David Duke And Kris Kobach

What do David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, and Kris Kobach, current Kansas Secretary of State, have in common? They have both endorsed Donald Trump for president in the 2016 election. After co-authoring Arizona's racist "papers please" laws, aimed at anyone who looks foreign in a non-white way, Kobach has gone the extra mile and endorsed the same candidate that a former leader in one of the most notorious hate groups in the nation has also endorsed. Coincidence? Or could both men be racists? Wannabe and aspiring Grand Wizard Kris Kobach is pictured on the left.

Religious Freedom And Business As Usual

What's all this pomp and circumstance about Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act? It's all nothing special, just a renewed opportunity for the good, christian people of America, the Midwest in particular, to act with hatred and disdain for their neighbors. After all, what better of a way can there be to make a person whose ethnic background, language, religion, sexual orientation, or perceived disability feel badly about himself than to wait until he orders a pizza, books a wedding, requests medical care, or enrolls in school, than to begin the transaction or service, only to suddenly cease, pulling the rug out from under him, with the announcement that fulfillment of the contract or delivery of the service would, in the case of said client or customer, be abhorrant to God, and therefore not feasible, in any way. If a child is disappointed to the extent of tears, or on the verge of a dangerously high fever, so much the better. Harm to an unbeliever is an enormously effective manner of making the point that "we do not serve your kind in our establishmment", isn't it, dear christians?

Well, you know something, Jesus Freaks? The Satanic Temple of Detroit has an answer for you; it's called Discrimination Transparency. In order for the non-christian world to determine, at a glance, which establishments are in business to make money, rather than to make others unhappy, a petition has been circulated and signed, and will be presented to the representatives of the involved locales, to request that a rider be written into the RFRA laws, requiring businesses which choose to discriminate to warn the population at large, so as to avoid humiliating the targets of christian hate and wasting their time in fruitless endeavors. Anyone who will not serve a member of an ethnic group Jesus does not like will be required to warn everyone by placing a sign on the door or somewhere visible from  outside the establishment, stating the discriminatory intentions. The same will go for any business  intending to marginalize customers and clients who attend the "wrong" church, speak a language  that is unfamiliar, or are sexually oriented in  ways that are useless in basic, old fashioned, christian adultery. People who do not wish to patronize bigots will be able to make educated choices about where to spend their money.

Disclaimer: It is understood by the writer that not all christians interpret religious and spiritual teachings as inclusive of hatred and bigotry. This post is only meant to describe those who have wrongly concluded that the world revolves around only themselves and their ilk.

Look who's Paying Officer Wilson's Bills

Not only does Darren Wilson have the protection of the entire police department after shooting someone in cold blood, (how many of us could count on having our names withheld for as long as his was if we committed crimes?) he has the support of the Ku Klux Klan! That's right; the Klan has raised the money for this creep to take an extended vacation, miss court dates, get a woman knocked up, and buy a house, all in the same general area......so we know he isn't worried about revenge or indictment.

While a murderer hides and skips going to court, a hate group publicly raises the money for him to do this. Would your local court allow anyone to do this for you, if you skipped any court appearances? Or would that be considered obstruction of justice?

Taking Candy From Strangers

In South Carolina, we have strangers giving candy to children. The Ku Klux Klan wants to bolster it's image and increase membership by tossing bags of candy on people's doorsteps. Bags of candy against one hundred and fifty years or so of violence and terrorism....right. Somehow, this seems ridicules. There is also printed material included in the bags of candy, for anyone interested in joining, should such a person read above a third grade level, explaining that the Klan wants to curb immigration, black crime, and "minority tyranny". Perhaps the Klan should be aware that minorities would like to curb unlawful immigration and white (collar) crime, and "establishment" tyranny! Minorities and everyone else would also like the Klan, and other terrorists, to know that most of us still teach our children not to accept any candy from strangers.

It is the reaction of a relative of mine who looked at Siri's World this morning and was stunned by your ignorance. You should also be aware that none of us are anonymous on the internet. Quite a few people so far have been shocked at the address of the IP number indicated by my tracker.

It needs to be pointed out that Christians in places like Europe (to those of you far right conservative Bible thumpers who can't possibly imagine Christians in Europe-yes- there are millions of Christians in Europe) Christians in Europe do not believe the way this menacing troll neighbor of yours and their insular, southern state cronies believe. I have some wonderful pen pals/ friends in Sweden. They really are nice people. Once native Swedish people warm up to you and get to know you; you'll never find better friends. There are Catholics and many protestants in Sweden- including the Lutheran Church. Your "polite" *cough! *Gag!... neighbor preaches about God and Flag when it borders blashpemy to mention the two in the same breath....... in Sweden- it is considered a desecration of the sanctuary and disrespectful to God to fly the flag of one's own country or any other country within the walls of the Church- especially the sanctuary. You NEVER see the Swedish flag or any other flag in the sanctuary of a Swedish church. I agree with this and believe it is the right approach. You come to the United States and you see American flags hanging all over many protestant sanctuaries- especially Southern Baptist churches. I have always found this to be disrespectful myself. Juli (and I have permission to call her that- thank you) It seems to me that your neighbor here and those like he or she practice no kind of spirituality or Christianity whatsoever. Instead they practice "Nationalism". They worship the American flag like an idol instead of leaving it in it's proper place as a symbol representing the nation they live in. A Nation where all beliefs and ideologies are supposed to be free and allowed to practice and do as they please. These people do not worship God; nor, are they spiritual.These people worship THEIR idea of America. They practice in Nationalism- they worship America. They disrespect their sanctuaries by flying American flags in them, singing patriotic songs riddled with propaganda within the church walls, and saying the pledge of allegiance to the flag in what is supposed to be God's house- not the Flag's house or America's house. What is the flag of any nation doing in a place that is supposed to be a holy/ sacred/ spiritual place? Many of these people are insular and ignorant to the World around them. The old spiritual song goes this way " He's got the WHOLE WORLD in his hands" It does not say " He's got the USA only in his hands" The Bible says for God so love the WORLD that he gave his only begotten son- it does not say " For God so loved America". So- if your neighbor is so Christian; then, why do they hate charity, hold the flag in higher regard than they do Christ,and apparently hate the rest of planet Earth? Is it a crime to love other countries as well as the USA? Certainly not. IS it un-American or un-Christian either one? Certainly not! Sometimes- because I love the REAL American ideals that helped found and define what this country was originally all about; I have considered moving to Sweden. Why? They're MORE American than AMERICA is now. And you might as well had better save your breath there Juli's nut job neighbor; because, unless you know Swedish people, know about their government, and know their culture the way that I do; you have no right to say anything. You have no way of arguing with me if you don't know anything about the subject matter in which I am speaking. Also- Nobody has the right to judge- period. Conservatives have a very bad habit of trash talking and arguing about something when they know absolutely NOTHING about it; nor, have they investigated to find out what the truth is. They just spout the propaganda and rhetoric that they heard on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh and are almost incapable of forming their own, objective opinions. Juli doesn't "hate" America, the flag,freedom, or Christians... believe it or not. But; I'm firm in the believe that YOU hate her. Very Christian of you isn't it? We should ALL have the right to believe the way we want and do and say what we want... to make our own choices. THAT is REAL Democracy and you apparently do not want a REAL Democracy. Community Reaction To New Hope Baptist Church In Seneca, Kansas

It looks like Reverend Knapp has made some new friends! After his sermon last week,  at New Hope Bapstist Church, in Seneca, Kansas, he had some visitors! It is good to see Kansans sending a counter-message to the conventional bigotry and hate that is commonplace enough in Kansas to pass for traditional lifestyles of the republican and brainwashed. Chris Knapp really thought no one would raise an eyebrow at his guff here in Kansas. Wake up, Knapp! The times, they are a-changin'!
