Favorite Commercial Of The Year

In 2013, I didn't really have a favorite commercial, so I dug up my favorite from 2012. It was the commercial for the Obama campaign, calling out Mitt Romney for his attack on Public Television and Sesame Street. Some of this years big headlines in the news, such as Edward Snowden and the NSA spying techniques and Obamacare's misalignment into practical use, have distracted our attention from those who have used elected and appointed position, social or judicial power, invested or borrowed money, and public trust to rob, abuse, and deceive. Any bites taken out of education or learning can only make easier victims out of members of the general population. Shame on anyone who wants to limit or control educational broadcasts for children. While Sesame Street only allowed the Obama campaign to use Big Bird for a couple of days in order to make a point, I think we all need to turn our attention back to the white collar criminals who have real potential to destroy local and national economies and ruin lives. This spoof on Romney remains my favorite commercial.

Favorite Commercial Of 2012

What totally weird and crazy stuff we have seen on TV in 2012! When I was young, people were usually too repressed and concerned with maintenance of their facades to say the things on national television that come across the airwaves now! From all of 2012's entertaining and amusing offerings, I'm gonna have to say that Obama's campaign advertisement after the first presidential debate with Romney, calling out Romney on his silly comments about cutting the funding for public television and Big Bird is my favorite commercial of 2012!

More Post Election Fun And Ann Romney Flipping The Bird

Big Bird can heave a sigh of relief; his job on Sesame Street is safe. The people also spoke clearly about repealing prohibition laws and recognizing gay marriage. The disparaged forty-seven percent of Americans who do not matter to the Romneys have made it quite clear that the Romneys do not matter to them, either. Big Bird does, though. It has also been established, with the defeat of Mitt Romney and his money, that corperations are not actually people, so American citizens do not have to worry about the interests of corperations becoming more important than the votes of the people.

For the past couple of weeks, there have been hits to this blog searching for still shots or video footage of Ann Romney's face after the second debate her husband had with our President. Here is a video clip of it, complete with Mrs. Pious Mormon Lady Romney giving Barack Obama the finger after the debate!

Commercials During Sesame Street?

One of the reasons I have always liked PBS stations for childrens' TV shows, such as Sesame Street, is the fact that there are no commercials. Not that I have anything against advertising or business, but I have always enjoyed having a network my children can watch that does not attempt to sell them everything from ice cream to ovulation kits before they even know how to count money. Not only do I think it's better that way, I KNOW it's better that way. A child's formative years should not be heavily influenced by the advertising industry. I also never liked Mitt Romney, and I have never even come close to believing his wife's rhetoric about being a happy housewife bringing up five boys. But now that I have heard Mitt say that Big Bird better better get used to corn flakes, I know that if he cared at all about his own children, something I tend to doubt, he certainly does not care about your children or mine. Once again, Mitt Romney, the biggest corn flake of all, has made it clear that he does not care about American families, and has no intentions of investing in the middle class.
