That's right; you read that correctly. Anthony Scaramucci, hired on July 21 to be the communications director of the White House, has been fired by the star of The Apprentice, Donald Trump. It seems that newly hired White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly, retired Marine Corps general and former Homeland Security secretary, was not amenable to working with someone who reminds everyone of a mob godfather apprenctice! It has been an interesting week for Scaramucci, as his wife filed for divorce for on July 27.

What Do They Know, Terri Horman?
Now that Kaine and Terri Horman are finally divorced, and more testimony concerning Rudy Sanchez, who cut the grass and did assorted landscaping tasks at the Horman's house, has been aired to the public, I am beginning to see some twisted logic to the speculation that Terri may have benefitted from the death of her husband, prior to the divorce.
Terri Horman's attorneys really want to question this landscaper and find out everything he knows, which is obvious code for "find out everything he told law enforcement after Kyron went missing". During the weeks immediately following the disappearance of Kaine Horman's seven year old son, Kyron, from his school in Portland Oregon in June of 2010, Rudy Sanchez shared with police a story of Terri Horman and her attempts to hire him to kill Kaine! This seemed rather fanciful, to say the least. I wondered if Terri had merely gotten annoyed with Kaine and carelessly wished him dead, out loud, with no regard for who might be within earshot. I also wondered if Rudy wanted his proverbial fifteen minutes of fame. I really couldn't see a motive, anywhere, for Terri to want to kill her husband. Why not just get a divorce, like most people do when irrevocably disenchanted with a spouse?
Recently, amid all the flotsam and jetsam making up the large number of published and shared pages of the Hormans' divorce order, something caught my eye in one of the responses filed by Kaine's attorney in answer to why his concerns about Sanchez's testimony is so important, both to Kaine, personally, and to his continued sole custody of their four year old daughter. In Oregon, the law favors keeping siblings together after a divorce, and Kyron is Terri's stepson. Kaine fathered Kyron with his first wife, Desiree. Terri has no custodial claim to Kyron. She does have a custodial claim to her daughter, but as her daughter is Kyron's sister, she stood a rather good chance of losing primary custody to Kaine, because of the clause in Oregon law favoring siblings remaining together. So it stands to reason that if Terri became a widow, Kyron would live with Desiree, and Terri would get to keep her daughter. Terri also pressured Desiree to sue for custody of Kyron, an arrangement that might have successfully canceled out the endeavor of keeping Kyron and his sister together; but nothing came of it.
What's an angry spouse to do? According to Sanchez, Terri met him at a restaurant, with her infant daughter in tow, and unsuccessfully solicited murder! As the story is told by Sanchez, this conversation took place some six months or so before June 4, when Kyron disappeared. It's a shame Sanchez failed to come forward at the time; so many things could have played out differently. As it happens, Sanchez was uninterested in Terri's proposition, and Terri was left to return to the drawing board. Was there some alternative plan in place, that Terri thought would eliminate the need for family court in Oregon to keep Kyron and his sister together in the event of his father's divorce? Now there actually appears to be a motive, as warped and twisted as it presents itself.
Now, almost four years later, Terri Horman and her band of merry lawyers want to know exactly what Rudy Sanchez told law enforcement, and want to question him during upcoming custody hearing, scheduled on February 10. This information is not terribly important to Kaine and Terri's daughter, as she has been without contact with her mother since June of 2010. Any visitation awarded to Terri will be guided by expert advice concerning this long absence, and whether Terri's counsel gains access to exact quotes from Rudy Sanchez to law enforcement or not, the court will probably err on the side of caution in terms of visitation, especially at first. Sanchez's answers about what he said in June of 2010 will be almost irrelevant. The only purpose to be served here is to give Terri's curiously involved defense attorney (she has, after all, NOT been charged with a crime) a better idea of the origins of allegations made when Kyron disappeared. It is all a thinly veiled attempt to gather information.
Here's an idea that Terri and her attorneys have not considered, if they want to know what the police know: Terri Horman could actually go back to Portland and sit down with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office and offer to help find Kyron. She could cooperate with them, and tell investigators everything she knows about what happened the day Kyron disappeared. She might even try telling the truth in complete enough fashion to pass a polygraph. Then, information known about the criminal investigation might, by design or by default, become known to Terri and her band of merry lawyers!

Terri Horman's New Welcome Sign
Terri Horman is finally divorced. Rather than mediate an agreement with her ex-husband, Kaine Horman, for shared custody or visitation of their five year old daughter, she avoided court as much as possible over the past three and a half years during which they have been separated, and refused to testify or explain her failed polygraphs in the ongoing missing persons case of her former stepson, Kyron Horman. Kyron disappeared from his school in Portland, Oregon, in 2010, when he was seven, and Terri is the last person reported to have seen him. Rather than assist in the effort to find Kyron, Terri and her parents, Carol and Larry Moulton, who live in Roseburg, Oregon, have opted to stay as far away from any helpful actions as possible.
Now that the divorce is finally final....sort of......custody and visitation still need to be worked out, there is one completely unusual feature in all of this: in addition to never actively seeking out the company of most other people, Terri Horman has never actively sought out the company of her daughter since she and Kaine split. While she failed two polygraphs and her versions (note the plural) of events changed at least half a dozen times concerning the day Kyron disappeared, she has not been charged with any crime; therefore, the restraining order Kaine took out against her should have simply expired, and not been renewed. In almost every domestic violence case involving a restraining or a protective order, (95% of domestic violence victims are women) the victim will be required to fight vigorously for the order, which, if granted, will last for a month or so, during which she will be required to exchange custody of her children with the respondent despite the order. After that, the order will finally expire, if the respondent does not re-offend. Why didn't matters proceed this way in the Horman case? Terri certainly has had the right, from the beginning, to fight the restrictions on seeing her daughter, even if Kaine did not want to see Terri. In a worst case scenario, a court appointed neutral party could have been appointed to assist in the custody exchanges or visitations. Most attorneys recommend this to respondents in Terri Horman's position; why didn't Terri's attorney insist upon it? What could be so terribly all-encompassing to Terri that she would forgo contact with her own daughter? And why would Terri decline any custodial time with her daughter during the child's formative years? Is her daughter no longer welcome in her life?
Speaking of "welcome", Terri Horman and her parents have erected a new sign at their home. During the month of November, Kyron's mother held a vigil in Roseburg, only to find that Terri's mother called the police, because she did not want anyone gathering near or in front of her home carrying signs bearing Kyron's picture. There was no wrongdoing in being close to the Moultons' home, and no one was sanctioned, but there is now a "No Trespassing" sign in front of the house. How incredibly welcoming. It is obviously directed to anyone involved in Kyron's missing persons case; one of his natural parents was the target. But to whom else is it directed? Anyone involved in the effort to find Kyron? Kyron's other parent? If so, how could visitation possibly take place? Extended visits, should Terri ever fight for them and get them, generally take place at the noncustodial parent's residence. Can Kaine even take her there without being accused of trespassing? As Kyron's father, the words, "Terri, where's Kyron?" are more than likely to leave his lips every time he sees her, until she clears up those failed polygraphs and multiple conflicting stories.
Suppose Terri's daughter, herself, wants to know what happened to Kyron? She is, after all, Kyron's sister. The Moultons seem to think that she will never wonder about Kyron. As an only child, Terri apparently doesn't understand the love siblings have for one another. It only makes sense that Kyron's sister will ask about him, one day; and try to find him. Does the "No Trespassing" sign apply to her presence, as well?

We're Off To See The Wizard
♫The wonderful Wizard of Oz♪♪♪
♫Because, because, because, ♪because, ♫becaaaaaaaaaauuuuse♪♪♪♪♪♪
♫Because of the............?
Hmmm. Why is that, Terri Horman? Why are you off to see the Wizard, or Steve Houze, for your divorce and familial problems, when he clearly states on his website that he is, exclusively, a criminal defense attorney? What's up with that?
The judge actually summoned you to show up in person, this time. You surprised a lot of people just by being there! But did you decide to tell the truth? If you just clear up whatever was indicating deception, back in 2010, when you were polygraphed because no one could find your stepson, Kyron Horman, everyone will probably get off your back and leave you alone, and Kaine might even let you have whatever you want in the divorce settlement. Except Kiara; you probably won't get your own way inasmuch as Kiara is concerned.
It's just a thought, Terri. Most of us don't have local prosecutors petitioning family law court for the right to officially horn in and become de facto parties in our divorces! Just click your heels together three times and tell the truth!

For Kyron Horman, Supporting New Talent
Someone shared the video below on Facebook today, concerning the parents of Terri Horman, sometime step parent of missing Kyron Horman, the Portland, Oregon, seven year old who disappeared from his school in June of 2010, during a science fair. Terri Horman was the last person to see Kyron, and has refused to testify or cooperate with law enforcement in any way, and has also failed two polygraphs. While she looks quite guilty because of those circumstances, her parents, Carol and Larry Moulton, were also present at the school when Kyron disappeared. The media has certainly not focused on their possible involvement or their responsibility to testify truthfully and help find Kyron, and they have not done a single thing to help. They have not even been willing to print and pass out flyers with Kyron's missing persons' information. What they were willing to do was hire an attorney for Terri, and what they are willing to do is take down any flyers with Kyron's picture and contact information for Multnomah County law enforcement and the FBI. That inspired the creative talent of a budding artist who did not wish to give her name but who did give me a green light to share this video, which has some excellent and amusing poetry. We will all enjoy it more when Kyron is found, hopefully alive and safe.
Note: Carol and Larry Moulton will not be seeing their grandchild, Kiara Horman, any time soon. The pending divorce between Kyron's dad and their daughter was postponed, yet again; this time until August of this year, which, interestingly, is when a lawsuit filed against Terri Horman by Kyron's mother, for custodial interferance, is scheduled to continue. August 1 was the given date for both trials. Terri Horman will only have to buy one outfit for court.
Updated note: The Social Media Police have apparently taken action against the First Amendment rights of the owner of the formerly published video. I await a reproduction of it under different auspices. Nothing threatening was contained therein, and no losses occured to any involved party as a result of the content of this video; it is my strong suspicion that a guilty person watched it, didn't like it, and made a big fuss.

Karma, Conflict, And Judge Wade McCree
Can you say "conflict of interest"? Or "karma"? Or just "McCreep"? Judge Wade McCree, in Detroit, heard a child support case, after which he threw the defendant in jail, only to boff the plaintiff and eventually have an ongoing affair with her. But then.......she got pregnant! At which time, the affair became a lot less fun. So now, she is suing him for child support. And her other ex is suing him over the conflict of interest. And Detroit is thinking that there may be judges with better judgement out there who can take the honorable Wade McCree's place on the bench. And any divorce proceedings, as his honor is married, will also require equitable division of property. What will happen to Judge McCree if he can't pay his child support?

Kaine Horman Ordered To Stay Married Until March
This is really bullshit. Peter Bunch, Terri Horman's divorce attorney, managed to get Terri and Kaine Horman's divorce hearing rescheduled, yet again, for the end of March, 2012. Why? There are people in all kinds of situations whose spouses divorce them, and sometimes, a person actually refuses to be served with papers in order to avoid proceedings. Know how I know? I had a very hard time serving my ex with papers. It reached a point at which I was given the option of simply running an ad in a local publication, announcing my intentions. Terri's problem is that she is afraid she will have to testify against herself concerning the disappearance of her stepson, Kyron Horman. To this, I raise the BS flag, because if she is not guilty of anything, there should simply not be a reason to avoid going to court, and definately no reason to want to stay married to Kaine Horman.
If I were Kaine, I would be very tempted to just withdraw my divorce action in Oregon, leave the restraining order in effect, temporarily establish residency in another state, and file for divorce there.

More Totally Crazy, Very Bad News
A man in Oklahoma, named Shaun Bosse just stole a police car. He was in the process of escaping from jail, and had just overpowered two deputies, when he saw an opportunity to grab the cop car and go. So off he went. It may sound amusing, but this man was in jail for stabbing a woman whom he had been dating for about two weeks, and her eight year old son to death, then setting their trailer on fire and killing the woman's six year old daughter, as well. Here's the story.
Ok; call me old fashioned if you will, but as many elements of this story that simply seem completely wrong, this is the one that bothers me the most: "According to court documents, Bosse told investigators that he and Griffin had been dating for about two weeks, KOCO said."
Why do single, divorced, and widowed women immediately re-enter the dating circuit and allow men they don't know, or don't know very well, access to their children?
Don't tell me that I do not know what it's like to bring up children alone, because I do. I divorced my childrens' father when my children were four, two, and eight months old. Even though my ex was found guilty of domestic violence in criminal court, the family law court judge in West Virginia denied my children child support, in part because I testified against my husband when supenoed by the criminal court system to do so, and in part, because my four year old answered the policeman's questions when my ex was arrested. She thought my four year old, now named the valedictorian of her class, btw, was a bad kid, and was disinclined to entitle her to any of her father's support. And this judge actually had the audacity to tell me this to my face............so I think I may know something about doing without the supports that are usually in place for folks who parent alone. Since it was seven years before I got married again, carefully dating only a couple of people, who did not meet my children until I had known them for at least a year or more, I think I also know a thing or two about bringing up children by myself. I had my share of financial woes, but I also bought a car and a house, while standing on my own two feet. I can honestly say that I did not need a man! I only added one to my life when I found that I had a friend who would never let me down and a partner who loves me. He is also fond of gardening, which is something I LOVE to do. I have known him for many years, and I did not immediately bring him into my childrens' lives, even after I realized that I am in love with him.
So what IS it with these single women who bring men they have just met a couple of weeks ago home to their children???? Has common sense gone out of style, along with written thankyou letters and table manners? I have a step mother who keeps telling me that I am too much of a prude, and that I am too strict with my children, and........this is precious, she keeps telling me that "everyone in Europe is more permissive about dating", and going by that criteria, she predicted that I would never find a partner who loved me. But you know what? Had I been so busy falling for every guy who made a pass at me while I was busy being the only parent my children had, I never would have formed a true partnership with my wonderful husband. Haha....not even if we both lived in Europe, where "everyone does it"!
Mr. Shaun Bosse is still on the run, so here is his picture.
