Julia Biryukova Replicates Again

So after "losing" her two year old son, Sky Metawala, in 2011, by allegedly walking away from her car and leaving him alone, never to see him again, Julia Biryukova has reproduced, yet again! She bore another son in July. Child Protective Services in Bellevue, Washington, has declared her an unfit parent. She still does not see any necessity in cooperation with efforts by law enforcement to find Sky. November 6 is the fourth anniversary of the day Sky went missing.

Biryukova's newborn son's father, Alan J. Morgan, is a career jailbird who is currently serving time in Issaquah. His latest criminal exploit was violating a protective order that Biryukova had gotten against him. It's a shame she waited until after she replicated herself to get a protective order against the sperm donor. Is there anyone in the new baby's life who can keep Biryukova's history with Sky from repeating itself?

The Rules Do Not Apply To Jerry Moran

As we are all aware, Pope Francis is in the United States, and visited Washington, DC yesterday. As only a few of us are aware, taking pictures is against the rules in the Senate Chamber on the house floor is prohibited. According to Rule IV of the Senate, it is unbecoming decorum for a representative to snap photographs there. In 1963, the rule was suspended in order to obtain the very first official picture of the United States Senate in session. Later, that same year, National Geographic requested permission to take a picture there. But guess who began snapping photos while the Pope Francis addressed the Senate, without bothering to request permission? If you guessed Jerry Moran, R-Kansas, you guessed correctly. Mr. Moran, like many other Kansas Republicans, is possessed of an idea that rules and laws that apply to others do not apply to him. Others followed the unprofessional example he set, but Moran was first to determine that senate rules are not really meant to be followed.

When this rule was first made, the internet and social media did not exist. It was merely considered rude and distracting to take pictures while members of the house were speaking, listening, or taking notes. Now that we have digital photography, mobile phones, and social media, it is not only rude to snap pictures in certain places, particularly using flash; there are other considerations. In 1981, Pope John Paul II was almost assassinated. Suppose someone with a motive to harm any person in that building had been lurking near all of the hoopla yesterday? Jerry Moran's pictures of the Pope, where he was standing, and the entire building; and his immediate uploads of the same to Twitter could have given the wrong person a perfect opportunity to "case" the perimeter and determine the exact position of every person on the floor. In essence, Jerry Moran could easily have contributed to an assassination attempt or a murder by not following the rules. But then, Moran does not appear to think that rules are important. Did he actually have an ulterior motive, or was he just setting a bad example for fun?

Washington Children Ruin Kidnapper's Day

Yesterday, in Sprague, Washington, a babysitter allowed three small children to play in a park by themselves. The youngest, twenty-two month old Owen Wright, was grabbed out of his stroller by a stranger! His older brother and sister gave chase, screaming for help as they went. Some teenagers in a car drove by and joined the chase, and the child snatching creep put the baby down.

Owen Wright is safe now, but police were unsuccessful in nabbing the kidnapper. Below are two stills, culled from surveillance footage from a nearby grocery store, which show the man's face. He is said to be about 6' 2", and about thirty to thirty-five years old. If you know him, please ruin his day even more and call the police department in Sprague at 509-477-3300.

Update: A fifteen year old kid has been arrested and identified in a line-up in connection to this crime.

Transparent, Black, And Missing In America

Here's some information that will be shared this month, in Washington, DC. It is about the unequal air time given to missing persons, children especially, who are black. When a missing person is a white, blond, blue-eyed young woman, her picture finds it's way into all the major publications and is viewed on all the major TV networks. White children are often featured, as well. Advertisers have deemed that the American public will only hear about certain things, and they do not appear willing to sponsor as much airtime for black missing people as they do for white. This greatly reduces the chances that the neglected, un-aired cases will be solved, and it is unbalanced news coverage for all concerned. Hopefully, Black And Missing In America can raise awareness and bring about changes in the way all missing persons cases are presented to the public.

Washington Politicians Can Now Inhale

Marion Barry must be very happy right now, despite the abundance of republicans in Washington, D.C. Bill Clinton is now free to inhale. Voters have decided to legalize small amounts of marijuana for "personal use"......whatever is implied by that......! One will not be free to sell, or "bootleg" weed as if it were moonshine. but one will be allowed to grow up to six plants. Why would neighboring Maryland have such a problem with a decision made by the District of Columbia, for the District of Columbia?

Disclaimer: your blogger does not advocate or support any type of recreational drug use. She simply would rather see your tax dollars and hers but to uses more productive than senseless prosecution of violators of prohibition laws.

A Kansas Customer Makes Retail Headlines

I forgot all about this! An Abilene, Kansas man happened to be in Washington on July 8, when Top Shelf, a store in Bellingham, opened and sold the first bag of recreational marijuana retailed there since 1937. It was heralded as the very first weed to be retailed in the state of Washington, but that seems unlikely, since the federal prohibition laws against it have only been in effect since 1937. The man's name is Cale Holdsworth, and since he only bought two grams, his purchase probably did not survive the trip back to Kansas! It's nice to see Kansas in the news for something other than Kris Kobach's latest legislative lunacies or Westboro Baptist Church's shenanigans.

* No, I do not support recreational drug use, so don't be running to your mama or your local pharmacist crying that I do. I simply prefer to see your tax dollars and mine spent on something besides the prosecution of victimless crimes.

Give The Man Back His Weed!

This is almost too funny! Some city cops in Tacoma, Washington, may be found in contempt of court next week for refusing to return some marijuana that they confiscated from a man named Joseph Robertson during a traffic stop! Despite proof of medical marijuana authorization, the dumbass cops took Robertson's marijuana and charged him with a misdemeanor drug charge. Even after the charge was dismissed, the police still did not want to give it back to him. Would they do this with insulin or foot fungus cream? Why should they do it with marijuana purchased by prescription?

The judge told the city attorney to "appeal or comply". He also told them that if they didn't, they should hire an attorney. It must be a very sad day for badass cops in Washington. Not only is marijuana legal there, now; but a judge has actually upheld the law and supported the population he is sworn to serve.

Former Kansas Republican Lawmaker Is Also A Deadbeat Dad

At the left is a picture of what a Republican representative looked like, back in the early eighties. It is also a picture of what a deadbeat dad looks like. Paul R. Hess, who is now in Washington, serving as the chairman of the King County Republicans 46th District, represented Shawnee County in Kansas during the early eighties, when he and Anne Schroer divorced and she was awarded custody of their three sons. He did not think the court was serious when it ordered him to pay child support, and fled the country to evade charges of theft and to defy custody orders. Anne Schroer was forced to fly to Egypt to retrieve her children. There's some good, old fashioned, responsible budget balencing and family values!

Paul Hess owes his ex-wife hundreds of thousands of dollars in back child support and interest. After she moved back to Kansas, she also moved the child support collection back to Kansas, but no state where she lived after the divorce actually did an efficient job of collecting child support. Now, the former Republican representative and his attorney are stating that the court order has somehow become "dormant", or "expired"! A mortgage does not "expire". A student loan or an auto loan will not "expire"! Not even a utility bill simply "goes dormant" or "expires". The truth is, a court order for child support does not "expire" when it is unpaid until the demise of the obligee.

How interesting that Republicans, especially in Kansas, rant on and on about how only inferior people ever rely upon government assitance, and how family values must always be upheld; they one of their own scoffed the very law that was designed to keep divorced mothers and children from needing government assistance in the first place! And committing custodial interferance, to boot! It looks as if Mr. Hess has made some substantial donations to the Republican party recently, while still refusing to pay his child support debt. Perhaps the Republican party should cancel the donation and reroute it to Mrs. Schroer, and while they are at it, perhaps they should reroute Mr. Hess's entire salary to her until his child support is paid.

Westboro Baptist Church Strikes Again!

This time I can laugh at them. Westboro Baptist Church won't be up to it's usual funerary shenanigans. They have been invited by American Athiests to attend the Reason Rally on March 24, in Washington, D.C. This should be interesting; Westboro Baptist Church and reason are not words that usually occur in the same sentence. Before I moved to Kansas, I only thought that people who carry signs, get in one's face and yell "God hates fags....God hates Jews....God hates you, too!" were either Neonazi lunatics or actors in B movies! I have never seen a straight man as obscessed with gay culture as Fred Phelps, the paster of Westboro Baptist Church, and related to most of the members! It's been speculated that his whole hateful stance is the response to some closet urgings......and perhaps in his wildest dreams, the picture on the left is how he wishes he could look!

This past weekend, Westboro Baptist Church surprised Rick Santorum with the news that God hates him. It seems Santorum was more concerned about what the votors thought of him. Church members were kind enough to carry signs conveying God's hatred of other politicians, too, so perhaps it all balenced out in the end.

Family portrait of the Phelps's of Westboro Baptist Church, of Topeka, Kansas. They are never without their signs!

Julia Biryukova; Just When I Thought I Had Heard It All

This has me stunned! Police in Washington took some pictures of two year old Sky Metalwala, who went missing earlier this month, from Julia Biryukova, Sky's mom, only to hear Sky's dad, Solomon Metalwala, exclaim, "This is not Sky, this is Maile!" I think we can now openly challenge the notion that this mom is cooperating with the police in the efforts to find her missing child.

Just this month, we have had national and global headlines dominated not only by Sky Metalwala, but  Lisa Irwin, missing from Kansas city, Missouri; and Tyler Dasher, a St. Louis, Missouri baby who was beaten to death by his mother last week because he wouldn't stop crying. We have also heard from the media about Bishop Robert Finn, also of Missouri, obstructing justice by giving away a computer with kiddie porn in it's hard drive, rather than giving it to police as asked; and, of course, Penn State, with it's shining examples of morality, such as Sandusky and Paterno.

It's insulting enough to be held in contempt by a criminal who wants to appear holy and sweet, like Bishop Robert Finn, but at least it's possible, since he has gotton away with his kiddie porn crimes, to simply discontinue any misguided church attendance and stay away from him. At least the media did not ignore him, even though his mug does not appear on the sex offender registries. He has effectively demonstrated that despite the law, it is not necessary to cooperate with police. But while that type of obstruction of justice is insulting, a mom who not only refuses to cooperate with law enforcement to find her missing child, but delibately misleads all of us by showing us pictures of a different child when asked to show pictures of the child who is missing is completely unimaginable. There have been some slimy people in the news lately, but this really might top the charts. I wonder what else we will hear about Julia Biryukova.

Boy Lives After Almost Drowning

This is amazing. In Long Beach, Washington, twelve year old Dale Ostrander got pulled into the surf and under the water. Rescuers say he was under the water for at least fifteen minutes. He was rushed to the hospital and put into an induced coma, and doctors were not giving his family much hope,
But Dale opened his eyes Monday night – nearly four days after his near-drowning. It looks like he is going to be okay. Here's more:

" The hospital said he was in fair condition Tuesday night.

Mulinix reblogged this from the blog prayersfordale.blogspot.com: At 4:11 pm today (Monday), "The doctors just removed Dale's breathing tube and he is now breathing on his own. Also, because of possible damage to the brain they were unsure if he would be able to speak. Minutes after the tube was removed, the doctors told him to cough. Not only did Dale talk back to the doctors, he responded in a full sentence saying, 'I don't have to.' Dale continues to get better by the minute and the doctors are more and more amazed!"...........CNN

I wish the news could be full of stories like this.
