Imbolc

Imbolc; literally translated, "ewe's milk", from Gaelic. The beginnings of Spring, when ewes often had their babies. Northern Europeans used this festival, usually observed around this time of year, often during the first full moon of Aquarius, as a festival during which to burn old projects, completely clean house, reorganize, and allow the start of new energies and plans. Never forget Faith.

Sunday Sermon For Kansas Christians

In case anyone missed church this week, here's a good, sensible message that was shared with me about Christianity and it's favored icon.........and, not only does it make a valid point about subjectivity among the "faithful", it addresses a question I have pondered on this blog in the past: why do lots of Christians only relate to an icon if it is a male child with blond hair and blue eyes? Somehow; after sharing the Earth with the midwestern United States xian population, (not always an enjoyable or faith inspiring experience!) I think the answer to that question may be tied up in the subject of this post: http://siriunsun.blogspot.com/2011/10/bishop-robert-finn-and-immaculate.html

Enjoy, everyone! Have a great Sunday!
