgia gets the dubious honor of the Barney Fife Award from the blog of Siri's World for July of 2011. Believe it or not, the hit and run, I repeat, HIT AND RUN, driver who hit the little boy got less jail time than Raquel Nelson. Vehicular manslaughter.......and she doesn't even own a vehicle!

Update: Raquel Nelson will get a new trial. I am very sorry for her loss.
