Trump Threatens Republicans Who Represent Their Districts

Above is an excerpt from the Washington Post, quoting Donald Trump. He is very, very upset with a group of Republican congressmen who voted according to the wishes of their districts on repealing Obamacare, rather than the way Trump pressured them to vote. He thinks that he should threaten Congress to give America what it does not want, and he thinks that representatives are there to serve him, not their constituents.

When did it become Trump's job to "run" someone for Congress in a district where he does not live? It is not the job of Donald Trump to determine by whom other Americans may be represented in Congress, and it is not the job of his supporters to attempt to stick Americans with a country that only delivers threats and corruption, either.

Trump should also consider laying off Twitter. If he has problems getting along with members of his own party, he should either keep it to himself, or learn to get along with them.

Tad Cummins Bought Hair Dye

It has been reported that Tad Cummins, the suspect involved in the disappearance of fifteen year old Elizabeth Thomas, of Tennessee, was picked up by a Walmart Surveillance camera while buying hair dye, shortly before kidnapping Elizabeth. This means that both of them may have altered their appearances. Below is a picture of them, and a picture of Elizabeth with a darker hair color. Cummins's vehicle is also in the picture, but he may be driving a different vehicle by now. Craigslist sellers, be on the lookout! If you think he has responded to your advertisement on Craigslist, please let local police know. Also, Tad Cummins is now among the top ten most wanted on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's list. He has at least two handguns, and is obviously dangerous.

Elizabeth Thomas Missing

Fifteen year old Elizabeth Thomas was last seen in Columbia, Tennessee, in the company of a teacher at her school, a fifty year old man by the name of Tad Cummins. Now there is an active Amber Alert. It seems that Mr. Cummins planned this disappearance. He researched possible methods the police could use to track him, and he also researched the possibility of marrying someone as young as Elizabeth. Something he forgot is that he is already married, and in America, one may marry as many times as one wishes, but one must get divorced between nuptials.

Below are pictures of Elizabeth, Cummins, and the vehicle Cummins used when he was last seen. There is also a number for anyone with information to call. Please, if you know anything or have seen either Cummins or Elizabeth Thomas, call law enforcement.

Hanging In Effigy

Once upon a time, in January of 2012, to be exact, the Republican house speaker in Kansas, Mike O'Neal, emailed a "prayer" for then president, Barack Obama. The text from the bible, Psalm 109, was, "let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow." He thought everyone should pray this prayer for America's President. There were no accusations of violent threats, even though this is clearly a threat of murder. President Obama was a gentleman about it, and ignored Mr. O'Neal's stupidity and rudeness.

Fast forward to March of 2017. Racist America has elected Donald Trump to be president, and Donald Trump does nothing but sign racist edicts, such as his two failed travel bans, and tweet at America on Twitter at 3:00 every morning, sharing everything from his silly-assed feelings to national secrets. In response to all this, musician and singer, Snoop Doggy Dogg, created a video in which he shoots a very trumpesque clown, which he calls "Ronald Klump."

Donald Trump has complained about this video, saying, "Can you imagine what the outcry would be if Snoop Dog, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" Seriously? After the actual death threat to President Obama that was written and emailed by Mike O'Neal, in Kansas, brought no consequences at all, Trump really thinks that the exercise of first amendment rights and satire would bring jail time to someone else, if President Obama was the target? Snoop Dogg's video is the equivalent of hanging in effigy, which, along with flag burning, silly cartoon drawings, and photo shopped pictures of elected officials, is protected speech. Trump needs to understand that he is in America, and he needs to understand that the Constitution protects all Americans. After he begins to understand those two things, he needs to grow up.

Donald Trump's Travel Ban Cut Off Again

Donald Trump still must obey the law, especially the Constitution. He tried, once again, to restrict any immigration or visitation from Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran, and Syria. Because of his past rhetoric, proclaiming great hate for Islam and Muslims, Judge Derrick Watson of the United States District Court in Hawaii found that there is a very strong chance that Trump is discriminating against others for religious reasons. Now there is a new restraining order on the new travel ban.

Instead of studying constitutional law, Trump held a rally in Nashville, Tennessee today, during which he complained bitterly and disrespectfully about the court's decision. It seems that instead of truly representing America and America's constitution, Donald Trump can only appeal to the baser emotions of the less educated and less loyal among us.

More Kansas Track Coach Shenanigans

Todd Kaiser, a former high school track coach in Great Bend, Kansas, has been charged in district court with sexual exploitation of a minor. He was arrested in June of 2016, and he made his first appearance in court on March 6. Kaiser had worked for USD 428, as the physical education teacher at Eisenhower Elementary and as the head coach for Great Bend cross country and track teams.

Another incident that took place during 2016 in Great Bend, Kansas, involving the same school district, was a school bus where some unsupervised teenagers who had been taught, by adults in their lives, to sexually assault younger children. A sixteen year old young man and a seventeen year old young man have each been convicted of the sexual battery of a fourteen year old child on a school bus after an event for the swim team.

The obvious questions here concern the effectiveness of the adult supervision during sporting events in Kansas public schools, and how much contact these children had with this Coach Kaiser before this happened. Marshall County, Kansas, allows track coaches to abandon children alongside the highways and forget about them.

Former Marysville Kansas Teacher Guilty

In  November of 2016, yours truly wrote this, for another publication, about a former Marysville, Kansas public school teacher who moved to the Wichita area and got arrested in Butler County, Kansas for sexual abuse of a child.

"A brilliant special education teacher and basketball coach by the name of Mike Melcher has been arrested in Butler County, Kansas for the electronic solicitation of a child under the age of fourteen, and for inappropriate physical contact with a child under the age of fourteen. Mr. Melcher was a special education teacher and basketball coach in Marysville, Kansas, from 2008 to 2014. His first appearance in court was November 28.

This is not the first time Kansas has run into problems through the lack of background checks for teachers. Since 2002, Kansas has required criminal background checks for teachers, but any teacher who was hired before 2002 is not required to undergo a background check. This effectively "grandfathers" any and all teachers with criminal records who were hired before 2002. According to KSN, a teacher named Mike Burgan in St. Johns, Kansas, who taught for USD 350, was found to have a criminal record for indecent solicitation of a child, dating back to 1988. It was determined that Mr. Burgan had lied, numerous times, to the school board and the Kansas Department of Education. Can anyone see how easy it is to teach in public schools in Kansas with a criminal record?

The other problem which afflicts Kansas is cronyism and cover-up. How many child predators have enjoyed lengthy criminal careers because others have failed to report crime? The fallout from Mr. Melcher's arrest and subsequent court dates will hopefully yield more information concerning background check procedures for the El Dorado School District and the Marysville School District."

There is now an update. Mike  Melcher entered a guilty plea. He will be sentenced in May. While he has been on leave from his teaching position, he was still listed, on Monday, March 6, as an employee of the El Dorado school system. Hopefully, there will be no efforts among school boards in the state of Kansas to rehire him, because he has lived in Kansas all his life and has a lot of friends in Kansas.

Here's How It Differs From Watergate

Yes, Donald Trump's phones and computers were investigated by remote. He was, in fact, "wiretapped". A server at Trump Tower had a lot of communication with Alfa Bank, in Russia, and with Vladimir Putin during the summer and fall of 2016. Since nothing we do online is anonymous, the FBI noticed, and got a warrant to investigate. It was that simple. If Donald Trump thinks that any president would say no to such an investigation, he is delusional.

This differs from Watergate primarily because it was an actual investigation, complete with a warrant issued by the court for a wiretap. Watergate was spying and invasion of privacy. Nixon and et els were attempting to manipulate the success of a campaign and the outcome of a future election by criminal means. That's not what happened at Trump Tower. Due process was followed in the wiretapping of Trump Tower. No court gave Nixon permission to eavesdrop on the Democrats, but the court gave the FBI permission to investigate Donald Trump.

Another difference is that the investigation of the server at Trump Tower involves a foreign power. Had a Russian bank, with which Trump claimed he has no commerce, not been flagged, again and again, on his server, nothing would have seemed suspect. As it happens, Alfa Bank is also connected to Vladimir Putin. It would be negligent for the FBI to ignore such communiques. Nothing about this investigation compares to Watergate.

Trump Cries About Wiretaps

In case there is someone out there in Internetland who has not heard, Donald Trump has dominated Twitter, yet again, with yet another petty complaint. This time, it is an accusation against Barack Obama; specifically, that he had the phones at Trump Tower wiretapped during the election. Here's what he said, among other things:

While it is tempting to simply write this off as another stupid sounding complaint by an unqualified and ill-elected president, it is important to note the reaction of Kevin Lewis, Obama's spokesman, prior to passing judgement.  "A cardinal rule of the Obama administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false, " Lewis stated.

This is interesting. A president cannot order the wiretapping of any American citizen's phone, or any unconstitutional invasion of privacy. If Donald Trump does not know this, and must reach out to his Twitter audience for an answer, he is too stupid for the oval office. Another very telling aspect of Lewis's remark is what he said about DOJ investigations. As it happens, there actually WAS a warrant, which was not obtained by the White House, but by the FBI, to investigate communications at Trump Tower. It centered on a server which was found to be communicating with Russia's Alfa Bank, which has strong ties to Vladimir Putin. It seems that Mr. Trump just found out about the FBI investigation yesterday.

As long as an investigation is ongoing, the FBI is usually not inclined to comment or speak publicly about it. Had Donald Trump just resisted the urge to tweet, many, many Americans would not be aware, today, that the FBI has been investigating his computer and email activities, in connection to his relationship with entities in Russia. It seems plausible that we will hear more about this in the future.
