School Walkout On March 14

In response to loosely translated and barely enforced laws in America concerning the ownership and uses of firearms, students in American public schools are planning a seventeen minute walkout on March 14, to recognize the loss of seventeen students in Parkland, Florida to a mass shooting at a school and to protest the current interpretation of the Second Amendment of the Constitution. Well and good; the First Amendment applies to students in public schools, along with everyone else in this country.

Schools have responded to this idea differently. Some schools have allowed it, some schools have discouraged it, and other schools are threatening to impose unconstitutional sanctions to students who exercise their First Amendment rights and walk out for seventeen minutes. A lot of schools are making threats of inappropriate sanctions, seemingly without contacting the attorneys that represent their school boards. Beyond counted the seventeen minutes of missed class time as an unexcused absence for each student who walks out, a school really does not the legal authority to back up their claims of having children arrested for walking down hallways and through doors. Something public schools should recognize, prior to criticizing children for demanding change is that because of our leaders, Trump in particular, advocating the notion teachers should carry loaded weapons to class, children feel even less safe in school than they did before the last mass shooting at a school. In Kansas, schools actually began the 2013-2014 school year without insurance  because of lax gun laws in Kansas. 

School Shootings And Northeast Kansas

Marshall County, Kentucky; January 24......16 children shot by someone outside the school, 2 of them were killed. Here's a letter written by a child who witnesses the shooting and buried a friend, as a result.

Broward County Florida, February 14.....17 children killed by a former student, who had been expelled because he enjoyed taking guns to school.

Marshall County Kansas, Frankfort, March thru May of 2014......an eighteen year old high school senior who was out of jail on bond and on probation for a previous crime took a gun to school with him. While he was expelled, he was allowed back into the building seven weeks later for commencement, in violations of the Gun Free School Zones Act, which mandates that such a student be barred from entering the building for an entire year. Dean Dalinghaus, the principal, has a habit of rudely accusing anyone who does not want guns inside of Frankfort School of wanting the school to be like "an inner city school"! He then proceeds to all of the other parents and children with derisive comments about the parent who wishes to ban guns from the school. As it happens, Dalinghaus neglected to make the proper reports about the incident in 2014 to the FBI, and had not even told the Kansas Department of Education that an arrest had been made at Frankfort High School involving a student and a gun. That's how well some schools enforce the law.

A Better Cop Story

And tonight, we have a law enforcement account that it better than the average cop story of late. In September, a young man named Jamal Rutledge was arrested by Officer Foulks, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While booking Rutledge, Foulks suffered a cardiac arrest. Rutledge immediately alerted others in the police station in order to get someone to administer CPR to Foulks. Next week, the department plans to publicly thank Rutledge and the officers who responded, saving Foulks's life.

In Case You Missed Church This Sunday

Lets see....reasons for missing church on Sunday, besides, of course, the fact that you already have a social circle and do not need a one-size-fits-most fantasy in your life......If you are in Florida, and are underage, you may have missed church because a registered sex offender is the pastor, and as a result, children are banned from Sunday services! That's right, an adults only church!

Apparently, this is for real. Reverend Darrell Gilyard has a criminal record and a permanent listing in the sex offender registry for making the wrong moves with teenage girls, and rather than simply finding another pastor, one who does not commit sex crimes, his congregation opted to retain his "services"! As if that wasn't outrageous enough, in a faithful and deluded sort of way, the congregation of his church now wants the restrictions that apply to sex offenders concerning contact with children lifted, as a special favor, in Gilyard's "special" case! Geesh! If such a thing is granted to Gilyard, the door and pearly gates will be open for every sex offender to lobby for the right to access children again. But the good people of the baptist church all know Gilyard has changed. Medical science makes no difference to them; they want their children exposed to this man. So; Jesus grants a special favor to Christians in the form erasing any requirement that Christians obey the laws, and the church, once again, favors sex offenders.

Children really do not belong in church.

When Judges And Lawyers Clash

What does one do when one's lawyer and the judge get into a fistfight? On the surface, it appears quite funny, and everyone in this Brevard County, Florida courtroom cheered and clapped when the judge challenged a defense attorney to a physical fight, and the two of them went out into the hallway to settle their differences like kindergartners. Sure, it's amusing, but even though neither of them has been charged with a crime, as of yet, they were separated from each other, kinda like sparring siblings, separated from each other by Mom. That means that a client represented by this particular defense attorney in a case heard or tried by this particular judge had to either hire a different attorney or ask for a change of venue. This could have the unfortunate effect of delay of trials and all other court decisions, as Judge John C. Murphy is now on a temporary leave of absence so he can attend anger management classes, and all of his cases have been reassigned to other judges.

Prior to committing assault, the judge was in the process of scheduling a trial date for someone facing two charges of assault. Won't it be awkward if Judge Murphy encounters a former defendant from his own courtroom at anger management class?

In Case You Slept Through Church On Sunday

If you slept through church on Sunday in Broward County, Florida, you need not despair. You can still get some religious action by attending a town or county council meeting, or even a state legislative session. Chaz Stevens has respectfully requested the honor of opening these civil gatherings with a prayer, now that the Supreme Court has voted to allow such vehicles to begin their proceedings this way, via Greece v. Galloway. Stevens intends to offer a prayer to Satan, rather than the expected Jesus, or "god". This should pose no problems, as a prayer is a prayer, and one person's religion is just as valid as another's, right? Christians seem to be experiencing serious reactionary symptoms now that a few of them are faced with the requirement of equality.

Naked Woman Ransacks MacDonalds

A naked woman got mad and ransacked a MacDonald's in Florida. Well.....almost naked. Someone called the cops, and they came in and watched, allowing the woman to throw cash registers and ice cream machines around the restaurant until she ran out of energy. These cops were male, by the way. Now we know how to keep the swat team at a safe distance: be a naked woman!

How come no one ever does anything like that when I'm around?

George Zimmerman Is Scared Of Vigilante Justice

George Zimmerman has been found not guilty of the second degree murder of Trayvon Martin in Florida, and now he is worried about vigilante justice. Why didn't he worry about vigilante justice before he confronted Martin? The media has covered a lot of material today about the verdict in the trial, and about possible riots, and racism, but there remains one question does not appear to have been properly answered by Zimmerman, or by anyone else. That question is, why didn't Zimmerman just leave Martin alone and stop following him when the police dispatcher told him to stop? George Zimmerman is not a police officer, and often enough, civilians who interfere with police officers, or even look like they might be thinking about interfering with police officers but have not actually done so, get arrested and/or shot, so why did Zimmerman think he was special the night of the shooting? That question was not properly revisited during the trial, and if Zimmerman had simply done what law enforcement asked him to do, Martin would still be alive.

Now that Zimmerman has been found not guilty, he should be getting back to work, which is probably a good thing, because there is plenty of ground for a wrongful death suit to be filed, against the gated community where Martin was staying with his father, the neighborhood watch that chose Zimmerman in the first place, and George Zimmerman, himself. The guidelines for proof are not as stringent in civil court as they are in criminal court, and there is a good chance that a defendant may be found responsible for wrongful death in civil court. That would mean that a good paying job would be essential, especially of the defendant is Zimmerman. Hopefully, vigilante justice will not play as heavy of a role in the future as it apparently did on the night a seventeen year old accidently looked like someone a neighborhood watch dude might not like.

ACLU Writes Cease And Desist Letter To My Old School

Yesterday, I noticed this article on Yahoo News, about a high school student in Maryland who was sanctioned for refusing to recite the Pledge of Allegience at school. Because I went to high school in Maryland, I read the article. In order to find out more, I clicked on this link. When I noticed the words, "Montgomery County", I became a bit more interested, because I lived in Montgomery County as a child. Then, I noticed that the school was the very school from which I graduated. My jaw dropped in shock, because back in my day, anyone who said the Pledge of Allegience would have been suspected of indulging in hallucinagens. Not that anyone was disloyal, or ungrateful for where we lived, but no one at my high school forced anyone to recite anything that even remotely resembled a religious prayer or chant. Apparently, my old school has changed, and not for the better.

The biggest complaint most well educated people have with the Pledge of Allegience is the "One nation under 'God' " part. While I agree with the offense thereby taken, the reason I taught my own children not to recite it has to do with the ending of it........"with liberty, and justice for all". To me, that part of the Pledge is nothing short of a giant sham and lie, as we do not have, support, or even attempt liberty and justice for ALL in this country. Why pretend that we do? We are still a great country, but I do not see the need to encourage my children to believe that we have attained a level of greatness and benevolence that we actually have not attained......so my children do not have to recite the Pledge of Allegience at any school they attend.

The student who was punished and publicly humiliated in Maryland got the American Civil Liberties Union involved in her case, and they have written the school a "cease and desist" letter. The administrator and faculty would be wise to heed it. While we are on the subject of constitutional rights, here is another disturbing case, from Florida. The father of a fourth grader found the beginnings of an essay in the little boy's backpack. The teacher had assigned an essay on this subject:

 

And to that, Benjamin Franklin had this to say: “He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security.”

 

That little boy is now home schooled. Thank the Gods his father was paying attention. Hopefully, more parents will open their eyes.

 

 

Bubble Bubble Toil Trouble

On Thursday, March 28, someone decided to shoot at the home of a Florida author of childrens books because of her Pagan religion. Kyrja Withers has been noticing harassment, such as people stopping their vehicles outside her house, and screaming obscenities intermittently with the word "witch", for some time now, but this is the first time someone has shot at her. Witchcraft and different persuasions of Paganism are, indeed, religions that are recognized as such by the United States Constitution, and shooting at someone, or committing any other type of assault or harassment for reasons of religion qualifies these actions as hate crimes. That makes matters much more serious.

 

 

Stuff Not To Do In Court

This girl thought it was somehow in good taste to flip the bird at a Florida magistrate judge. He held her in contempt, and gave her thirty days in jail. Her public defender probably got the sentence reduced...but still.....wouldn't it have been easier to just keep the fingers unextended long enough to get bailed out of jail?

The only other person whom I have actually seen in the act of flipping the bird at a judge was my ex husband, during a hearing about a restraining order. The subject of child support came up, and when he was told how much he should pay every month, he extended his policeman finger to the judge. So she upped the amount, and kept doing so until he calmed down. Later on, he got the same judge for a criminal matter. She threw the book at him then, too.
 

 

Update On Florida's Voting Restrictions

 

 

This video is from four years ago. It still happens to be relevant, so I put it up here. There has been an update to the situation in Florida that drove Democrats to sue to keep hours extended for early voting, so that everyone would get a chance to vote, even the forty-seven percent that are so maligned and hated by the Mormon Republican Wannabe, Mitt Romney. It seems that now more people will get to vote without having, literally, to wait all night in line, because the Supreme Court ordered it. Now; if we could only get the people in the Romney camp to stop trying to blow up the forty-seven percent of people who might be inclined to vote for Obama, the election and storm clean up might go smoothly on the East Coast. Explosives! Nixon's camp didn't even stoop that low! It's becoming easier and easier to slam the door in the faces of Mormon missionaries.

 

 

Florida Republicans Try To Restrict Voting

Seems there is nothing less surprising than a bunch of Republicans trying to stop others from voting. Florida has taken the measure of reducing the number of days one may cast an early ballot. This action, of course, was undertaken by Republicans, noteably the Republican governor. Why can't an election just be an election? Why must the Republican party try so hard to manipulate the results and give the people what they don't want, instead of what they do want? Some people are even being forced to wait until one-o'clock in the morning to vote because of long lines. Nonetheless, I hope everyone votes.

 

Terri Horman Gets Another Fifteen Minutes Of Fame

On September 14, 2012, John Walsh, of America's Most Wanted will feature Kyron Horman's missing persons case. He did this once in the past, but only to show Kyron's picture, not to speak about the case in depth. The new episode; however, will discuss the case in depth. Terri Horman was just another bored housewife before June 4, 2010, when seven year old Kyron disappeared from his school in Portland Oregon. Then she failed two polygraphs while discussing her activities on that day with law enforcement and made national headlines. Further problems with her testimony picqued the curiosity of reporters and bloggers, and she has been a subject of discussion ever since. On June 1, of this year, she made the headlines again, when Kyron's mother, Desiree Young, filed suit against her for custodial interference. Of course, Terri's lawyers tried very hard to have this case dismissed, but that did not work. There is publicity for Terri every time a motion is filed in that case and every time a decision is made. And now there is coverage by America's Most Wanted. It looks like Terri Horman just can't get any privacy these days! What's really interesting is that John Walsh thinks that Terri might be culpable in some way for Kyron's disappearance! Imagine that! John Walsh is planning to detail how the evidence points to Terri. She'll be famous, once again. How exciting for her family..........

There have been tips given to authorities about Kyron that have not been verfiable from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Texas, Florida, and probably more places. There is also a $50,000 reward. Hopefully, if Kyron has not been located before this episode of America's Most Wanted airs, the tip that will bring him home will be called in to the show. After Kyron is home and Terri's fifteen minutes of fame are over, things will eventually become bearably routine again for her parents and her adult son. After Kyron is home.

Note To Gun Owner

Someone had a handgun stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in Florida recently. He got it back the other day, with a note about safe storage of weapons. I could not agree more. Please; if you have firearms, don't leave them where children can find them.

 

Morgan Keyanna Martin

The last time seventeen year old Morgan Keyanna Martin, or St. Petersburg, Florida, was seen was around 12:30 AM on July 25. She is four months pregnant, and her baby's father, whom she met online, had visited her apartment to "talk" to her. At 12:30 AM......yeah. Fast forward to now....no one has seen or heard from her. She has not called anyone, and she has not logged into her Facebook account or checked her email. All that is being said by police or by her family about the baby's father is that he is twenty-six years old and from Kansas City. No name, no description, not even the specific of whether his stomping grounds are in Kansas City, Kansas; or Kansas City, Missouri. With more details, the public might be able to help locate Morgan a lot more easily. Anyway, here is a drivers' license picture below. Anyone who knows any details concerning Morgan Martinez or her whereabouts should call law enforcement in Florida at 727-893-7780.

Possible Kyron Sighting In Manatee Florida

There has been nothing new in Kyron Horman's case in a long time, yet I still keep hoping to read the news and see that he has been found. Today, I noticed this, and I will share part of it with you. It's from News Manatee County , dated for Monday of this week.

MANATEE COUNTY, Florida [NMT] -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports a local man and his mother may have spotted missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman, who now would be nearly 10 years old, at the Lowe's store located at 4012 14th Street West, Bradenton, on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at about 11 a.m.

On the morning of Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at about 9:30 p.m., a man called the sheriff's office to say that while he was at Lowe's the previous day attempting to find a parking spot, he noticed a young boy holding the hand of an older female that "appeared strange." As the man was about to pull into a parking space located near the front doors of the store, he waited for the two to pass, and gestured so they would pass.

The boy and older woman then approached the side of the man's vehicle and said that they have never done this before, but they needed money so they could get on the bus and find a place to stay. Both the man and his mother suggested they go and stay at the Salvation Army. The boy and the woman responded by telling them they have been there and were turned down because they were filled up.

The man and his mother felt bad and told the boy and the woman they would give them money, but had to go inside the store to get change. After they retrieved the change, they left the store, but the boy and the woman were nowhere to be found.

Both the man and his mother thought they had seen the boy previously and had a funny feeling about what had happened.

The man went home and started looking on the Internet and found a boy that he described to deputies as identical to a boy by the name of Kyron Horman (the report spelled his first name as "Kyler"), who was missing out of Portland, Oregon. The man looked at multiple pictures of the boy and was positive it is the boy he had seen in the Lowe's parking lot, because of a "unique shaped head and unique smile."

The man read articles about Kyron Hormon online and discovered "the stepmother in the case who is a suspect has friends in Florida who may be aiding in the case."

Come home Kyron!

Aliahna Lemmon's Killer Was Wanted In Florida

This is amazing. Just before Christmas, an Indiana girl, nine year old Aliahna Lemmon, was brutally murdered by one of her mother's male "friends". "Mommy" had the flu, and sent her three daughters over to Michael Plumadore's trailer for a week. A week. Let me digress for a moment to say that yours truly once took an IV out of her arm at the hospital during a blood transfusion because one of her children needed her. The transfusion got rescheduled because my child came first. End of story. My hemoglobin was 6.5, too, but my daughter was more important to me. How could a flu become a reason to ignore one's children during a holiday week? That, alone, is sickening. But here's something even worse: this Michael Plumadore, in whose trailer Aliahna was sent to die, has a criminal record, is a convicted felon, and was wanted for violation of probation in Florida!

How the hell does one get to know another person well enough to babysit one's children for a whole week without knowing about the pastimes had by the chosen "babysitter" that occasionally end up in arrest records, attorney fees, and court dates? (not necessarily in that order!) Another interesting bit of data here is that Plumadore has a Facebook page, which became invisible last night.......either he gets computer access in jail, or one of his trailer park buddies deleted it for him.......that would have told authorities in Florida exactly where to find his sorry ass if they were really looking for him! But, apparently, they weren't. His criminal record in Florida, by the way, was for assualting a police officer. Anyway, back to my original point, the people who knew this creep well enough to call him a "friend" probably were well aware of his criminal record, and of the fact that he was a fugitive from justice in Florida! Something else I find interesting and equally disgusting is that Aliahna's grandmother still defends this trailer trash creep! According to the Daily Mail, UK, she had this to say:

"Despite the confession, the little girl's grandmother, Amber Story, stood by Plumadore.

'I don't care what anybody says. Mike did nothing to her. He loves those girls,' she told the News-Sentinel."

If that isn't denial, then it's definately choosing the friendship of a known criminal over the love of a grandchild. The only reason I can think of for a grandmother or a mother to make a choice like that is the event of said grandmother or mother having a criminal background of her own that she does not want discussed with law enforcement. Nauseating. If Grandma had turned Creepo in to the police, instead of covering for him, he would have been behind bars in Florida, serving the rest of his sentence for assualting a police officer, and not in Indiana, murdering a nine year old child!

This brings me to something that has occured to me as a possible motive for the killing. The first statements I noticed from the media quoting Aliahna's family were quite disparaging to Aliahna. Comments about her ADHD, vision and hearing loss, ecetera. I think Aliahna was a lot more savvy than the entire trailer park wanted anyone to think she was. In fact, I think Aliahna was not on board with the "cover for our criminal friends" mentality at all, and these people, Mommy and Grandma included, depended on the rest of the world NOT taking her seriously, or believing a word she said while she was alive, because more than one person in Trailerparkland, Indiana, was wanted by police for something or other, and her testimony could easily put people in jail. Yes, indeed. I think keeping guilty people out of jail was more important to Grandma than Aliahna, and I think it still is. Someone also accused Aliahna of having Oppositional Defiant Disorder! I guess to people who want to lead lives of crime, a child who wants to fly right and be productive WOULD appear defiant!

The other thing that could have saved Aliahna's life, but didn't, was the judicial system in Florida. Plumadore was clearly a fugitive from justice, and he was clearly on Facebook, along with enough personal information for authorities in Florida to find him. Does anyone remember the Jaycee Dugard case? Phillip Garrido was on probation the entire eighteen years he held Jaycee captive. Proper supervision in his case would have given Jaycee back her childhood. Proper supervision of Michael Plumadore would have given Aliahna Lemmon back her life. Shame on Florida.

Below is the creep, himself, lying to police and sending searchers in all the wrong directions, before he confessed. Should anyone who knew Michael Plumadore's history in Florida, and that he was wanted for violation of probation, get a free pass here?

 

Here's A Cold Case For You, Terri Horman

It's Monday, the day when I regale Terri Horman, stepmother of nine year old Kyron Horman, who disappeared in June of 2010, when he was seven years old, with a story about a cold case from American history that was solved. It is my hope, not only to give Terri something to find when she googles herself on the internet, but to also show everyone a picture of Kyron, one more time, in hopes that someone may recognize him so that he can finally go home to his parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.

Here's Kyron, showing how he looks from a side profile. Most of his pictures show him smiling, but if he is seen out in public, he will probably look more natural, like he does in this picture. Possibly sporting a different hairstyle.

Ok....Terri....for today's cold case; have you ever heard of John Wayne Gacy, a serial killer who used to live in Florida? There were, at one time, a lot of cold cases connected to him. Now, there are about eight. But the cold case of  Harold Wayne Lovell, who left home in May, 1977, and was not seen by his family again for thirty-four years, just got solved. Since no one could find him, and the serial killer who murdered dozens of other men in Florida during the 1970's was finally arrested in 1978, it was assumed that Lovell was one of Gacy's victims, and no one bothered to look for him anymore. Seriously......that's kinda disconcerting.....because Lovell was STILL ALIVE. He was not one of Gacy's victims at all! Gacy was given the death penalty, and was executed in 1994. Since then, Florida has been identifying the unidentified victims, one by one, taking advantage of updated DNA technology. In one last attempt to identify their brother's remains, Lovell's siblings went to the police station to offer DNA that could be compared to Gacy's yet unidentified victims, but they noticed a recent booking photo on the wall.........................even though they had not seen their brother in thirty-four years, they were certain it was him. His name, and every other bit of information the police had about him matched up! So instead of a belated funeral, Mr. Lovell got a bus ticket home! He had just not contacted anyone because he didn't have the greatest family relationships in 1977, and mistakenly thought no one wanted to hear from him.............

So how could this possibly relate to you, Terri? I don't know....hopefully, it doesn't. But know this: Kyron's picture is much more widely circulated than Harold Wayne Lovell's picture. Yet it only took one look at Lovell's picture by the right person, even after thirty-four years, for Lovell to be recognized. Someday, someone will find Kyron. I don't know how it will happen, I don't know when it will happen; but I do know that many, many people want Kyron found. To date, Terri, YOU, and YOUR PARENTS, and possibly your biological son and your attorney are the only people involved in Kyron's life who have not acted with any obvious desire for Kyron to come home. This is why I address all of these cold cases to you. If you know something, I think you need to come forward, Terri.

Another Cold Case For Terri Horman

It's Monday again. Already. And it's time for me to tell Terri Horman, stepmother of Kyron Horman and defacto kidnapping suspect, who will not cooperate with authorities and help find her stepson, about a cold case that baffled authorities but was solved either by painstaking detective work, statements made by witnesses, or just good, old fashioned luck. Here's a recent story; it's about a kiddie-porn perp. His name is  Eric Antwan Bell, and he apparently began his life of crime sometime in 2007. It came to the attention of law enforcement in Florida that he was using adult prostitutes (who sound like accomplices to me) to lure underage girls into his home. Then he would molest them, and film this activity. He made his living by selling this footage on the internet. But when victims helped police put together a profile, with a name and face.......something other than Santana, which he used as an anonymous moniker...........he fled. But he had connections to New York and New Jersey, and probably several other places up and down the East Coast, and since his trade involved selling kiddie porn online, he left an electronic trail. His pattern of abuse followed by victims' statements also spoke for itself. He was finally caught in New Jersey earlier this month, where he had moved and established residency.

So what do things like this have to do with people like you, Terri? Oh......I don't know. Perhaps nothing. But; if Kyron's kidnapper and any accomplices use the internet, or leave any type of personal or electronic trail anywhere, and everyone does-it's the nature of existance on this plane, details will eventually work their way into the open. The sooner Kyron comes home, the better it will be for everyone, including the person who took him.
