Donald Trump Lied About The Wiretaps

Well, what else is new? Donald Trump lied about the character of a good person. As it happens, his claim that President Obama wiretapped his silly-assed phone conversations at Trump Tower was a complete fabrication. Yes, there was an investigation in progress. When people constantly involve themselves in fraud, money laundering, civil torts of almost all descriptions, and lie constantly, various law enforcement agencies tend to investigate. Especially when said people do those things with our nation's enemies. If Donald Trump cannot do the time, however it may present itself, he should not do the crime(s).

How's The Coffee?

Businesses that allow you to use their wifi are nice, aren't they? Especially when coffee is served nearby!  I've noticed you, quite a few times, here on my site. You spend quite a bit of time, checking and double checking certain posts; my tracker records all of it. In fact, my tracker has a name for you: it is 107.217.92.84. You've been doing this for a couple of years now, not always from the above IP, but; nonetheless, reading and rereading all of this site's posts about a certain subject.

Usually, such interest in a topic is accompanied by a relevant comment or an email, with a coherent question and identifying information from the sender. As long as the contact is friendly, and no threats or other ugliness is involved, there is never a problem. So.......in the past couple of years, what have you so fervently sought here, on this site? What do you want?

As for the posts that seem to grab your attention, they are not going away. The current information surprised yours truly, as well as quite a few others, but it stood up to fact checks and is, sadly, true. If you actually care about the person involved, you should tell her to make amends and reparations. I intend to continue to write about the matter until it is completely amended. I will also cover it elsewhere, because it is public information, and this is an election year. Since this site is my personal blog, I also have posts on the subject already published, scheduled to appear on certain dates. No matter what happens, those posts will appear at the time they are scheduled to appear. Even if the entire Midwest, from.....ahem....Zionsville, Indiana to Colorado suddenly ceases to exist, the posts on the subject that interests you so much will appear! The only person who can interfere is yours truly.

Bugbee, Once Again

In November, a Kansas minister by the name of James Bugbee (Washington Christian Church, Washington, Kansas) was arrested for inappropriate sexual conduct with a child. Bugbee is a youth pastor, by the way. There's a bit of a revision to the story now. It seems that Bugbee has also given Kansas cause to suspect him of "theft by deception". He allegedly held two fundraisers for some alleged cancer, with which, as it happens, Bugbee was NOT afflicted. He told his churchmates that he was using the money to travel abroad for "treatment".He then proceeded to use the money to pay personal expenses that had nothing to do with medical problems or travel. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security investigated. In addition, there are three more counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a child, three more counts of sexual exploitation of a child, one count of unlawful sexual  relations, and according to the February 19, 2015 edition of the Marysville Advocate, he has also been accused of sending inappropriate texts to a local high school student.

On Boys Who Don't Really Go To Heaven

Alex Malarkey, (what a name for a kid who recants best-selling biographical literature!) has recanted the story line of his best seller, The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven, stating that he made the whole story up, and that he did it to gain attention. Unfortunately, his father seems to own his intellectual rights to his story, be it fantasy or not, and his rights to make changes to it have been horribly impeded. The publisher decided to take the book out of print and remove it from retailers' shelves, anyway. Another junior fantasy writer, Colton Burpo, (one more interesting surname for a kid who's been discouraged from critical thinking) was recently promoted in Marysville, Kansas, and captured the interest of many fans who care about delusional interpretations of christian dogma, but apparently do not care about exploitation of children. Burpo has yet to recant, but when he does, are the christian morons who bought his book and his story going to settle down and shut the hell up? A quote from the article in the Marysville Advocate (no offence, Sarah Kessinger, you are not at fault for the subject matter) states:

Alice Jones, Frankfort, thought the presentation was “absolutely wonderful. They did a good job of explaining their situation and how it changed their lives,” she said. “They gave God the praise for it. I thought they were very sincere in their story,” she said. “They are just common people, like you and I, and they put that across really well. It makes me excited that they have decided to glorify God by their appearances in various places.”

Alice Jones, of Frankfort, is the library director who determined, when a child participating in a school sponsored program in the library showed up under the influence of alcohol and drugs, that "Jesus" had spoken with her, in her head, telling her that she should not contact school administration and law enforcement, as required by state and federal law, and report the underage drinking and use of illicit drugs by the child. She actually had the gall to explain the alleged words of Jesus to the parent of another child, who also participated in the school sponsored program at the library. The parent of the other child was not only angered at her child's first exposure to underage drinking and illegal drugs, but was rather offended at the idea that someone's deity would determine that it's permissible to violate the law and harm children who are not criminals or drunks, because Jesus had "authorized" it! Does this sound like a religion that anyone should actually practice? Or does it sound like fraud and delusion? If Jesus really thinks that it is okay to violate the law in order to protect a child involved in crime to the endangerment of other children, perhaps federal authorities should partner with local police departments to investigate christian churches more often.

Malarkey and Burpo are examples of children who suffer from mass hysteria, and Alice Jones typifies an adult suffering from similar delusions. Unfortunately, both children have been exploited by others and have had the rights to their intellectual property pracatically raped. Alice Jones is an example of an adult who suffers from a cultural, or mass delusion. The fact that she was breaking the law by allowing minors to drink and abuse drugs at the public library was unimportant to her, as was the well being of all witnesses. Alex Malarkey has already apologized for his part in the corruption of his story. The family whose child was exposed to crime and addiction at the direction of Jesus and the delusion of Alice Jones is still waiting for an apology.

I really don't know who the hell you think you are, or why you, personally, feel that the same laws that apply to everyone else do not apply to you, but quite a few people in your neck of the woods seem to have an unfounded notion that as long as the isolated community agrees with your special crime, there should be no consequences! To which I respond: if you can't do the time, don't do the crime!

What the hell were you hiding, or trying to prevent? Just because of the support, in the form of enabling. you seem to attract, I'm pretty sure something is rotten in the State of Denmark, so to speak. Why don't you and your ilk manage your lives legally, from now on, like those of us who do not hail from this area, and stop using unlawful means of manipulating information? Because of the geographic location of a few of your "friends", perhaps federal attention should be given to all this!

Kansas Gas Station Forced Customer To Pay Twice

A gas station in Kansas sold $85.11 to a customer over the weekend. She paid with a MasterCard; which, she was told, was declined. So she settled the transaction with her Visa. After getting back into her vehicle, she called the bank through which her MasterCard line of credit is extended to find out why her card was declined. Imagine her surprise when she was told that the transaction was not declined at all, but approved, and had already been paid! The customer service representative told her to go back inside the gas station and request that the transaction be voided and her money credited.

The customer went back inside and told the clerk about the phone call to the bank. The clerk insisted, despite the bank's claim that the sale was approved, that the sale had been declined. The clerk also claimed that she "did not know" how to credit a transaction! The customer then requested that she call her supervisor to resolve the conflict of having been forced to pay twice. The supervisor got the number of the bank from the customer and promised to call the bank. A few minutes later, the customer called him back, and he said that he had called the bank and that he had been told that the transaction did not go through. Then, he told the customer that he would not "pay" her anything, and asked her if she "scammed money off credit cards for a living"!

Meanwhile, back at the bank, the customer was later told that the supervisor had never called. So....at this writing, it quite looks as if he lied. A customer was forced to pay twice for her a purchase of $85.11, and then accused of "scamming credit cards for a living". This city in Kansas prides itself on being a quaint small town with a friendly atmosphere, by the way. An accusation of theft to an honest person certainly does not qualify as "friendly", and the whole interaction, from an approved purchase being reported as declined, and twice as much money extorted as was actually owed very much reeks of credit card fraud and possibly of identity theft.

In addition, the Federal Trade Commission keeps a record of each and every complaint received. While it does not get involved in conflict resolution, it watches for patterns of practices, such as telling customers that approved credit cards have been declined and double billing and double charging customers. This could easily have been a deliberate attempt to scan as many credit cards, for information on magnetic strips, as possible, during a day's time.

Update On The Morals Taught By Frankfort Kansas School

Not too long ago, I mentioned the spouse of a teacher at the small public school in Frankfort Kansas, because she embezzled a bunch on money from her employer, an insurance company, and from her clients. About half a million dollars. On Monday, January 13, Monica Smart was sentenced in federal court to twenty-one months in prison. Her mother tried to buy home confinement and an ankle bracelet by paying $50,000 toward restitution, and there were some greatly exaggerated claims about an illness on the part of a family member who supposedly needs Monica's care, (ha! that's simply not true) but the judge gave her prison time, anyway. Sometime within the next month or so, Mrs. Smart will get notified that there is space at one of the womens' prisons in the country, and she will be chained up and flown to it, unless it happens to be within driving distance. That's simply not supposed to happen to frankfurters! Especially Christian frankfurters.......Jesus is supposed to protect them from getting caught when they commit crimes!

There are several reasons why this bothers me. First of all, not only Monica Smart, but her husband, Larry Smart, a public school teacher, was found to be compromised in the investigation. At this writing, he does not appear to have any charges lodged against him, but he is the subject of civil complaints connected to his wife's conduct. While she is serving time in a federal prison, he will obviously maintain sympathies toward someone who held others in contempt by stealing half a million dollars from them. If she escapes or fails to report to federal marshals, and becomes a fugitive, federal marshals will rip through everywhere to which she has a connection, in desperate and feverish pursuit. The first places they normally check, in those situations, are the family residences of fugitives. If her big poofy blond head is not found at home, they will probably try to find her husband. They may or may not care about the fact that Larry is employed at a school. I, personally, would not want a teacher to put some fugitive's interests and well being ahead of any child's, but Larry Smart is married to a convicted felon.

The moral message passed along to students is disturbing, as well. Frankfort School has had run-ins with the ACLU and federal agencies in the past concerning the disturbing habit of interfering with the cultures and religions of others; only to try, unsuccessfully, to argue that forcing religious activities is "teaching morals". Is the Smarts' complicity in embezzling, and the act of welcoming the Smarts and their crime, with open arms and no caution, an example of "teaching morals"? They used their stolen money to pay for expensive school trips and other frills that I could not afford for my children. My daughter, unaware of the embezzling, truly thought that she was not loved by her family because we do not embezzle or steal to gain such an advantage. Why would the school even play along? Why did teachers and school administration tell my children that if I loved them, I would have enough money to pay for vehicles for all of them and for trips, just as the Smarts and other teachers? (yes, the Smarts' ample provision for their childrens' luxuries was thrown in my face by angry children more than once.....only my angry children didn't realize how deeply criminal their community can be, at times) Some of the teachers at Frankfort, as well as the principal, have gone out of their way to make sure that all of my childrens' classmates knew that while others can occasionally work freely and happily from home at freelance projects, it was morally wrong for yours truly to do so. For me to take advantage of such an option made me lazy, and put my life in the category of welfare fraud, (even though I have never been on welfare) according to the frankfurter folks, and that's exactly what the sixth grade teacher told my children! It seems that being a stay at home mom is something that is afforded to those sweet Christian women who usually have open legs to go along with their open bibles; but not to me. It's not okay with Frankfort Kansas if I stay home and take care of my children. But it is okay with Frankfort Kansas if an insurance agent steals half a million dollars. She is, after all, doing something to benefit her family!

On Monday, a relative of Alice Jones, the library director who lets children bring booze and illegal drugs into the library, was still defending the Smarts. I can only guess that this woman was not a victim of the fraud and embezzling; however, speaking of Alice Jones, perhaps Monica's motive was to keep up with the Jones's. But to keep up with these particular Jones's, stealing half a million dollars needn't have been Monica's special crime: she could have just hired some high school students via Heartland Works and let them come to work drunk, straight from school, and bring some recreational prescription pills with them, right Alice Jones? Safety in the school is compromised by the husband of a convicted felon on the premises, and teaching the whole disgusting lesson that violating federal law is acceptable, as long as one gets away with it, is simply wrong. This is not the kind of example teachers should set.

In a rather glaring example of dereliction of duty, Laura Johnson-McNish attended the sentencing hearing, rather than attending to the duties of the office of Marshall County Prosecutor. She did not prosecute this case, and lost the only case she ever tried, all by herself, before a jury. Had the citizens of Kansas actually been forced to rely upon the legal expertise of Johnson-McNish, Smart would still be robbing insurance customers blind. Johnson-McNish is only effective when a defendant who has been caught red handed is willing to cop a plea, and even then, she is only marginally effective. Why did I, as a taxpayer, have to pay her salary for a day's galavanting as a spectator in proceedings to which she had no viable contribution? Taxpayers should not have to pay for Laura Johnson-McNish to satisfy her curiosity any more than they should have to pay for her to go to the movies. And why did Laura Johnson-McNish address the press on this matter?

"I would like to thank Chief Todd Ackerman, the Marysville Police Department, FBI agent Scott Gentine, and Christine Kenney, attorney with the U.S. attorney general's office, for their efforts in securing justice in this case."

Not only did she have the gall to thank those who actually are qualified to practice law and dispense justice as if they had actually done her a personal favor; she does not, and has never, cared about securing justice. No one should be fooled by McNish's pandering. Her position, as county attorney, is elected.

Facebook Felony

Luckily for all of us, Senators Al Franken, (D-MN) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) have introduced introduced legislation to narrow the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, or the CFAA, which was enacted primarily to prosecute malicious hacking, such as identity theft and bank larceny done via computers. Lately, there has been discussion by lawmakers about all sorts of things that are done online every day by innocent computer users, such as using an online moniker that is not one's actual name on a social networking website or checking one's email at work on an employer's computer. Even more shocking is the idea that using a nickname on Facebook can even be construed as a felony! A couple of cases wherein defendants have been charged and prosecuted have involved violations of the Terms Of Service agreements for various networks......but while it is understandable that a network can reserve the right to delete the account of an errant user, how is this defined, by law, as a crime, particularly a felony? The other widely committed act that is done by many, many people is the act of using a workplace computer for unauthorized purposes, such as checking one's email or surfing social media sites. It seems like a boss should have the option to reserve the right to terminate an employee who sits on Facebook or Google Plus all day, but should the employee go to jail, after being prosecuted under CFAA, and have a felony record over using an online moniker other than a legal name?

 

 

Colorado Adoptive Mother Who Misplaced Her Children Goes To Prison

This case, from Colorado, is interesting because Kansas, next door to Colorado has a very similar case. In 2000, Linda and Edward Bryant adopted two boys, Edward and Austin, who have not been seen by anyone since late 2003 or early 2004, yet, until last year, they collected various incomes from the state for each child. No one knows where Edward and Austin are, and Edward and Linda are not telling, but Colorado threw the book at both of them for fraud and theft. Edward's court date is in April of this year, but Linda was sentenced last week to fortytwo years in prison. "In her plea agreement, Bryant pleaded guilty to 4 counts of Felony Theft, 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Theft, and 48 counts of Attempting to Influence a Public Servant."....KRDO. In Kansas, we have a couple of lovebirds named Doug and Valerie Herrman, who did the same thing with their adopted son. In 1993, they adopted Adam, and some time during the fall of 1999, they "lost" him. They told the rest of their family one untrue story, Adam's biological family another untrue story, and never once bothered to inform the state, when they got Adam's stipend checks, that Adam was no longer living with them. They also never filed a missing persons report with the police. They also never cooperated with law enforcement in any of the efforts to find Adam, which took place in 2009, when Adam's biological sister finally discovered he was missing and reported it. Doug and Valerie Herrman initially entered a plea of "not guilty" to charges of theft and fraud. They changed it to "guilty" when it looked as though they might lose, in a trial involving a jury of their peers. They also thought they would avoid going to prison if they admitted that they are disgusting thieves. Their lawyer had it all worked out, too. But then they learned the hard way, a day or two before court, that judges are under no obligation to accept a guilty plea. He sent Valerie to prison for seven months, and Doug to prison for nine months. He was quite outraged about Adam. But here's the thing: how can two states that are so close together have such different penalties for the same crime? Shouldn't Doug and Valerie Herrman stay in prison for fortytwo years, too?

Cold Case Of The Week For Terri Horman

It's Monday, already. That's the day when I count on Terri Horman, our favorite defacto kidnapping suspect, to google her name on the internet and eagerly click on anything new she finds that someone has written or posted about her. Since I am reasonably sure she does this, I like to comment on one cold case a week that has been solved, against all odds, just to give her something to think about. Today, I think I will deviate from my pattern of describing a solved cold case, and talk to Terri about one that isn't solved. That way, I can get double mileage from one post...........because I think Adam Herrman deserves to mentioned once again.

So..........here it is, Terri....in 1999, eleven year old Adam Herrman, of Kansas, disappeared from his adoptive parents' home and was never seen again. The twist here is this, he had natural parents who really tried to prove to the court that they could care for him, and he had siblings who wanted to see him, too. Social Services in Kansas just didn't care. They terminated the natural parents' rights and cut off all contact between this little boy and his natual siblings. Then, the adoptive "momster" began to abuse him. It was abundantly clear to many family members that Valerie Herrman did not feel the same affection for Adam that she did for her own children. Does that sound familiar in any way, Terri Horman? One thing that really bothers me about the adoptions of children snatched by social services in Kansas is that many of the adoptive "parents" appear to do this "adopting" for a stipend from Kansas, rather than for charity. When Doug and Valerie Herrman reached a point at which the stipend no longer balenced out the inconvenience of bringing up Adam any more, Adam disappeared. They told family members that they had given Adam back to social services, and even though they were still receiving monies for Adam right in front of everyone's faces, no one questioned them about the boldface lie. Doug and Valerie Herrman are lucky I was not around, because I do not drink the same koolaide that everyone else in Kansas seems to drink, and I would have called the authorities.

One day, in 2005, Adam's natural sister wanted to see him. Valerie never told her that her brother was missing, but harshly told her not to ever call back. In 2008, when Adam would have been age of majority, she attempted to contact him again. This time, she realized that Adam was missing, and reported him as such. Kansas was pressured to find Adam, but they couldn't. They still haven't, either. One thing they did do, and it took over two years, was charge the Herrmans with fraud. Their attorneys had it all worked out with the court, too. They initially pleaded not guilty, but changed their plea. They had a deal worked out, featuring only paying part of the sum they stole from Adam back to the state, and some community service. I, and quite a few other people, were outraged. If you read my blog, you probably know this. A few days before their last court date, which was for sentencing, the judge made an interesting announcement..........he rejected their plea and had decided to send them to prison! They were under the impression that just because their lawyers had made a deal, the court HAD to accept it. They were wrong. It falls extreemly short of finding Adam, or putting them in prison forever for making Adam disappear, but I think this is something you should really think about, Terri, because the judge even stated that what happened to Adam was a big part of his decision. Seriously. And they are in prison now. So Terri...if you end up on the "defending" end of anything in court, and you still don't wanna cooperate with police and help reveal Kyron's whereabouts, do you think a court might feel the same way about you? There have been way too many missing children, nationwide, lately, and many Americans are sick of it.

 The pair of monsters who will not let their adopted son's real family take him home. Mrs. Monster appears to be crying some fake tears. Do you think the tears are for Adam? Or for her disgusting self?
