Dr. Phil Will Discuss The Kyron Horman Case

On Tuesday, September 17, Dr. Phil will cover the Kyron Horman case on his show. Kyron Horman has been missing since June 4, 2010, when he disappeared during a science fair at his school, Skyline Elementary, in Portland, Oregon. The last known person to see Kyron was his stepmother, Terri Horman, who is soon to become his ex stepmother. His age progressed picture and the number to contact, should anyone see him or know his whereabouts, appears above. Hopefully, the new attention and publicity will bring the awareness and cooperation that will solve this case. No child or family deserves this.

Juli, As you know I came accross your blog following the Kyron Horman case as well as meeting Ruthie. I have read and prayed and searched the internet and looked at every little boy that has crossed my path since I first saw his sweet face on T.V. He has touched a million people and scared a million parents. He could be any of our children. Its one of the saddest and scariest things I can think of. I immediately thought Terri, his stepmother did this. After what I've read lately,. It seems almost impossible that she would parent and love him more than anyone in his life and snap one day. Im just curious as to your thoughts/insights on it? I think you are playing with a full deck(no pun intended lol) and perhaps have better intuition that the rest of us. Do you think she may actually BE innocent??If you would rather not speculate I understand, or you can email me. This one just BOTHERS ME in ways I cant even understand!:(

No; I don't think she's innocent. I say this because she failed two polygraphs and was more concerned about things such as hair, nails, make-up, the gym, et., than looking for Kyron. Also, she was more concerned about what the public thought of her relationship with Kaine than looking for Kyron.

If Houze wanted to share the tidbit of info about Kyron being seen by someone else after Terri left the school, I think he should have done it three years ago, not now.

So true! I just am never sure "who" is telling the truth. I would never be a great lie detector lol. I wondered if the failed poly was a lie to get her to talk? I guess going with your initial "gut" reaction is usually the case, the facts are she shut up all this time and you are right, An innocent person wouldn't do that.
Have a great day Juli! :))

Cops play games that way all the time, but I do not think they were lying about the failed poly because Steve Houze has a right to that information, and has had that right ever since Terri retained him. He does not have a right to access information that was not shared with Terri, or did not include Terri personally, but does have a right to access to information that was directly part of conversations with his client, necessitating her need for an attorney.

A lot of times, I have no idea what a guilty person would do, as people seem to make odd choices more and more often these days, (!!!!) but I do know that none of her reported statements beg "Look for Kyron", as everyone else's have! Also, if any of my children or stepchildren were missing, my reactions, and subsequently my actions, would be quite different from Terri Horman's, therefore; I have judged this situation from the "what would I have done?" viewpoint.
