Another Kansas Amber Alert

This is a picture of fifteen year old Nomei Velazquez, from Texas, and an older man with whom she disappeared yesterday, after school. In fact, she did not go home from school yesterday. Juan Delacruz, the suspect, drives a silver 2004 Volkswagon Passat, with Texas plates DF7T507. There is an active Amber Alert for Nomei, whose nickname is "Mimi", and her cell pinged, earlier this evening, in Lenexa, from a cell phone tower along Rt. 35. Nomei is about 4' 11'' tall, and about 120 lbs. Delacruz is about 5' 11" tall.

Here is what a 2004 silver VW Passat looks like:

If you see the vehicle or Nomei and Delacruz, please call the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 800-572-7463 or dial 911.

Vehicle In Failed Lenexa Kidnapping Possibly Identified

This vehicle may be the vehicle that was involved an a failed kidnapping a few days ago, in Lenexa, Kansas. The intended victim, an eleven year old boy, got away, instead, and ran into a liquor store, where the police were called. After checking traffic surveillance, it was determined that the pictured white car was in the area at the time of the incident. If anyone knows who this is, the TIPS hotline is 816-444-TIPS. The police are looking for the owner of this vehicle.

Boy Almost Kidnapped In Kansas

An eleven year old boy almost disappeared in Lenexa, Kansas. A white, four door sedan drove past him while he was riding his bicycle, then turned around and drove back. The driver stopped beside the boy, and the passenger pointed a gun at him, demanding that he enter the vehicle. Instead, the boy ran into a nearby liquor store, where the police were called. Big sigh of relief.

Lenexa is kinda close to the border of Missouri. So close, in fact, that one almost cannot help but think of Dr. Tim Monohan, of Missouri. He and his wife, Jennifer, have an established history of buying kidnapped and trafficked children. Could they have wanted a boy this time?
