Unfortunately, not as good at it as I wish. Also not as good at it as certain republicans, ("birthers", a la Obama's birthplace) the entire Christian church, (the immaculate conception) the entire population during Columbus's life, (thinking the earth is flat) and Mitt Romney. (trying to force a mom in his church to give up her child because of her marital status....I'll post about it with a link later)
Sadly, I have had a certain amount of experience with Christians, Republicans, and whacky-assed fundamentalist "crossovers" from both groups, and they are better at pulling stuff out of their asses than I could ever hope to be. So good at it that I can only go with what I see and experience, and type it up in short, factual form. The truth can be quite jarring, as it is often a big surprise. It is almost always deeper, different, and more disappointing than the popular concepts pushed by and at the general population.
If you think Mitt Romney cares whether or not you or your children are educated and healthy, you are clearly wrong. A man who will not even educate his constituents about his emails while he "served" his contituents (keep in mind, those communiques BELONG to the people of Massachussetts, not to Romney) is much more likely to limit education than to promote it. He is, after all, limiting access to knowledge of what he was actually doing while in office, it stands to reason that he would limit access to knowledge about everything else, too. I wish there was something simple and short that I could pull out of my ass to describe the situation, like Bush Senior's "Read my lips, no new taxes", (how's that for pulling stuff out of the ass?) but there isn't. Romney is simply a liar, that's all.
