In Case You Slept Through Church This Sunday

If you slept through church on Sunday, you probably were not in Vatican City, where a topless woman recently kidnapped Baby Jesus from the manger at the nativity and got hauled away by a cop. The cop did not shoot her, by the way. 

How come no one ever gets naked and steals Baby Jesus out of a manger when I'm around? I could use the entertainment!

An Arrest Concerning The Missing Lyon Sisters

There is now an arrest in connection to the missing Lyon sisters, who disappeared in Maryland in 1975, after walking to Wheaton Plaza, but it is not the arrest for which so many of us had hoped. Instead of a perpetrator and direct answers, after almost forty years, the wife of a "person of interest" decided to lie to the grand jury in Virginia about a matter that is of material importance to the case. Richard Welch, of Hyattsville, Maryland, has been named a person of interest in this case, along with his jailbird nephew, Lloyd Lee Welch. Some land owned by their family, in Bedford, Virginia, has come onto the radar of authorities in the recent past, and witnesses who know the involvements of these two men have been asked to testify. Now Patricia Welch, Richard Welch's wife, has been arrested for testifying falsely in the case. Some have argued that spousal privilege should apply in Welch's case when answering questions about a matter involving her husband, but there is also at least one other person of interest, and no one has yet been charged. The only person Ms. Welch has a legal right to protect at this point in the investigation is herself, yet if she does that, there is a chance that she will incur closer scrutiny. She really should have consulted an attorney about any conflicting or untrue testimony. If she has guilty knowledge, or had decided, on her own, when, or if, the Lyons could have long overdue information concerning their missing daughters, and was still using her own timetable for sharing it, authorities will hopefully throw the book at her.

People who think they do not have to comply with federal law, especially concerning testimony related to crimes against children, are disgusting. Anyone who can help in this case should call the police in Montgomery County, Maryland at 240-773-5070.

Naked Woman Ransacks MacDonalds

A naked woman got mad and ransacked a MacDonald's in Florida. Well.....almost naked. Someone called the cops, and they came in and watched, allowing the woman to throw cash registers and ice cream machines around the restaurant until she ran out of energy. These cops were male, by the way. Now we know how to keep the swat team at a safe distance: be a naked woman!

How come no one ever does anything like that when I'm around?

Reasons Why Kansans Are A Problem For The Real World

A friend of mine shared this on Facebook. I was embarrassed, because this Republican creep is right here, in Kansas, coming forward with yet another truly stupid, Kansas-style statement. We have Kansans who feel that people with sickle cell anemia and thalassemias should report directly to work when medical advice recommends transfusions. We have Kansans who deny disabled children education that is equal to that of other children. We even have a county attorney in Marshall County who suspends the medical care of inmates in the county detention center when they insist upon jury trials and refuse to plead guilty to charges. This prosecutor isn't even concerned when these tactics result in death.  And now we have a Republican representative who thinks that a woman does not need birth control over the age of fifty. I wonder if he realizes just how risky a pregnancy can be after that age? 

This is why we have to stop getting our representatives at Kmart, folks. Seriously. And Kansas, there have been some really stupid statements made by politicians in the past, but this comment really stands out. Before you guys hate on me,(Frankfurters, I'm looking at you, here) and send me all those rude comments, some containing dialogue that is so rife with obscene language that I can barely understand you, stop and think about this. Why not direct your pith toward people like Allan Rothlisberg? 

Of course, the people in Frankfort Kansas will probably expect a pregnant woman over fifty to donate blood when she discovers that her hemoglobin is around six, and she needs a transfusion. They'd expect her to forgo medical care from an obstetrician, too.

Two granddaughters of Fred Phelps, the Grand Poobah of fundy hatred, himself, have decided to leave his organization in search of a more sensible way of life and better relationships with others. It's true.....for those who were wondering if there really IS a God!

Endorsement Romney Does Not Have

Mitt Romney already thinks he's entitled to everything. Even the endorsement of a former candidate, namely Michelle Bachman, when she did not give it! That's right, the Boston Globe announced Michelle Bachman's endorsement of Mitt Romney! I am actually in full support of her response......she wants the Boston Globe to retract that statement.

What really happened here? Lets see.......Michelle Bachman is a woman. In Mitt Romney's world, women can be manipulated and pushed around in any way a Morman male see fit. If you don't believe me, just look at Warren Jeffs. You can also take a look at the blog of Sean Cruz, for more information. Since Michelle Bachman has dropped out of the race, Mitt Romney probably thought he could take advantage of her name for an endorsement that had not been granted. Just another slick business move, from a sexist living in a world where the actual opinion and career of the woman he tried to use doesn't matter, anyway. And the Boston Globe is in Boston, which is in the state where Mitt became governer, and Mitt probably has a "relationship" with the Boston Globe. In fact, the party that really wants to endorse Mitt Romney is probably the Boston Globe. We know it's not Michelle Bachman, because she has come out and told us this.

Why doesn't Mitt Romney go ahead and announce the Boston Globe's endorsement, instead of another person's? After all, the Boston Globe is a corporation, and corporations are people, too. That should count, right, Mitt?
