Paul Ryan Is Too Liberal
Paul Ryan says he represents Judeo Christian values, and an America that once embraced such values, but his words do not represent such values. After becoming the running mate of Mitt Romney, who openly mocks those less privileged than himself with his famous "forty-seven percent" crack, it is almost impossible to discern anything in Paul Ryan's rhetoric in any of his speeches that even remotely harks back to the words and practices of the fictitous Jesus. The other day, he howled and cried about his President threatening Christian values, but the only real justification of such a notion concerned the president's insistance that medical care be available to everyone. Health and healing! Wouldn't Jesus be pissed?
Would this "America" of which young Paul Ryan so desperately tries to remind us be the same America that denied President Obama the privilege of drinking from the same water fountain from which his own mother drank, because of his complexion? Paul Ryan's age and experience do not reach that far back, but plenty of Americans actually DO remember that America. Perhaps Paul Ryan wishes to reach back even further, to a day when women did not vote, and had very few rights in banking or business worlds. Would that make this little punk happy? Folks; Paul Ryan has no idea what he is talking about.
If Paul Ryan wants to consider threats to American Christianity, perhaps he should take a closer look at Mitt Romney's religion. While it masquerades as another type of Christianity, the Mormon religion promotes racism and contradicts the Bible and traditional Christian beliefs in many ways. In fact, the Jewish traditions from which we supposedly get Christianity discourage ascribing any type of human form to the Creator (such as insisting that "he" must be white) or giving the Creator a name! There isn't a Mormon anywhere who can actually tell us what "God" looks like, and they should really give that up. Along with the rest of the Book of Moron. That, along with the mockery of the poor, is a much bigger threat to Christianity than all of America's politicians put together. Paul Ryan is much too liberal with the delicate balence of separation of church and state.

Update On Florida's Voting Restrictions
This video is from four years ago. It still happens to be relevant, so I put it up here. There has been an update to the situation in Florida that drove Democrats to sue to keep hours extended for early voting, so that everyone would get a chance to vote, even the forty-seven percent that are so maligned and hated by the Mormon Republican Wannabe, Mitt Romney. It seems that now more people will get to vote without having, literally, to wait all night in line, because the Supreme Court ordered it. Now; if we could only get the people in the Romney camp to stop trying to blow up the forty-seven percent of people who might be inclined to vote for Obama, the election and storm clean up might go smoothly on the East Coast. Explosives! Nixon's camp didn't even stoop that low! It's becoming easier and easier to slam the door in the faces of Mormon missionaries.Wednesday, October 10, 2012
Local Person Wants To Defend Racist Mormons
"Please read this. You might gain some insight into Mormons views on racism in their PAST."

Okay, local person who wants to think racism is acceptable if it can be properly disguised or hidden; I got your comment. I did not publish it in it's complete form because it contained a link to a site defending the blatently racist and ignorant statements and doctrines of the Mormon church, and I am not here to defend such crap. If God is really who the gospel of Matthew says he is, then, believe me you.....all of the Mormon gibberish is nothing but a bunch of crap. You stated to me that the racism is in "the past". Then you gave me a link citing that this "past" is 1978! In my world, 1978 was not that long ago. In fact, my world is largely made of things I learned in 1978 and before that! 1978, while in the past, is part of the RECENT past. So is 1956, by the way; the year Brown vs. The Board of Education in Topeka was won in the Supreme Court. Yet Kansas schools remain unconsolidated in an ongoing effort to ignore the Constitution. Coincidence? I think not!
Here are some racist excerpts from the book of Mormon, which you seem to wish to defend. I'm gonna have to tell you now, though; I would be completely embarrassed and humiliated to support this nonsense or be in any way associated with an organization which so recently promoted it and only stopped promoting it because of social pressure. A doctrine that is central to a religion is central to that religion. It cannot change just because of outside peer or social pressure......and didn't St. John state, in the biblical book of Revelations, that it is blasphemy to change or add stuff to the new testament scriptures, anyway? Hmmm?
"Mormon scripture: God curses bad races with black skin
2 Nephi 5:21
"And the Lord had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."
Alma 3: 6"And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren, who consisted of Nephi, Jacob, and Joseph, and Sam, who were just and holy men."
3 Nephi 2:14-15
" And it came to pass that those Lamanites who had united with the Nephites were numbered among the Nephites; And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became white like unto the Nephites."
What the hell kind of word is "delightsome", anyway? That sounds like something a pervert would say while committing a crime!

Mitt Romney Belongs To A Racist Church
Mitt Romney is a bishop in his church. His church, the Mormon Church, is historically and currently racist. Whenever he is questioned about this part of his church's doctrines, he evades the question about whether or not he feels he has a literal god-given right to deny constitutional rights and justice to people who happen to belong to races that are not defined as Caucasion. A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for taking America backwards into a part of history that no one should wish to repeat.
Here's a bratty, spoiled rotton little Mormon boy telling the world why he thinks it's okay to be a racist. Would we really want to turn back the clock to that?

In Case You Missed Church On Sunday
Judging by comments I seem to keep receiving from a local source, I am guessing enough has not been said about the difference between an orthodox religion and a totally insane and completely moronic (no pun intended) cult, which twists words, teachings, and doctrines for everything from convenience to profit. No; I am not a subscriber to Christianity, but if you are going to make statements concerning a belief in same, and pester me with innane comments that even contain foul language because I am not a Christian, and defend liars in the same breath, you need to understand that what you are defending has never been anything but a sham. It really doesn't matter what I mispelled here, or what name I got wrong there......my point stands. If you wanna go biblical on me, I've read it already. The Epic Black Guy here has the appropriate interpretation of the orthodox Christian basics. The Mormons don't.
If you are gonna be a Christian about everything, at least be more picky about what the icon of that movement really taught, if and when he existed!

In Case You Slept Through Church Today
I feel a bit like busting on Mormons today, since they are loosely defined as one of the three bunches of people I bust on here in Siri's World: republican politicians, fundamentalist Christians who evangelize a lot, and violent criminals. Please don't take any of it personally. That said, allow me also to state that according to Roman myth, Lucifer had a SISTER, named Deanna, not a brother named Jesus! Geesh! Joseph Smith was not well read on matters mythological at all!
Also, I would be remiss if I did not comment on just how repugnant I find Mormon doctrine because it supports racism. It's not something that should ever be accepted by anyone who loves justice or peace. It's also stupid. Dark skin as a punishment? What about the person who finds darker complexions sexy and exotic? A punishment of a beautiful skin tone would be a bit counterproductive. Why did a bunch of American Caucasions need one more excuse to be racist, anyway?

In Case You Missed Church This Sunday
If you weren't in church this Sunday, something you might not have seen is Mitt Romney and his entourage, who attended the Mormon church in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, undoubtedly just to be seen.....in church, that is. According the Associated Press, "Romney is resting at his lakefront home here after several days of heavy fundraising." Yes indeed. That heavy cash flow situation can be very exhausting. The Mormon Bishop needs his rest.

Omit Mitt Instead Of Getting Rid Of Teachers
While discussing the blissful elimination of ineffective probation officers, why not eliminate an entire legal vehicle, such as prohibition laws? We should probably continue the prohibition of drugs that are truly dangerous, such as certain prescription medicines, and we should certainly never allow drunk driving, but why is marijuana illegal? Since 1937, when it became illegal, whose life has been enhanced by keeping it unlawful? Hmmm? This prohibition law has not aided the average citizen in any way. It has, however; made gangs and drug cartels quite rich. Prohibition laws have also helped make the Mafia powerful. Oh....lets not forget, it also helps keep those ineffective probation officers employed.
The abolishment of prohibition laws would also free up our judicial system and allow it to be an actual judicial system, instead of a babysitting service for wayward adults. Taxpayors spend lots and lots of money on judicial stupidity every year on nonsense that involves..........drum roll..........marijuana. If we could save all this money and spend it on teachers, instead of doing what Mitt Romney wants to do; specifically, get rid of teachers, firefighters, and policemen, we would be investing in ourselves and our own communities. Bishop Romney wants to tell us that we cannot have those assets, and that we cannot use our own resources to invest in ourselves, and in our children. What would he do with our money? He hasn't told us. He is a bishop in his church, so it isn't really a big stretch to wonder if our money would probably bolster his church a lot more than it would bolster our nation.
If Mitt really wants to help America's economy, why not change the pay scale for elected positions? Do some of our elected officials make more than we, the people, can afford to pay them? Why isn't Mitt looking at that, instead of eyeing our schools from the standpoint of a vulture? Perhaps the position of president can even be served on a volunteer basis. We wouldn't have so many career politicians! The bishop really needs to start looking at ways to invest in the middle classes, rather than ways to eliminate the middle classes.
Here's a serious question: if Mitt really wants to cut the number of policemen, yet keep victimless crimes on our books, who is going to carry out the resulting and ongoing arrests? The FBI? The Coast Guard? His own elite bunch of Mormon goons? And, if he becomes president, will he serve the American people? Or does he see us all as potential employees or parishoners? Oh...wait a minute...certain minorities cannot become Bishop Romney's parishoners, can they?

Mormon Police Force
Interesting. Colorado City, Arizona, which was once the home of the Mormon Rev. Warren Jeffs, before state prison became his home, is the home of a bunch of cops who do not enforce the law or respond to emergencies, but act as the muscle of the Mormon Church in that area, instead. It has become clear that this police force will turn a blind eye to violence, encourage child abuse and child molestation, and that members of the police force knew exactly where Warren Jeffs was hiding when he was on the FBI's most wanted list, and helped him flee and ellude. How many missing children would be found, if the jurisdiction handled by this police force was thoroughly searched? It's just a question.

Mitt's Misconceptions
Mitt Romney obviously has not had much experience dealing with crowds. Especially American crowds, who are not obliged to follow any fundamental church's authority. He was in Iowa, yesterday, talking about whatever Mormon Republicans talk about.......blah..blah..blah.......and someone in the crowd loudly disagreed with him. It became a shouting match, and it boiled down to an interesting statement, made by Mitt Romney, in his retort that "corperations are people, too". While corperations have certain obligations and rights under the law, in order to function as entities in the business world, there are a few things that set them apart in the legal world from people. So I am going to have to say that Romney is wrong about this. Now; after the whole criminal investigation, criminal findings, and criminal court proceedings with Warren Jeffs and his sexual taste for children and the reluctance of the surrounding community, mostly Mormon, to assist in bringing Jeffs to justice, I am forced to wonder if this comparison of corperations to human beings on Romney's part is cultural. One of the main differences between a corperation and a human in the United States is that a human cannot be bought, sold, or traded, but a corperation can. Yet, it appears, from recent data, mostly data presented as evidence in court, disturbingly, that girls and women in the Mormon church ARE considered "property", or "chattel" to be bought, sold, and traded, and that may be part of the confusion from which Romney suffers. See also http://blogoliticalsean.blogspot.com/2011/08/fundamentalist-mormon-warren-jeffs-and.html , where someone who just wanted the custody orders from his divorce enforced ran into a brick wall, when dealing with the largely Mormon culture in Utah. Children and folks who are not Mormon apparently rank the same as women and corperations in their world; things to be bought, sold, or traded.
I really hope America is paying attention here. Downgrading a human being to the same civil level as a corperation is not acceptable, and I see nothing but trouble and problems for this country if it is run by someone who sees all of us as pawns to be bought, sold, or traded, like one of his businesses. Once again, let me make this point:

Both of these men were respected and protected by their communities, the MORMON CHURCH. You should not be any more ready for children of both genders to live as pawns to be bought and sold by Romney than you are for Jeffs to get his hands on your daughters.
