I Suppose It's Palm Sunday
I know everyone has already seen this on Facebook, and I'm sure Jesus is very proud of those of you who go to church. Have some of you christian clergy supporters considered alternatively calling this "holy day" Rosy Palm Sunday, in commemoration of the body part priests should be exercising, along with common sense and decency, instead of abusing children?

Colton Ross Barrera Petition
Colton Ross Barrera did not return home on September 26, 2008. Since then, the case has faltered because of uninvestigated leads and uninterviewed witnesses. This petition is to request an update about the case from the Russell County Sheriff's Office in Kansas and from the Kansas Bureau of Investigations. It is also a request to turn the case over to the FBI. Please sign it and share it with everyone.

Noah Terry Thomas: Sad News
Noah Terry Thomas, of this post, was found earlier today, on his family's property. According to friends and neighbors, he was discovered in a sewer drain. This is not the outcome hoped for by so many. There will be a memorial service for Noah on Friday, March 27 at 8:00 PM at the Pearisburg Community Center, on the front lawn. The address is 1410 Wenonah Ave., Pearisburg, Virginia.
Thank You For Helping With The Trees
One of my Northeast Kansas neighbors wrote something rather special to me today, and here it is!
Sensing that this is not really about being thanked for hauling off trees, and I believe the person was actually thanked, I decided to write a response to the comment and include the post it followed, which is actually about Governor Sam Brownback and his contribution to education in Kansas. Had I known the names of all my neighbors, as I generally have in other places I have lived, my daughter and I would have baked some bread or cupcakes for the helpful soul who took the branches away and written a note. Seriously. I would have loved to do that, I just don't know many of my neighbors, at this point. Most of them are not terribly friendly, and when some of them favor such actions as following me home from the store to let me know they will burn my house down if I don't move away, going out of my way to meet more of them is a challenge. I know that does not represent every one of them, but experiences like that tend to stand out. It also illustrates more reasons to bring the "unified school districts" under state and federal control, rather than allowing local control by people who really just want to curse and threaten murder.
Here's what I told this person, in return:
So nice of you to respond in language that was, no doubt, taught and encouraged by USD 380! Jesus and your mother must be very proud!
I was not present when the tree was removed; if it was you, thank you. Seriously. That's still not a reason to write to me, using profanity. I don't think I know anyone like you, anywhere else but here. No one has ever thanked me for potty training an eight year old who had not been taught to use the bathroom by her frankfurter momma, or for teaching two six year olds how to talk; when I married their dad, their frankfurter mom had not taught them a darned thing. Within six months, they were proficient with the language, at a fifth grade level. My "lazy ass" may have cardiac problems brought on by thallesemia, (look it up; my hemoglobin was around 6 when it was diagnosed) but I bothered to teach my children and stepchildren how to use the language in this country. No small task in an isolated community where children are deliberately under socialized. All anyone ever wants to say to me, or to my husband about the fact that his children now achieve, rather than fail, are nasty things. Once again, people like you do not exist elsewhere on the planet, and that's a good thing.
I am so glad you know how to count. Yes, USD 380 does, indeed, have one school board. But learn to analyze numbers more efficiently, please. Marshall County has about 10,000 people within it's borders, and it really only needs one school board. It could probably use three or four small elementary schools, and either two middle schools or one junior high, depending on how the state would decide to manage the system, and one high school. That's all we need. We could offer all the students a better curriculum and better education, and we would save a lot of money. The state could see to it that no one who is unqualified even ran for a position on the school board, and we would all be following the same laws as the rest of the state and the nation. Pretty soon, Marshall County children might even be able to compete, academically, with children from other countries! None of you can now. You know why? Almost all of you, except the "illegals" you keep crying about, are MONOLINGUAL!
To bring geography, as well as mathematics, into this, allow me to also point out that USD 380 has one inefficient institution in Marshall County, and one inefficient institution in Nemaha County. It's much better for the students if all the schools within a school district are in the same county, following the same laws. That way, fewer of your children get away with taking guns and drugs to school.
Once again, if you were the one who helped with the tree, thank you. I do appreciate it. I don't know who people are yet, because no one has reached out to me in gestures of friendship yet, since I moved here in 2007, and when everyone looks so similar to everyone else (I mean that in the nicest way possible; I am used to more diversity) and no one even extends his or her hand in a handshake and says, "Glad to meet you, my name is______", it is hard to track down who is involved in what, in order to say thank you. Believe me, that has bothered me a lot. But there's no need to cuss anyone out over it.

When Children Do Not Come Home
Time does not erase the pain of people whose lives have been turned upside down by the disappearance or murders of children. Nor does it reduce or eliminate the need to search for the missing or establish protocols when children do not come home.
Tom Schroeder, guidance counselor of the public school in Frankfort Kansas, knowingly took a very big chance of creating such a heartbreak for a family in his school district when he dumped a fourteen year old girl off by herself for cross country practice, four miles away from the school. When she did not return, he shrugged his shoulders and went home and had dinner. The girl's family was told that is the protocol for Frankfort, Kansas when a child disappears. Luckily, the strangers who picked up Schroeder's victim just took her back to the town from which she had been taken.
Quite a few of the locals in Frankfort, Kansas either do not understand the heartbreak caused when a child disappears, or perhaps they do, and it was planned for this family. Either way, the crass reactions of Frankfort Kansas are unacceptable, from blaming the victim to deriding the mother for not "just letting it go."
The video above details a case that started forty years ago, in suburban Maryland. Two young girls, Sheila and Katherine Lyon, ten and twelve years old, simply disappeared one day, in 1975, on their way home from Wheaton Plaza. The event illustrated, quite painfully, that protocols and immediate responses from law enforcement are necessary when a child goes missing. In stranger abductions, such as the case of the Lyon sisters, the victim is usually dead within three hours, according the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The school board for Frankfort, USD 380, has expressed that it is comfortable with children accepting rides from strangers in order to return to school after having been left in random places by teachers.
Today marks the fortieth anniversary of the day that Sheila and Katherine Lyon disappeared. Hopefully, the newer avenues of investigation into the case will bring answers for their parents, John and Mary Lyon. Certainly, no further explanation should be needed by Frankfort, Kansas concerning why Tom Schroeder's actions toward the student he abandoned were criminal. If it was done deliberately, Frankfort High School should just accept the fact that the young lady finally came home safely, despite their criminal attempts, and leave the family alone.

Noah Terry Thomas Missing In Virginia
This little boy, Noah Terry Thomas, disappeared this morning in Pulaski County, Virginia. He is five years old, and was last seen at his home at around 9:00 AM. He had on a camouflage raincoat. The police have been looking all over for him; if you see him or know anything at all about his whereabouts, would you please call the number on the poster above and tell someone? And feel free to share this picture everywhere, until the little guy is found.

Patricia Welch As A Resident Agent
Hey Patricia Welch, how come you're such a big, fat liar? Who the hell did you think you were when you didn't want to help find two missing children? And why is covering for adults more important? Here's another question, you dumb bitch; what was really going on when you served as a "resident agent" for L. Engleking Inc.? Was your friend from Florida really a plumber, or was that just a ruse, so that he could get inside the homes of people who have children, in order to post their pictures on Facebook? Isn't that why your friend's son is in prison now?
You know, you are married to a "person of interest" in a high profile missing persons case involving two children, Sheila and Katherine Lyon, and your nephew is a person of interest in the same case. Your employment history also involves working with someone who is currently serving time in federal prison for child pornography and human trafficking! Was your home daycare used for something similar?
Hopefully, you'll be savvy enough to tell the truth in court on April 27, when you go to court in Bedford County, Virginia. While you certainly come across as a bimbo who thinks she's exempt from the law, you do not appear to be the type who would make it in prison. Short of definite answers about all this, you can expect to see more details, such as the ones in this post, splashed all over the internet. Quite a few people already hope that you will go from being a "resident agent" for a kiddie porn creep to being a resident in the pokey, so you should really find a way to start telling the truth in court.

Resume Of A Kansas Youth Pastor
In November of last year, a Northeast Kansas youth pastor by the name of James Bugbee was arrested for sexual assault of a minor. For reasons only known to the shadow, this matter only got nominal notice and coverage from local media, and a lot of people in Northeast Kansas are unaware that a youth pastor of Washington Christian Church in Kansas went to court for molesting a child. Last week, he was sentenced to sixty-four months, with credit for time served since his arrest. This garnered even less attention in the news. Fortunately, the court was more impressed than the media with Reverend Bugbee's accomplishments. Sixty-four months is the longest sentence with which a first time offender can be sentenced for this crime in Kansas. But shouldn't all the churches be proud enough of Reverend Bugbee to announce his evangelical talents everywhere? Should parents in Washington County Kansas and surrounding areas have a chance to peruse his resume in the sex offender registry prior to allowing children to attend church?

Make Love Not War
Hey Melissa Kennedy, why not send your own children? Or is the actual conflict between spiritual beliefs and tyranny, justice and evil, life and death, and love and violence only for the children of others?

What Are They Teaching In Kansas Schools?
A couple of years ago, I confronted Dean Dalinghaus, principal of Frankfort School, in Frankfort Kansas, about his practice of allowing anyone at all, friend or foe, or unknown person, for that matter; to enter the school and wander the hallways and classrooms at will, no questions asked. Most schools do not allow this for obvious reasons, connected to safety of students and faculty. Dalinghaus rudely asked me if I wanted him to install a metal detector, like "inner city" schools.
Funny, Deanie-Boy should mention metal detectors. While metal detectors will not help him as much as a simple sign-in list with his strangers and the boogyman entering the building at will, a metal detector can be very useful when strangers, teachers, the boogyman, or students, particularly those already on probation, bring guns to school. A couple of months ago, the secretary in the superintendent's office at USD 380, Frankfort's district, telephoned the county prosecutor in hopes of having your faithful blogger arrested (!!!!) for complaining about the inordinate number of children with criminal records in Frankfort High School and requesting that USD 380 do more to protect the children who are not interested in crime. How is that for pressure and fear-mongering when someone steps forward with the truth? Mrs. Secretary was disappointed when she was told that it is not a crime to complain about crime in public schools. (where's the eye-rolley when I need it?)
As it turns out, the question was well placed. Not only is Frankfort High School a place where children feel free to drink underage and use recreational drugs, Frankfort High School is also a place where children feel quite free to express infantile rage (possibly escalated by inept and unqualified staff?) to the point of police presence in the school itself, and.....resulting in an arrest of yet another child, boosting the percentage of Frankfort students with resumes at the courthouse. I refer to an incident that happened about a month ago, involving a sophomore. Somehow, it seems that Deanie-Boy Dalinghaus could have managed the incident differently, if he really cared about any of the students; this child did not have a weapon. But back to metal detectors: last week, a senior, who is already on probation for other crimes, was arrested for taking a gun to Frankfort School. Two arrests on the campus in a month's time, one involving a weapon. Wow. In a school that only has about one hundred and fifty children from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
I forgot to mention that the senior was also arrested for drugs. Could the creation of a distraction be the real reason the superintendent's secretary wanted to fan as many flames as possible against yours truly, when yours truly wanted Frankfort High School to straighten up and fly right, for a change?

Will Pat Roberts Please Shut Up?
An open letter from Pat Roberts, (R-Ks) Jerry Moran, (R-Ks) and et els, to another country, concerning matters of state, in defiance of the White House......yet another reason Kansas republicans do NOT deserve respect! President Obama does not need the likes of Pat Retard and Jerry Moron to undermine his efforts at diplomatic conversations with Iran about war! It seems that Republicans think that keeping the Middle East in as much military conflict as possible, rather than solutions that involve peace, or at least holding back, on war, is better for the world, and for the United States, than peace. The more bloodshed, the happier Roberts will be. Hopefully, his former Kansas page, who supports him ad nauseam, will pick up arms and join in! Or are Republicans only supportive of military actions and bloodshed that do not involve their own?
This may or may not be a direct and clear example of treason, per se. There are arguments circulating the web, at this moment, suggesting that the United States indict the morons who drafted this letter. While most of the supporters of the Kansas representatives who signed this letter only support the First Amendment in cases involving their own protected speech, setting a precedent for prosecutions of treason is a serious matter. This country is seriously divided over some very petty things, and the supporters of Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran voted according to petty feelings surrounding the race of one of President Obama's parents, rather than any agenda, even of treason. Perhaps the more intellectual, thinking citizens in Kansas, if not outnumbered by insane racists, could lead an effort to recall Roberts and Moran and install more intelligent fair minded types.
The real problem with gestures such as this is that it shows America's potential enemies, worldwide, the weaknesses that can be exploited at home. The fact that Americans are actually stupid enough to be divided for racist reasons has become not only an embarrassment, but an actual defense problem. While citizens are bickering, attempting to dress up ugly, racist opinions about their president in the most politically correct garb they can find for their nonsensical horror and make themselves appear "christian", a`la the new testament, any enemy the nation has can clearly see that the division extends all the way to Congress, the Senate, and challenges the White House. Is this helpful in terms of defense, or does this put those who volunteer to defend our country in unnecessary danger? Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran, by signing that stupid letter, have inched, or maybe lurched, our country closer to another war. Do we need this? Think about it, Kansas, and stfu.

Washington Children Ruin Kidnapper's Day
Yesterday, in Sprague, Washington, a babysitter allowed three small children to play in a park by themselves. The youngest, twenty-two month old Owen Wright, was grabbed out of his stroller by a stranger! His older brother and sister gave chase, screaming for help as they went. Some teenagers in a car drove by and joined the chase, and the child snatching creep put the baby down.
Owen Wright is safe now, but police were unsuccessful in nabbing the kidnapper. Below are two stills, culled from surveillance footage from a nearby grocery store, which show the man's face. He is said to be about 6' 2", and about thirty to thirty-five years old. If you know him, please ruin his day even more and call the police department in Sprague at 509-477-3300.
Update: A fifteen year old kid has been arrested and identified in a line-up in connection to this crime.

Selma To Montgomery, Fifty Years Ago
On the eve of the fiftieth anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the march from Selma to Montgomery Alabama by blacks to protest the unconstitutional interference in their voting rights by whites, what would a girl in Kansas have on her mind, besides Kris Kobach? From it's role as a (ahem) DEFENDANT in Brown v. the Board of Education in Topeka, 1956 to Secretary of State Kris Kobach's continued disenfranchisement of Kansas voters, it appears that bigotry is still alive and well in the Midwest.

Can Kansas Find Someone Better Than Kris Kobach?
A couple of days ago, the Department of Justice published it's findings that police in the St. Louis, Missouri area do, indeed, have a tendency to ignore the constitutional rights of African Americans. This, naturally, did not brighten Kris Kobach's day. What it has to do with immigration is beyond the imagination of yours truly, but somehow, a gentle listener of some silly-assed conservative radio show has manufactured a connection and called in to share it with Kobach, and he packaged it, without proving it. He put it all together, verbally, in a way that promotes racism and misinformation as usual. Is there anyone who can serve as secretary of state in Kansas without ignoring the constitution and telling not only bold faced lies, but presenting fantasy as truth? This notion that African Americans will cease to face prosecution for any crime may actually serve as proof that Kobach is certifiable and in need of treatment for delusions.

Minnesota Minister No Longer On The Lam
Minnesota decided to find out what the rumors and claims of abuse surrounding Reverend Barnard were all about in 2012, but the good reverend moved his pimping operation to the state of Washington. At that point, it became national affair, rather than merely limited to Minnesota, so the FBI got involved. When enablers of the reverend "annunciated" to him that authorities were still hot on his trail, he picked up and moved to Brazil. It appears that his happened last year, but the story is still unfolding. Interpol got involved, and he was caught in Rio Grande last week, with a Brazilian enabler.
What is it, about Jesus, that makes his legend and persona so convenient for sex offenders and child abusers? And why don't they carry on their abuse with people their own ages, in a safe, sane, and consensual manner? What is it, about these clerical authority figures, that drives them to seek out relationships and isolated encounters with victims, rather than finding willing partners? Is it more holy, according to christian doctrines, to defile one's self with an unwilling child, and either ruin the child's life or kill the child, than it is to just admit that one is a pervert and find an equally corrupt adult? And what's with these parents who allow this crap, and don't put a stop to it when they discover it? Why would anyone cover for these people? Don't they love their children? One might accuse Barnard of starting a cult, but is this story unique to his operation? John Walsh covered it, and the media also made Barnard famous, but there have been so many reports lately involving clergy gone wild that we can no longer ignore the fact that Judeo-Christian religions somehow attract and propagate filth.
How can parents of clerically abused children continue to send them to church? When does enough become enough? Are social connections to abusers that important to these dumbass parents? Are the courts really deaf to the complaints of victims, particularly when voiced in unison? And even if the courts don't care, is it really that hard for an individual parent to look at the socially approved crime objectively and keep children away from it?
