Donald Trump And The Symbionese Liberation Army

It has been a couple of weeks since the Trump Administration floated the idea of handing out boxes of food to SNAP recipients, rather than food stamps or plastic debit cards, so the story has made its way out of the news cycles. Donald Trump thought that a "Blue Apron" style of delivering food to poor children (most food stamps beneficiaries are children) would be a groovy way to re-vamp that aspect of welfare. Humiliating parents and children who are not as fortunate as Trump and Family is, these days, what being a Republican is all about.

Something that is not addressed by this "food delivery" idea is food allergies. All it takes is one mistake; one accidental or deliberate delivery of peanut butter or tuna to someone with a peanut butter or seafood allergy to kill that person. No kidding. Also not addressed are restricted diets: not everyone can safely eat the same stuff. A person with diabetes is often prescribed a restricted diet. A person with celiac disease experiences autoimmune reactions if he eats anything containing wheat products. A generic box of food cannot address this, but a person who knows what foods are medically safe for his own family can. It appears that the Trump administration just wants to put all poverty stricken families into one category, and any recipient of assistance who does not fit the category is simply out of luck.

Another group demanded, in 1974, that Hearst Publications try the same thing. This group was a terrorist group called the Symbionese Liberation Army. Patty Hearst, the daughter of one of the heirs to Hearst Publications, was kidnapped by the group in February of 1974. A demand made by the group, as a condition of Patty's release, was for the Hearst family to distribute $70.00 worth of food, in boxes, to every needy person in California. The approximate equivalent, as of 2018, is about $420.00 per person or family. Hearst went ahead and started distributing food at one location, hoping to get his daughter back. What ensued was chaos, not unlike Donald Trump and his charitable act of throwing paper towels at people in Puerto Rico, after Hurricane Maria. Such actions facilitate the risks of hurting people, and there is no guarantee that everyone who needs food or paper towels will even benefit. Since we all know that this type of charity did not work well for a group of domestic terrorists, why would the president thing it is a good idea?

Dr. Phil's Evil Eight Warning Signs Of Parasite

Below, in pink, are the words of a person who is homeless by choice, and who demands rides, food, and resources from everyone she meets. She especially likes to arrange mishaps for herself under circumstances wherein there may be insurance companies to defraud.

A van finally pulled over. A woman, by herself, offered me a ride. I walked over to the
other side of the road and put my backpack in her backseat.  As I did, two Rainbow guys
came out of nowhere and grabbed the bag that held the other half of my sandwich and
my cookie. They held it up like it was some kind of trophy and ran off with it!

See what I mean?

Yeah. I see what you mean, Ruthie In The Sky. But I also see other facets to it. Did you mooch anything from the Rainbow guys, or their friends, before this happened? Did any money belonging to them, or their wallets disappear from their campsites while you were around? Kinda like what happened with money belonging to one of my children while you were around here? You are not necessarily entitled to the resources of other people, you know. You are also not entitled to their time and energy. I am not defending the Rainbow guys, but I am willing to bet that you have not shared the entire story. Dr. Phil's "Evil Eight" signs may have been written just to warn the rest of us about you!

The following are what Dr. Phil calls the Evil 8. Eight signs to look for in what he calls "toxic people."

1. Arrogant Entitlement to your life

2. Lack of Empathy

3. No Remorse/Guilt

4. Irresponsible/Self-Destructive

5. Thrive on Drama

6. Brag About Outsmarting

7. Short-Term Relationships

8. Fantasy World/Delusional

You know, not only are you toxic, but in doing your special, unique toxic things, which include all eight of Dr. Phil's signs, you actually steal community resources from those who truly are faced with emergencies and need them. Those shelters you stink up are established for people who suddenly were faced with hardship, not for career space wasters, Ruthie In The Sky.

Now that the government is shut down, a lot of the parks and public restrooms have been shut down, too. Where are you going to use the facilities? Your sense of entitlement without doing a thing, whatsoever, to pull your own weight (no pun intended) may place you in a quandary, since no one has an obligation to unlock a public restroom for someone who gets a check every month, yet refuses to use it for her own necessities, choosing instead to mooch!

This may be the actual reason a shelter director in Kansas was so upset when she discovered you had been allowed to squat there for awhile. She was probably scared of ending up in a landlord/tenant relationship with you!

Egg Man And Walrus

~sigh~ Sitting here in this little town in Missouri while while the sun sets is a total drag. Nobody will talk to me here. Nobody is friendly. Except the mosquitoes.

The above is an actual comment made by someone who is homeless by choice, refuses to work, and will not lift a finger to learn to drive or do anything for herself. That type of comment about people who cannot help her has been her refrain for years. Here's a song for you, hitch hiker:
♫♪♫ Sitting in Missouri, ♪ waiting for a ride to come♫♪
♪Gimme gimme burgers, ♫gimme Mountain Dew to bum!♫♪
I am the Eggman!♪♪♪ They are the Eggman!♪♪♪ You are the Walrus!♪♪♪
♫Give me a ride! ♫ Give me a ride! ♫Give me a ride!♫
Her next Facebook whine has to do with local law enforcement doing their jobs:
Cop came by and told me that it's illegal to hitchhike in Missouri...threatened me and told me to stay in this stupid all nite laundromat...yeah where the camera can keep an eye on me all nite... he had people in a regular local yokel car behind him the whole time that he was talking to me. No offer for food or drink. He doesn't care. He's an ass. By what I can see everyone here is.
Here's another stanza to the song!
♫ Mister city policeman sitting, lots of city policemen in a row!♫♪♫
♪♫ See how they don't like Ruthie In The Sky, ♫ they tell her "no"!♪
♫♫ I'm cryin'! ♫♫ I'm cryyyyyy♪in'!♫♫
Then she got all upset because law enforcement often frowns upon the situations that pose themselves all too often whenever she is present......things like arguments, fights, deliberate attempts to destroy property or become injured, so as to file suit, and missing wallets. Grow up, hitch hiker. No police officer wants things like that going on.
the cop is mean and hellbent on ruining everything. All the effort that has been made to get me to this place and now one local numnutz jerk is going to try to undo it.
Okay, my hitch hiking friend, here's another reason why you shouldn't be allowed to just hang around:
♫Man, you've been a naughty girl, you used a false address!

The sad thing, or one of the sad things, about people like the "star" my rant, here, is that the programs she abuses, which were put in place to assist those who actually NEED such programs, mainly poor mothers who have small children and Americans with actual disabilities, would not be in danger of getting shut down if she and those of her ilk would stop abusing these programs. The SNAP program and community pantries are for those who simply have no other honest way of obtaining food for their families. Mothers who are single and unemployed often qualify because a mother cannot leave her children alone, and this often becomes a logistical roadblock in finding gainful employment. There should be no shame in asking for help in such circumstances; it's a lot better than endangering children or allowing them to go hungry. The same goes for shelters; emergency shelters, or emergency assistance with housing, is something communities use to help those who actually have emergency needs and are interested in changing the status from "homeless" to "has permanent address". The subject of the above rant gets very angry, sometimes violently, when emergency shelters turn her away in favor of families with children! Well guess what......? A single, able bodied person who is capable of working and buying her own hotel room is NOT a priority over a child who cannot do those things for himself, and the child's parents also deserve the consideration in those situations that help keep families together. Single adults with no children do not have the same issues.

People like Ruthie, of Ruthie in the Sky, are actually the minority of welfare clients. Most clients of such services have not made the choice to be in their situations, and are simply trying to determine the next, most logical step in order to cope with adversity and solve problems. The problem Ruthie presents for them is her visibility and the amount of time she has to jump in line, so to speak, get on waiting lists, use addresses she really shouldn't use, and grab benefits while other clients are still wondering who to see about each particular problem. Looking for a job, or going to work, finding childcare, helping children with homework, caring for infants, ect., is much more time consuming and demanding of energy than anything Ruthie has attempted to do, yet Ruthie is much, much more visible than any of those more deserving people. And while she is busy being visible, she is very hard on the vision! Sitting in places where she has been asked not to sit, yelling at people, starting fights and arguments, taking enough food for three people at a time when three people, at least, will have to go hungry each time she does this, has lent a very negative image to a stereotype of a person whose circumstances actually merit community assistance. This may be one of the reasons Kansas Republican representatives voted to cut the SNAP program recently. What Ruthie has actually accomplished by making people disgusted by her overeating, non-working presence has not only served to directly consume that which was never hers or intended for her, but to also eliminate resources for children which would otherwise have been left in place! What a greedy pig!
I am so mad that I could just spit nails! Cop shut down my hitchhiking and won't help me with anything. I am hungry thirsty and forced to walk up a dark road to pee!
Above is another whine from the same source. That is yet another reason the police probably wanted this particular hitch hiker to cease and desist. She refused to use her own money to procure her own shelter, and is now stating that she is planning to expose herself! Yuck! And don't do it around children! And the city policeman WAS doing his job; his job is to tell people not to hitch hike and not to trespass and loiter. He is also there to make sure no one's wallet get's stolen. The citizens of Missouri do NOT expect him to feed and water the nuisance creators when he asks them to move on!
I won't take any more of the nonsense that started last night. I deserve much better and I am going to go back to where I think that I will have a better chance of finding what I should have.
I am glad you won't take any more of the nonsense, Ruthie. You shouldn't. You should start living somewhere permanently and working to keep that permanent address at your earliest convenience. You do deserve better: you deserve a job, an honestly earned paycheck, a place to disrobe without committing indecent exposure, and your own damn Mountain Dew! You also deserve a chance to reimburse everyone of whose advantage you have taken, and you deserve a chance to pay back any monies stolen from the wallets of children. I hope you "find" all that!

Locust Plague In Kansas

Grrr.......We have a parasite hitching through southern Kansas right now! She's hungry, lazy, and crazy! Lock your doors! Lock your refrigerators! Lock your cars, too! And do not pick up any hitchhikers!

Hide your wallet, too!

Bwahahahahahaha!

Give me a fish and I eat for a day.
Teach me to fish, and I eat for a lifetime.

Get a clue, parasite.

Private Message

I have some very bad news for a certain welfare recipient. It was in the paper this morning! It seems you may no longer be free to collect certain benefits within a certain, Midwestern state and continue to move from place to place without employment. An honest effort to secure gainful employment will very likely be required in the near future, as the only reason it was not required was a waiver which was granted to the state. Quite a few of us know that the real reason you never settle down is an attempt to avoid having your welfare benefits stopped when you refuse to go to work anywhere. It's easier to hitchhike to a different state, and try to collect benefits there, isn't it? Kansas isn't gonna let you do it anymore. Enjoy job hunting!

The Nerve She Struck

There's a person out there who feels entitled to the resources, including but not limited to, the vehicles, the homes, the time, and the food, of everyone she sees who has those things and has them honestly. She refuses to use her resources to establish residence anywhere, and by default, her lack of permanence becomes an unnecessary and huge expense. It is her personal opinion that Uncle Sam owes her an hotel room every night of the week. It is also her opinion that every driver who passes her on the road, when she hitchhikes, has a moral obligation to pick her up. What she does not see is that sometimes these drivers are en route to places such as........employment (!) and do not have time to stop and dick around with her. Or, some drivers have children, and if all of those children are in the car, there may not be enough seat belts for another passenger, especially a morbidly obese passenger.

When people send angry comments to this woman via the internet, she does not appear to understand that those people who have happy marriages have them because they actively, are, happily married people, and they repeat the act of being happily married each and every day. Those who have children have them because they either bore them, adopted them, or agreed to bring them up via other auspices of guardianship; or in some cases, all three! The Gods did not simply award certain lucky people with love; those people actively participate. The notion that this woman is entitled to the relationships and resources of others, to whom she has contributed nothing.....except to take, sorta like a parasite......is insane. Yet she feels that people send angry comments to her out of guilt. It's not out of guilt; it's out of rage. Indeed, this woman strikes a nerve, but not the one she thinks.

Stop depending on the general public, Ruthie. You get a check every month; use it for something sensible, like housing. Why should emergency shelters and long term shelters house you, when their purpose is to house those who have emergencies or no resources at all? Is it the government's fault that you spend all your money on enough food for three or four people, instead of on a place to live? Which brings me to another thingy about you: you eat enough for three or four people. The reason my kids did not get enough to eat while you stayed in my home was that you were eating, literally, ALMOST ALL the food I bought. Hundreds of dollars worth a week. We still have not recovered.

You may think you shouldn't have to work, but you quit working, and quit trying, at a much earlier age than most people. You literally have not paid enough into the "system" to expect everything from the system that you expect. If you get a job, that will go a long way to remedy the problem of not having a place to live. It will require that you put your laptop down and show up for work when they need you, but such is life. Deal with it. All the people of whom you take advantage deal with it, why would you be special?

Something else that is helpful, when staying in the homes of others, is leaving their wallets and other personal property alone. Stealing simply isn't cool. Especially when the aforementioned wallets belong to children.

Speaking of children, at least half a dozen children in my personal acquaintance will testify that YOU eat like a PIG! Specifically, food bought for children! You take a lot more than your share of anything and everything. Bulletins about you have gone out in certain areas, advising well-meaning citizens to avoid you and drive past you while you hitchhike, because of the way you take advantage of others. Your table manners are also disgusting!

You've struck a nerve? Probably not. You've got some nerve, though!

☼Thankyou for indulging me, everyone who read this. The one for whom the message is intended knows exactly who she is.☼

Do All Republicans Cry?

"i personally think your article is worthless fecal matter. maybe you should fact check obamas terrible record and how he will bankrupt this country completely. republicans just dont want to give the money they make away to worthless unemployed welfare recipients.maybe you should move to a communist country if you really believe the liberal garbage you just spewed!"

This comment was sent to me, not only on this blog, but in a couple of different places on the internet. Apparently, we have a sore loser on our hands. Obama's record does not bother me. Obama reformed healthcare and dealt with Bin Laden. Obama also didn't let the auto industry disappear, and has refused to sell out to the Koch Brothers. He also stopped campaigning after Hurricane Sandy and did his job, while Romney collected goods that the Red Cross told him they could not transport or use, and threw them away after posing beside them for the camaras. By the way, the people who were affected by Hurricane Sandy are some of the people who will benefit from the money you don't want to give. They are from all walks of life, not just stereotypical "welfare recipients".

Programs for relief for those living in poverty do not take more than five to six percent of taxes paid by everyone, and if you are bellyaching about "food stamps" in particular, that's between three and four percent. Most of the beneficiaries of those programs are children, and I would certainly never vote for a lawmaker who wanted children to quit school and go to work. So the single digit percent you do not want to pay is probably going to stay in place. By and large, the rest of those "unemployed welfare recipients" are pretty much employed, since there are time limits to what they can receive in benefits. As long as they can work, they are required to work. If it's healthcare you are running your sillyassed yap about to me, I think everyone is entitled to medical care, whether they can afford insurance or not. Once again, most of the people whose insurance is bought with your tax dollars and mine are children, so shut up! And when adults become ill and cannot work, they shouldn't be bankrupted or turned away by doctors and hospitals. Other than that, schools, libraries, and city infrastructures are also things that are paid for by Republicans and Democrats alike, and we should be budgeting MORE money for schools, not LESS.

As for "giving away the money you make", my self righteous complainer, there was once a day in my past, when I was at work, assisting my employer in his quest to make money, when the hospital emergency room telephoned me to let me know that my infant son had been taken there by ambulance with a fever of one hundred and six. My employer complained that without me, he could not make as much money, and threatened me with disciplinary action if I left early to care for my son. The truth here is, the money made by that company was made, not only by the company owners, but by all the employees, as well. Thereby, the money made was not only the company's, but mine, as well. My employer attempted to step on me, but I took care of my family anyway. Since he was unable to replace me at the drop of a hat, he was stuck with a mom who loves her children on his payroll. You see, there are too many people in this country, and on this planet, for things to run in as uncomplicated of a fashion as you seem to think they should run. The person who fought in the wars in which your country engaged, but is unemployed now, still made money along with you. The person with a disability is also not "worthless", as you stated. As long as you travel on OUR roads to reach your place of employment and make YOUR money, and as long as you send your children to OUR schools, and use the services of OUR police force, and a myriad of other commonly shared ammenities, you cannot really claim that you are "giving the money you make away". Obama is not bankrupting this country....businesses like Walmart are, if you really think that welfare is the biggest problem. Many of Walmart's employees are not paid a wage that enables them to live without using some of those services you decry. Yet you do want someone to ring up your purchases promptly when you shop at Walmart, don't you? Why is your money more special than that person's money? Why is your time at work more special than that person's time at work?

The "fecal matter" here was written by you......with little to no punctuation and absolutely no fact checks. And you are pathetic enough to withhold your signature or your name. I do not have to move to a Communist country. I am American, and I get to stay here. Obama won the election, you are just going to have to get used to it.
