This was taken from Cranford's Facebook page. It seems that all too often, sexual predators pull this very idea off, even in court. It's refreshing to see that Cranford will be out of circulation for awhile. Frankfort School in Northeast Kansas will probably offer him a teaching position after he serves his time.

Actually he is not a reverend, he is a vicar, big difference. A vicar is studying to be a reverend or pastor, but are not ordained. Hugh was studying at the seminary, and was not a called pastor as the term reverend applies. Just wanted to point that out.
Hopefully, you can overlook my lack of experience with Christianity, here. I looked up the term, and discovered that inasmuch as Christian clergy in concerned, the word means different things to different denominations. Having only personally met Anglican ministers with that title, I had no idea that American Lutherans would use the title in a different way. I do believe my point still stands, however; abuse of position and trust is sickening, and I truly despise those around all of us who would attempt to bully us into accepting such abuse.
Do you have any current info on this case I actually grew up with this guy in church in Texas.
According to the Kansas Department of Corrections website, he is in Lansing CF East, and his earliest release date is October 20 of next year. He will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Poor kids he messed up if only their hurt would go away in 4 years. Thanks for the update.
