This is what the minister of a certain Christian Church in a certain Northeast Kansas town says to defend her congregation when they drink, serve booze to minors, let those minors drive around drunk without licenses, embezzle, take guns to school, embezzle money from their employers, perjure themselves in court, assault children, and lots of other things that she should really encourage her christian flock to stop doing.

A Camera Is The Best Weapon

Cameras. Those darn things pop up everywhere, don't they? Yesterday's police used to be able to get away with presenting their side of any story, practically unchallenged, without question. Today, with the advent of inexpensive home security cameras switched on at random times, business surveillance, satellites, digital cameras of all grades and price ranges, and of course, those pesky cell phones, ever in the hands of nosy, trouble-making bystanders, lying with impunity has gotten more complicated! What's a cop to do? Especially when his own surveillance tells a different story than he tells? Even the Google cameras aren't always a policeman's friend!

This Chicago forty-seven year old woman, arrested for DWI when she fell asleep behind the wheel, got picked up and thrown into a cell, as you can plainly see in the video, by a cop about twice her size. He tried to accuse her of "resisting arrest", but the camera tells a different story. Hopefully, he will be "guided" by the same judicial system to choose a different career, as he has shown that he clearly has the potential to cost the taxpayers in Illinois much more than his salary.

That "resisting arrest" line was once a cop's free ticket to violence. In fact, not only cops, but many a person not desirous of just dealings, particularly in small towns, would use the old "she cussed at me", or "he lost his temper and got upset" routine in order to justify not doing the right thing, whatever that may have been, depending on circumstances. Yours truly recently received a bill for monies she did not owe, and upon contesting the bill, was told to "pay it anyways, because that's what everyone else does"! Yours truly had no intention of doing any such thing, and eventually got an attorney involved, but what do you suppose was said by the person to whom she presented the error? You probably guessed correctly: "she got angry and swore at me, boohoohoo.....my poor little ears have never heard such things, and my poor little innards are so offended!" The truth is, I never even raised my voice. I simply stated that the bill was incorrect, and told the person why it was incorrect. Because I was on speakerphone, others in my immediate surroundings heard the conversation and know exactly what I said, which is not what the Northeast Kansas woman at the other end of the phone wanted others to believe I said. She wanted the carte blanche to say I said other things, which I did not say; and to be believed, unquestioned, just because she is a white, Northeast Kansas, Christian thingamajigger who has always gotten her own way, even when grossly attempting to get over on others. Technology has taken away this carte blanche.

Getting those who are accustomed to misrepresenting the truth accustomed, instead, to the reality of cameras and other technology will be an interesting task during the twenty-first century.

Mom And Dad Fight Back

This video features Russian immigrant parents who live in California, and have a sick baby, who has had heart surgery. The mother was concerned about her baby's care, and transferred him to a different hospital. Then, after the baby was discharged from the second hospital, the first hospital sent child protective services to visit the parents! Child protective services took a bunch of arrogant cops along, and one of them even began to pull his gun out of the holster when the mother asked to see a warrant for the visit. Then  they proceeded to grab the baby and take him to an undisclosed location, telling the mother that it was "irrational" for her to want to know where! Now a lawsuit has been filed against child protective services and the hospital.

Meanwhile, back in Northeast Kansas, a young couple who happen to be the parents of two active toddlers recently got a knock on their door from child protective services. The couple told child protective services that they wanted to see the warrant before they came inside the house. The social worker did not have a warrant, but pretended to call someone, to get a warrant. Unfortunately, the couple fell for the bluff, and it most certainly WAS a bluff; no judge in his right mind would actually grant a warrant for the reason child protective services visited this family. It seems that someone had called child protective services on these parents because their children often go about barefoot!

What really happened in the "case of the barefoot children" was that someone felt like picking on the childrens' parents and called child protective services. Child protective services knew that this couple is not rich, and as they are both very young, possibly did not know their rights. Also, the family is white, and many perspective adoptive parents ask specifically for white babies and toddlers. Had Kansas gone ahead and snatched those children, their parents may never have seen them again. It's a big moneymaker in Kansas. And that's why certain teachers and school administrators should really stop calling child protective services every time they decide they do not like a parent. Since Affirmative Action is almost meaningless in Kansas, most of the chronic CPS callers are white, and have white children. And since white children are exactly for whom most perspective adoptive parents in Kansas place orders, guess who could also be targeted......? That's right; the next time a fair skinned blond child belonging to a chronic CPS caller gets a sunburn, or plays in the park or in the street unattended, as per the habit of Northeast Kansas, the parents of the barefoot toddlers may pick up their phone! After all, if it works for one vindictive jerk, it can work for another. Income, age, education, and experience with life may or may not make a difference if you enrage innocent parents enough by attempting to engage child protective services because the parents change health care providers or allow their children to go barefoot. It's only a phone call.

 

Blown Away And Back In Place

One day in the future, if there is ever enough genetic variance in Northeast Kansas to foster critical thinking among the population, public school will be consolidated. This will be very helpful in creating a curriculum with more and better choices; some of which, a college bound student may need, but not be able to take at present...thanks to the disorganized and haphazard approach taken by the stubborn, not-so-bright folks who occupy the school boards in Northeast Kansas. Of course, the less biased and more competent direction provided by a qualified, more centralized school board would mean that Kansas children would be required to stop taking guns to school after hunting, and also that Brown vs. The Board Of Education may finally become law in Kansas. On a related note, a "unified" school district in Marshall County just lost five students because school faculty was unable to act professional and respectful to parents who wanted their children to learn. One would think, amid all the whining about declining enrollment and all the outright fear in the face of consolidation of Kansas schools, that parents of large families would be treated with respect! Because there ARE other options, USD 380!

It seems that some people in Northeast Kansas do not understand the role of cameras, google maps, surveillance, traffic light cameras, and the occasional cell phone picture that accidently includes a bit of stray scenery in the form of a home, lawn, or face belonging to anyone at all! Satellites operate cameras which can hone in on scenery with amazing detail, and pictures taken at traffic lights can often read license plates and pick up on other subtle details. Life is no longer private; but then, a picture always WAS worth a thousand words!

 

Bully, Bully In The Hall

Anyone with unwarranted curiosity about yours truly, or family of same, should come to yours truly with questions, not to friends and associates. Especially not to clergy; in my tradition, such crass and unfriendly advances are not taken kindly. This should give the person who did that something to think about.

As for unlawful and false testimony, the person who has foolishly decided to go forward with matters from which he was advised to abstain should be aware that the louder he becomes with lies, the louder I will become with the truth. A good school administrator does not allow a guidance counselor to transport a student four miles away from the school and forget about the student, resulting in an unreported missing persons case. This is child abuse, and it was swept under the rug, with deliberate lies, fabricated to protect a person whose employment at the school should have been terminated. And yes, there are witnesses that the same guidance counselor entertained underage female students in his home after school was dismissed, and also bought cigarettes for one of them. There are eyewitnesses, Dean, and eyewitnesses that you have been informed; so don't even try. The best thing to do is just tell the truth about your unqualified staff member and stop trying to harm those whom you simply, on a whim, don't like. Outside of Frankfort, and away from Frankfort School, there are lots and lots of people. Some of them are people you might like, some of them, you might not. You can't always deal with those you don't happen to like by using bully tactics.

Not only have I enrolled my children elsewhere for the upcoming school year, I have gone to even more agencies concerning Tom Schroeder's abuse of my daughter during her freshman year of high school. I am making good on a promise I made, a couple of years ago, to a troll, that every time someone protests my public statements about Tom Schroeder's unprofessional and dangerous conduct, I would make Tom's professional failings more and more public. Well, I'm doing it. I legally can, since it can be proven, via eyewitnesses and sworn statements, that it happened. Don't expect to impune the innocent and exonerate the guilty, bullying adults in much the same way as you bully the less popular children; I will not allow you to manipulate the justice system that way, especially after all the nauseating Christianity you spewed.

By the way, you were told abut the guns that come to your school; yet you did nothing about it, Dean. How come? You do know that it isn't legal to take guns to school, don't you? Here's a clue, Dean; the mom who ingratiates herself to you and to various members of your faculty the most probably would not have wanted you or anyone else to look in her son's vehicle during hunting season. Stop putting the cute club ahead of student safety.

 

Once again, if you really want to talk to me, talk to me. Don't use fake names and try to pry information from others.

Child Protective Services And Investigation Of Teachers

What happens when a teacher or a school administrator gets investigated by Child Protective Services in his or her state? Does the teacher still remain employed at the school? Then, if enough information is verified to justify substantiation for some transgression or other, what is the procedure? Does Northeast Kansas move in favor of protecting the children, or does Northeast Kansas just employ politics as usual? Just questions, that's all. Bear in mind, if a parent "lost" a child during school hours in an undisclosed location four miles away from the school of the child's attendance, the parent would never hear the end of it, even in Northeast Kansas.

Very Smart School Board Decision

 

A Jackson County, Ohio middle school used to have a stupid looking, White-Jesus picture hanging from a railing on a staircase, until the American Civil Liberties Union and the Freedom From Religion Foundation sued the school on behalf of the more intelligent parents and students to take the offensive thing down. The superintendent of Jackson County Schools pointed out that the school insurance company refused to insure the school against lawsuits inspired by the subtle expression of a preference for one religion over another, so he removed it. That was very smart. It's too bad Northeast Kansas schools will not learn a lesson about lawsuits, insurance to cover damages won by parties with reasons to sue the occasional erring school, and the dumb shit fundamentalist Christian teachers and administrators often do to encourage lawsuits.

Question Of The Day

What do you call a single, male, high school guidance counselor whose female students answer the landline at his home, where he lives alone, several hours after school is dismissed? Here in Northeast Kansas, we call him "Tom", because he tells students to address him by his first name!

If you were not in church this Sunday in northeast Kansas, perhaps you were outside drinking lemonade across the street! Five year old Jayden Sink, daughter of Jon Sink, of Freshcassette-Creative Compassion, decided to set up a lemonade stand at the Equality House, directly across the street from Westboro Baptist Church. She is donating the proceeds of her enterprise to Planting Peace, a group which promotes environmentalism and non-biased charity. The northeast Kansas Christians at Westboro Baptist Church called the cops on her. When they responded by buying lemonade, they cussed her out and harassed her, after the manner of other northeast Kansas Christians. She remained undaunted, though. The times, they are a'changin', Kansas!

Amazing. Oklahoma City gets an F-5 tornado, and the very best Westboro Baptist Church can do is pull out their signs and threaten to picket. Gotta love Christianity in Northeast Kansas......NOT! Fred Phelps and Company threatened to picket in Oklahoma today, insisting that "God" sent the tornado to kill people because of Jason Collins's relationship choices. They apparently did not show, frightened away by the patiently waiting bikers.

Lately, I've been shaking my head at the silly-assed notions of naive, Northeast Kansas, fundamental Christians. Their unquestioning acceptance of an unnecessary messiah from a completely unfamiliar culture for unexplained reasons remains a mystery and a travesty of rational thought to this blogger. If I were to nominate a random Jewish guy for the position of Messiah, it would certainly not be Jesus Christ, or Yeshua; it would be Abbie Hoffman. But then, that idea is actually not original to yours truly. The yearly festival known as Abbiefest showcases drama productions of up-and-coming talent and uses the catchy descriptive phrase: "Abbie Hoffman Died For Our Sins"!

Why did Abbie Hoffman die for our sins? What, exactly, are our sins, as a nation, here in America? Why has any revolutionary of distinction died for our national hypocrisy and complacency? These are questions that our schools are not even teaching our young people to consider. In fact, the young and foolish principal of a certain Northeast Kansas school specifically told me that he does not remind children of their fourth amendment rights when government officials overstep constitutional bounderies and use the school as a forum for evidence and information gathering concerning matters not connected to the school. Interesting......this is NOT what I pay for, via my taxes! It is one of the sins for which many of our leaders, revolutionaries, and military heros, ever since the Revolutionary War, have shed blood and died.

Take a good, long look at the uses of law enforcement to control the general population in recent years. The Christian churches, along with the fairy tale icons they employ, are no longer effective in controlling the masses, so now the government is using police intimidation to scare and control Americans at large. While Jesus Christ did not die for anyone's sins, Abbie Hoffman certainly went out of his way to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable!

 

 

A Person Who Likes Abusive Cops

"You need to pack up and leave town.... there is surely there is a place for you, but it's definitely not here! You add nothing to the community"........This is part of a comment left for me under this post, concerning police brutality and abuses of authority. I can only assume that this person, whose IP number revealed an address and identity of someone from whom better demeanor than anonymous threats is expected, was in approval of the police coming to my house and battering me because a county attorney did not like my testimony concerning a case she wanted to win. There was more to the comment than I have reproduced here, but the commenter proceeded to attack my family in the rest of it, so I cut it short of the mention of the others in my home. All I am willing to say about that part of it is this: my husband is one of the best neighbors you could ever have; if you want to be a creep to him and the rest of our family, it is certainly your loss, not ours. As for this person's approval of law enforcement battering an older woman because of her penchant for the truth and justice, it reaffirms the opinion I have had of this Northeast Kansas community for quite some time. I can live anywhere I choose in MY country. I am also entitled to my Fourth Amendment rights, as those who disregarded them are about to discover. It is not up to any dingbat Northeast Kansas, undersocialized, WestboroBaptistChurchMember lookalike to determine where I can live. And it does not matter if I stay or go; the county will still be held accountable for the injustices done to yours truly and family.

Someone else had a few words to mince with this person, and those go as follows:

 "You won't get past me. I am all over this situation.And I am a force to avoid. Believe it.You see, you ignorant fool, I am protected by ten-thousand angels. Yes, I am. And I will gladly send ten-thousand demons after YOU.I know all about your threats. I know what you are trying to pull here and I'm warning you...it will never happen.Juli and Keith are my friends. You don't mess with my friends. I am on the West Coast, right now and that is working to my advantage. And I am totally capable of contacting the right people if you so much as stare at my friends the wrong way.If you are involved in the County government or affiliated with law enforcement, you better watch your step. Because right now, I am watching YOU. I and several other key people are keeping a sharp eye on what is transpiring in Frankfort and in Marysville, Kansas. And if you get stupid (more than you already are)and step out of line, I guarantee that you will OFFICIALLY regret it."

This is but one of many messages I have gotton from quite a few different parts of the country about this situation. It seems that abuses of citizens by law enforcement and the rest of the judicial community have touched a raw nerve in the population's collective subconscious. I had no idea how many people would react to the pictures of the contusions left on me by that Marshall County Undersheriff, and I had no idea how emotional of an impact the situation could and would make. Please believe me, person who approves of police brutality, most people who share our nation are not happy about things like this. And the Constution is clear: I am under no obligation to be a clone of you, or of the congregation of Westboro Baptist Church, in order to enforce and enjoy my Fourth Amendment rights. If my insistence upon equality and respect is why you think I "add nothing" to this community, you need to realize that the most beautiful people in the world do not look anything like you. In fact, your comment, in connection with your particular role in frankfurter stand village, has nudged the school district just a little bit closer to consolidation. Hey Hartner; how often do you visit the homes of teenage girls and tell them you will assist them in becoming emancipated minors? And why would you do this? Emancipated or not, a child is still technically not old enough to consume alcohol, and a child is still technically not old enough to "consent". And are you in the habit of making statements like this, "hey adkins how about i kill you if you get on my computer again" on sites like Facebook? You probably did not really mean it, but it was a careless thing to say.

When you treated me like garbage the other night, and when you allowed the mother of immoral cretins to harass me, despite the sheriff's assurance that I am not required any interaction with her, you sided with someone who hosted a sexual assualt on one of my children. I did not hear about the incident until it was too late to get the police involved, but in view of the recent guilty verdicts for rape in Steubenville, Ohio, I think I should be more open with everyone about what and who you support. The female inhabitant of the house pictured below might be a better political choice of allies here in this fornicating Christian town, because she probably has the genetic feature of hinges on her thighs, after the manner of other women from this town, but you once raked me over the coals about how you have the right to preach your Christian religion to my children at school. If that's really the case, and you are really a Christian, you should not have been so kind and favorable to a woman who never supervises the children at her home and allows young girls to experience sexual assualt on her watch. For that reason, and because you lied to me about what the police told you on the phone about this woman, I am calling you a liar. Don't ever preach to me about your dumbass church again.

 

You know something, Diana? I am probably the only woman in this town who is not a Christian, and I am also probably the only mother of teenagers in this town whose children are not sexually active.

Northeast Kansas should really consider sobering up. A Christian drug dealer who commits violent crimes is more welcome in Kansas public schools than a Pagan or an athiest who is law abiding, patriotic, and always caring for children.
