In Case You Skipped Church This Sunday

This was on Facebook the other day. So I stole it, to make a point. If you were not in church for some reason, woe is you! Wanna know why?

Because you might not get laid tonight. Christian Mingle has nothing to do with anything! You meet some of your best lovers in church!

Laura McNish Is A Social Media Whore

The rumor persists, in Marshall County Kansas, that the county prosecutor, Laura McNish, is overworked. In order to lay this silly notion to rest, this site has published this post, and this post, in the past. Laura McNish has people arrested for personal slights, uses local and county police forces to intimidate defense witnesses, then sits on the internet all day long at the courthouse, perusing social media websites.

The above referenced entries involve the prosecutor's unbalanced interest in someone she had arrested for "obstruction of justice", and whose charges have since been dismissed with prejudice. While other cases involving actual crime linger in her backlog of neglected cases, quite possibly due to her lack of legal expertise and courtroom finesse, Laura McNish sits before a computer all day long, looking furiously for something on Facebook or Google that she can use against a defense witness whose charges were manufactured exclusively to suit an imaginary scenario and whose bond was less than one hundred dollars. This is most likely why she had the witness arrested; because SOMEONE instructed law enforcement to ensure that the same witness be in the emergency room on the trial date, from injuries or autoimmune reactions, if jail was not a possibility, instead of testifying in favor of the defense.

In another case, Laura McNish, Esquire, also stated in court that she spoke with an alleged domestic violence victim "almost every day". She used a soft and lilting voice to breath this boldface lie to the judge. Upon hearing about it, the alleged victim could not even remember Laura's name, because she had only met Laura once, and had never heard from her after that! Perhaps what the county's counsel really meant was the she looked at Facebook "almost every day"!

Thankyou For Hearing Me

Many Thankyou's to those who went before me, creating a Path. I always know when you are close by, and I always know my prayers have been heard.

Private Message

I have some very bad news for a certain welfare recipient. It was in the paper this morning! It seems you may no longer be free to collect certain benefits within a certain, Midwestern state and continue to move from place to place without employment. An honest effort to secure gainful employment will very likely be required in the near future, as the only reason it was not required was a waiver which was granted to the state. Quite a few of us know that the real reason you never settle down is an attempt to avoid having your welfare benefits stopped when you refuse to go to work anywhere. It's easier to hitchhike to a different state, and try to collect benefits there, isn't it? Kansas isn't gonna let you do it anymore. Enjoy job hunting!

How To File An Official Complaint About Laura Johnson McNish

Laura Johnson McNish is the county attorney for Marshall County, Kansas. During the past three years that she has served in this post, she has violated the civil rights and personal rights of many Kansas citizens and has ignored the law, favoring bullying tactics over courtroom skill. Verbal complaints about her performance can be found and heard all over Marshall County, but quite a few citizens do not realize that they can file a complaint, very easily, with the Kansas Bar Association. Here is a link to the official Complaint Form provided by the Kansas Bar Association. It is easy to fill out, and when you are finished, all you have to do is print it, sign it, and send the hard copy via snail mail to:

              Kansas Bar Association,
              Stanton A. Hazlatt,
              Disciplinary Administrator,
              701 Jackson Street, 1st Floor
              Topeka, Kansas, 66603-3729

Complaints, especially in large numbers, are taken very seriously by state bar associations. Anyone who writes a letter when an official abuses authority is doing the rest of the community a favor. No one should have to suffer injustice, justice denied, or abuses of a prosecuting attorney. Also, a prosecutor should not use the time and resources of the taxpayers for personal revenge, while the actual needs of the taxpayers get ignored. Writing a letter of complaint to the Bar Association does not confer a negative label to the writer, it simply means that the writer cares about community, and wishes to correct inbalence within the government structure, such as it is.

The Marysville Advocate, The Nice Newspaper

There was a jury trial that lasted all day in Marysville, yesterday. The defendant, Keith Henry, was found not guilty on all charges. Since a jury trial is rather unusual in Marshall County, how come the Marysville Advocate has not given this much notice? There are always headlines in the Advocate when a defendant loses; why not when Justice speaks by exonerating someone who is not guilty? In fact, why isn't there ever much coverage of anything controversial in the Marysville Advocate? From the Keystone Pipeline to one of the school districts on the verge of losing financial solvency, (USD 380) there are certainly enough "good" topics involving Marshall County and Northeast Kansas about which to begin a constructive conversation. Instead, the Marysville Advocate only publishes articles about subjects that are "nice", and won't stir up much of a reaction from it's readers.

Yaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwn! Are Nice and Good the same thing?

The staff at the Marysville Advocate should be ashamed of their willingness to smear an innocent person and let the truth go unheralded when that person is exonerated by a jury of his peers. Reporting when the county prosecutor gets her posterior parts handed to her on a platter actually makes better reading than the redundant guilty verdicts, and would serve to force the prosecutor to be more honest and professional and less likely to play on the internet all day.

Congratulations, Keith!

Your County Prosecutor Might Have An Ethics Problem If

Your county prosecutor might have an ethics problem if:

►She cherry picks juries to consist of close friends and relatives of plaintiff.

►She knowingly charges people with crimes they did not commit.

►She falsely claims she does not have evidence that she does, indeed, possess when discovery is requested, only to reveal, at trial, that she has the very same evidence, and has had it all along.

►She targets random people by calling as many of their friends and associates as she can find, threatening them with legal action if they continue friendship with her "target".

►She continuously becomes entangled in cases from which she has been recused due to conflicts of interest.

►She bribes witnesses or threatens witnesses, depending on her needs, in order to compensate for her lack of litigation skills.

►She spends all day on Facebook and other social media sites, while sitting in her taxpayer funded office.

►She attempts to bias judges using information unconnected to any case from said social media sites.

►She orders law enforcement to refrain from arresting underage drinkers who are prosecution witnesses in current cases she wants to try.

►She destroys her own property in order to gain attention and sympathy.

►She blatantly lies in court.

►She uses law enforcement as her personal goons, while others need law enforcement for legitimate reasons.

►She attempts to use federal law enforcement agencies to attempt stop malcontents from photoshopping her picture.

►She does not understand the first amendment.

►She instructs local law enforcement to use violence against victims of domestic violence, in order to ensure that they will testify.

►She threatens the security of children in order ensure that mothers will testify, or testify falsely, to suit her agenda.

►Her prejudiced tendencies interfere with her judgment, her job performance, and her ability to be impartial and fair.

All of those flaws are symptoms of two major problems when found in elected prosecutors. Obviously, any fighter who resorts to dirty or dishonorable means in order to win does so because he is either not entitled to the title of "winner", or unskilled and unequipped badly enough to lose in any skirmish. Both are disconcerting in a county or district attorney. Another problem that should not be overlooked by voters in a locale wherein such persons as prosecutors are elected is the moral issue. Remember what rolls downhill? This happens when corrupt and dishonest officials at the top run rampant, unchecked. It is bad enough when a dishonest congressman or senator is bought, but a county prosecutor can be used by rich and prominent bullies within a community to harm and ruin the lives of those who are not wealthy enough, or otherwise equipped, to stand up for themselves. Such officials are bad for the communities the allegedly serve.

There IS help for such individuals. The help often comes in the form of an official complaint to the bar association. In the event that your county attorney is elected, help can also come in the form of a recall or an impeachment, should the bar association take it's sweet time to pull the license of such an individual. Help also can come in the form of a lost election, should an opponent and informed voters prevail. Chronic failures in personal and professional ethics on the parts of elected officials, especially within law enforcement and the court system, are serious. The community should not ignore it.
