Is It Now Legal To Impede Law Enforcement?
Interesting. The Bundy Brothers and their entourage have been acquitted of any wrongdoing in the charges against them, stemming from their standoff with federal officers earlier this year, in Multnomah County, Oregon. For just under six weeks, Ammon Bundy and some of his family and friends engaged in a standoff with the federal government over the right to use land at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge for ranching. The Bundys thought ranching and all of the farm waste and trampling of plant life by cattle was in order for the wildlife refuge, and government officials told them to ranch elsewhere, preferably on their own property. They chose, instead, to threaten police with guns and stay there, making a giant mess, for over a month. Now they have been acquitted.
There are two reasons why this is outrageous. First; most people who threaten cops with guns end up either dead or serving prison sentences. Why is this group different, and why did a jury think threatening a cops with guns is okay? Second; Bundy and Company made a terrible mess. Below is a picture of part of the mess they left behind, when they were arrested in February of 2016.
Another question some people might ask is whether or not it is now legal to question authority in the ongoing conflict involving the Dakota Access Pipeline. On Thursday, police arrested 141 people, Native Americans and environmentalists, who protested in North Dakota because the crude oil pipeline will go through water supplies and burial sites. Police have been brutal toward protesters, regardless of whose land is involved. Why do the Bundy Brothers get to stage a standoff, while others cannot even exercise their first amendment rights?

Let Me Explain What I Said About Property Tax
In the Spring of 2016, I started sharing information on this site about the property taxes of the Marshall County attorney, Laura McNish. At present, all of the information about Marshall County, Kansas, and the taxes of property owners indicates that Ms. McNish is cheating when she files her property taxes. I have heard questions and opinions, both in person and in writing, to the effect that Ms. McNish cannot possibly do such a thing, but the facts and figures do not lie. Below is a screenshot of the county attorney's property tax information for the year 2015. Note that her residential property, in a completely residential neighborhood, in a place where farming is forbidden by the covenants, is listed as a farm, rather than a residence.
Now that you have had a chance to see Laura McNish's property taxes, you should be aware that all of her neighbors in the Keystone Addition are paying property taxes on residences, not farms. Also, for your viewing pleasure, I have included an excerpt from the covenants of the Keystone Addition, stating that agriculture and business are prohibited. So anyone can see that there is no legal way that Laura McNish, Esquire, can run a farm on her acre or so of lawn space around her house on Lot 114 in the Keystone Addition. Hopefully, this will answer everyone's questions about the posts on this site concerning possible tax fraud on the part of the Marshall County Attorney. Of course, this is only what we know about, so far. There may be more.
No one is above the law, and anyone who enforces the law should keep the law. This includes county attorneys in Kansas.

Donald Trump's Campaign Song
And now, here is the best possible campaign song for Donald Trump! He whined, during the final presidential debate, because his opponent pointed out that he complained because he didn't win an Emmy for The Apprentice, because the whole affair was "rigged"! In fact, Trump claims that anything that does not go his way is "rigged". While he probably won't win the presidential election, perhaps he can win an Emmy for his performance during all three debates.

Donald Trump And Live Microphones
Here's a clip of Donald Trump having a conversation, in 2005, near a live microphone. At the time, he probably didn't think his words mattered very much. After all, the words were only a verbal manifestation of Trump's thoughts, and of his desires of the moment. His judgement, which was kinda bad, was obviously not important to him at the time, because he thought that as a celebrity with money, he did not need integrity or an upstanding character. Apparently, he also did not think he was under any obligation to set a good example for his children. Now that he is trying to buy the White House, he says he's sorry. Why should we believe him? If he was truly sorry for all of his character flaws, wouldn't he have brought that up before now?
