A New Sign In Roseburg, Oregon

Not too long ago, someone reported that the parents of Terri Moulton Horman; former stepmother of missing Kyron Horman, who was last seen at his school in Portland, Oregon, when he was seven years old, in June of 2010; had erected a "No Trespassing" sign in front of their home. It seems that they feel that three and a half years is long enough to search and hold vigils for a missing child, and that even their familial connection to Kyron does not merit continued concern. So; in response to continued vigils, they posted the sign to indicate that they do not wish to see or hear anyone actively raising awareness of Kyron's missing persons case. Gee; this sounds like the parents of missing Lisa Irwin in Kansas City all over again! They didn't want any vigils held near their house, either.

In a desperate attempt to beautify the neighborhood, someone decided to put a more neighborly sign up on the tree. Below is a picture that was shared. Suppose more and more people who live close to the Moultons put up Kyron's missing persons poster, or signs like the one in the picture?

Your Story Still Doesn't Add Up, Debbie Bradley

Debbie Bradley wants the world to think that the little girl found in Greece with a Roma family is her daughter, Lisa Irwin, who disappeared in October of 2011, at the age of ten months. Lisa would be three years old, almost, and this little girl was estimated, initially, to be around four. A dental examination places her age at closer to five or six years of age. So Debbie's numbers, along with her story, do not add up any better now than they did back in 2011.

How would Gypsies have gotten hold of Baby Lisa, anyway? Would they have targeted a mother who drank a lot and did not watch her children? Do either of those Gypsy parents look like they could fit through the window Debbie says was used for the "kidnapping"? In addition to her inability to add, it looks as if Debbie Bradley doesn't understand simple geometry!

Other numbers involved here which will one day be determined: the number of stories Debbie Bradley told authorities about her daughter's disappearance, and the number of stories the Gypsy couple told Greek authorities about their victim's appearance! Some day, perhaps the number of different stories told by both parties will be compared. Some day, maybe Debbie will learn the three "r's", and, some day, maybe Debbie will pass a polygraph.

On the left is an age progressed picture of how Lisa Irwin might look now.

Baby Lisa Irwin's New Missing Poster

This is a brand new missing poster of little Lisa Irwin, who, at age ten months, disappeared on October 3, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri. Somehow, this effort and the choice of images seems a bit halfhearted, at best. Don't most parents of missing children try to include age progressed pictures, instead of pictures that would no longer resemble the child, should the child be living?

Fits Written For A Facebook Friend

Someone on Facebook, who would very much like to see Lisa Irwin found, began writing a song, just for Debbie Bradley, Lisa's uncooperative mother. It seemed that either Debbie, or her enablers, cried the blues to Facebook about it until it was removed. So I tweaked it a bit for her, and decided to put it on my blog. Hopefully, one day soon, Debbie Bradley will sit down with law enforcement and give them a factual account of everything that happened in her house on October 3, 2011.

I wrote this in fits, after the manner of Lewis Carroll; only I stopped at four fits, rather than eight!

Liar Alert! Baby Lisa's Mom Wants More Money

To anyone following the Lisa Irwin missing persons case, there is a liar alert concerning Debbie Bradley's pleas for more money. The "Find Lisa Irwin" site has a paypal button for donations, but why? There are no searches for Lisa, who would be two years old by this time, in progress. There are no awareness campaigns. There isn't even an age progressed picture of Lisa. The monies collected by the site have not been accounted for properly, and all of the attempts to find Lisa have been funded by taxpayors. Lisa's parents, Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, have worked hard to keep Lisa's case out of the news lately, instead of in the news. They get angry and threaten anyone who writes about Lisa or holds vigils for Lisa. They refuse to assist law enforcement in any way to solve the mystery of what happened to their daughter. So why do they need money? The only people who need to be paid are the two criminal defense attorneys hired by Lisa Irwin's parents and the local liquor stores.

Where's Lisa, Debbie?

I must say; I've had some interesting hits to my tracker in the last couple of months. Also some interesting comments, some published and some not. Here's a message to someone who wants all of the media attention to Lisa Irwin and her missing persons case to stop. The problem is, Lisa has not been found. And Lisa's parents have not cooperated, very noteably, Lisa's mother, Debbie Bradley. To the left, is Lisa's missing persons poster, with the word "kidnapped" shaved off. Perhaps the word "missing" describes the situation better.

Private Message

To my reader in Mexico, who shared an opinion about Debbie Bradley, mother of Lisa Irwin, who disappeared just over a year ago in Kansas City, Missouri....I agree with you wholeheartedly about Debbie Bradley. I just can't publish a definative statement about her legal guilt or lack thereof until she has been to court. Hopefully, that will happen one day soon.

Debbie Bradley, without makeup.

A Whole Year Of Grownup Time For Debbie Bradley

Lisa Irwin was ten months old when she disappeared from her parents' home in Kansas City, Missouri on October 3, 2011. Her mother, Debbie Bradley, claims she was not watching Lisa at one of the times she cited as the last time she saw her baby (there were three or four such cited "last times" Debbie Bradley saw Lisa) because she wanted to sit on her front steps, drink whiskey and wine, and enjoy "grownup time". Then the baby went missing. No phone calls were made to law enforcement until early the following day, despite the presence of two working cell phones in Debbie Bradley's possession. Even if an account connected to a cell phone is revoked for nonpayment, it is still the Federal Communications Law that 911 calls be permitted. So Miss Debbie has no excuse. Also, Debbie accessed the internet from one of the cell phones after one of the "last times" she saw her child, but before the police were called.

After a whole year of "grownup time", Miss Debbie still isn't ready to actually grow up and be responsible for her daughter. A press release issued by Kansas City Police in Missouri stated that Debbie Bradley still will not sit down with them and interview about what happened in her home on October 3, 2011. She also has not been able to pass a polygraph during that year of "grownup time" she has enjoyed. Joe Picerno, the criminal attorney who represents her in Missouri, says he was shocked that police would issue a press release without his, Debbie Bradley's, or Jeremy Irwin's (Jeremy is Lisa's father, but not Debbie's husband) permission. That, alone, is amazing. While Lisa is a minor, she is not anyone's personal possession. The police are looking for her, just as they would for any other missing citizen. It's their job to issue press releases in unsolved missing persons cases. That's how they keep the public informed that the case has not been solved. It is not up to Joe Picerno to allow or disallow the police to protect little Lisa Irwin. Also, Joe Picerno represents Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, NOT Lisa Irwin. Joe Picerno is not being paid to protect Lisa's welfare or interests at all. And, of course, Debbie Bradley and her sugar daddy Jeremy Irwin have not been ruled out as suspects: why should the police ask for their permission before looking for Lisa? Geesh!

Debbie, where's Lisa?

Missing Lisa Irwin, Trolls, And Hypertrolls

"I came to your blog because I have alerts set up to notify me whenever some a hole such as yourself makes a post about her."........This is a comment left on another blog, Solarspectrum Tarot, from someone who not only disagreed with the blogger and accidently ended up in passionate online discourse that got ugly, but read a Tarot reading in which no name but that of Lisa Irwin, the ten month old girl who disappeared in Kansas City, Missouri, was mentioned and INTENTIONALLY, I repeat, INTENTIONALLY, harassed the blog owner and the others engaged in discussion about the Lisa Irwin missing persons case. Here's more: "I have an alert setup so that I can refute idiots like yourself." Since no one had even mentioned the names of Lisa's parents, Debbie Bradley or Jeremy Irwin, this troll apparently went into overdrive just because a blogger followed up a request to open a new discussion about Lisa Irwin, and help keep her case in the open, keep it discussed, and also to help keep people looking for her. This troll is obviously someone who not only does not want Lisa found, but does not want the exasperation of Kansas City Police at Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin's lack of cooperation with efforts to find their daughter remembered or discussed! Forget that no one has actually accused Miss Debbie of a crime; forget that no one knows exactly what to accuse Debbie of doing........this person just wants the attention drawn to little Lisa's missing persons case, along with all efforts to find her, to simply go away. The best way to make the case "go away", or, in the lexicon of someone whose personality is not chemically maintained, get resolved, is to cooperate with law enforcement and discuss all possible whereabouts of Baby Lisa. But here, we have a troll in overdrive, or a "hypertroll".

While it's true that the population at large is probably not in a position to locate Lisa, and indeed, there are no age progressed pictures of her yet, the case was publicized by the media and by Kansas City Police Department in hopes that if anyone saw Lisa or knew anything about the case that law enforcement didn't know, tips could be given. Also, pictures of Lisa as a baby were shared with the general public. Of course, a few segments of the public were already aquainted with the infamous Debbie Bradley, and unhappily so. Debbie Bradley has mental health issues, addiction problems, and does not get along with people very well. Also, Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin were presenting as an engaged-to-be-married couple, but the media, not the couple, blew the lid off the fact that Debbie Bradley is still married to someone else. In this country, one can marry as many times as one wishes, but one must get divorced between "I do's". Also, Debbie has one son, not two. Jeremy has a son, and that little boy's mother is unable to maintain a relationship with him without going to court to force and reinforce court orders. Could this be, at least in part, because of the combative personality had by Debbie Bradley? It seems kinda, sorta possible! Could anyone who knows Debbie imagine her making the act of picking up her son and dropping him off as difficult as possible for Rasleen Raim, the mother of Jeremy's son? Hmmmmm.........I'll bet one of these hypertrolls knows the answer to that!

Lisa Irwin is still missing. Since we have no news of the progress of the investigation, and Lisa's parents have not attempted, at all, to keep the public informed and searching, it is even more important to write and publish information about the case. No matter who made Lisa disappear, hoping that the case will "go away" is allowing a criminal, (yes, someone TOOK Lisa, she did not walk away by herself) to evade apprehension indefinately. Also, Lisa's unwed parents should both push the FBI for an age progressed picture of their daughter. And finally, if no one writes about the case, someone may accidently organize a vigil, or something similar, and make Debbie Bradley very upset. It's true; not only do the hypertrolls discourage internet discourse about little Lisa, Lisa's parents no longer want her remembered in public by way of vigils. They do not want any attention given to the case by anyone.

Terri Horman's Awesome Google Skills

This is for a few of the folks who are following the Kyron Horman case. Every now and then, as one can plainly see, even on this blog, when writing about or discussing this particular case, there are a couple of detractors who will get on whichever site the discussion or article appears and morph into trolls. Most of the comments from these trolls are rather funny, and refuting them is even funnier, and the whole game would actually be amusing if it were not meant as a distraction to the goal of finding a missing child. Perhaps that is the real goal of a troll here: to make it psychologically harder to post a picture of the missing child and the phone number of the law enforcement agency that would like to bring the child home. The other case about which I occasionally post, and which also has a following of trolls, is the Lisa Irwin case. Kansas City, Missouri has a person or two within it's borders who do not want anyone to look for Lisa Irwin. At any rate, Facebook, news websites, and several blogs seem to have trolls, disaffectionatlely called "Terribots", after Terri Horman, who enjoy googling everything from Oregon laws that favor guilty defendants to family stucture and psychology and clogging as many sites as possible with non-facts about Terri Horman's relationship to Kyron and his missing persons case.

Something Terribots have not, to date, quoted, misquoted, or used for spamming purposes is Bill 1041, Oregon; also known as Aaron's Law. This bill was written by Sean Cruz, of Oregon, after his own children were stolen from him, curtesy of his former spouse and the Mormon Church (Mitt Romney, anyone?) and fine tuned and passed by the Senate in 2005. This is the law that gave Desiree Young the vehicle to pursue this matter in civil court, rather than in family law court. This is also a vehicle through which Desiree's counsel can insist upon hearings in a timely manner, rather than idling away time while Terri's counsel benefits from delay after delay, crying up a storm about Terri's fifth amendment rights. Geesh.....kinda makes one wonder if Kaine Horman, Kyron's dad, ever got this much peace and quiet at any time before he was estranged from Terri.......

So how 'bout it, Terribots? All of you thought, for the most part, that the law would not even allow the lawsuit against Terri Horman to progress even as far as it has....this I know from comments that have been posted under multiple articles right here in Siri's World. The times, they are a'changin', (Bob Dylan) along with the laws! Do any of you think Terri has really tried something new, here? Something she can really continue to get away with?

How's that for google skills, Terri?

Debbie Bradley, A Pig With Lipstick

This, folks, is what a pig with lipstick looks like. This is also what Debbie Bradley, of Kansas City, Missouri, looks like with lipstick, hair dye, rouge, and fake tears. (do TV studios use eye drops for that?) The only real thing about her on the recent episode of Dr. Phil was the obesity, which, apparently has increased and become even more real since October 4 of 2011, when she reported her ten month old daughter, Lisa Irwin, who was last seen on October 3, 2011, missing.

Since October, we have found that Debbie Bradley drinks like a fish, has had no problem purchasing alcohol for her underage brother, is married to someone other than Lisa's father, yet plays house with Lisa's father, (those morals do not cut it everywhere, folks....in a lot of places, a woman who does those things is called a WHORE) has given at least four different stories to law enforcement, has blocked the testimony of Lisa's older brothers, and is on antipsychotic medication and probably was a bad candidate for parenting responsibilities. We have also discovered, on the Dr. Phil episode, that she feels that these antipsychotic drugs mix just fine with alcohol, and that drinking the better part of a box of wine with the drugs that were prescribed to help her live among us like a sane person who does not harm or murder children is healthy. Dr. Phil did not call her out on this, either. That was disappointing, because as a psychiatrist, he certainly knows that consuming booze with antipsychotic pills is contraindicated.

Debbie Bradley is a little upset because a very truthful dog let law enforcement know that something smelled like death in places where little Lisa had been. Dogs, by and large, lie to police a lot less often than humans, so Debbie and her illicit bed buddy, Jeremy Irwin, will simply have to cope with the fact that law enforcement in Kansas City is more inclined to listen to the dog. She did mention something interesting, and that is the shed, behind her boyfriend's house. As many of us remember, a role of carpeting was confiscated from the shed. How close could little Lisa have been to the shed on the evening of October 3?

Mrs. Bradley also thinks that if she "did anything wrong" she would be in jail. Hmmm....that's interesting; what about O. J. Simpson and Casey Anthony?

Another interesting thing is a comment made by Debbie Bradley's defense attorney, Joe Tacopina. (Isn't it interesting that Mrs. Bradley had need of a defense attorney while her daughter still has not been found? Isn't it also interesting that Mrs. Bradley never hired a divorce attorney, so she could legitimately marry Lisa's father? Oh! That would stop her military benefits, wouldn't it?) Taco stated that "there is still significant leads" for police. Such bad grammer, for a high profile lawyer! Anyone who is smart enough to pass a bar exam should also know that "leads", when used in English as a noun, is plural, and one would therefore say that "there ARE still significant leads"! Oh well.....maybe Tacobella's expertise lies in media whoring, rather than actual law. Here's another misused plural noun that appeared in this episode of Dr. Phil, from Mrs. Debbie Bradley: she refers to Lisa's older brothers as "her boys". What she really means is "her boy", as one of those boys is not hers, and was ruthlessly kept from his mother by a very hostile and oppositional father, who apparently shares his bed with women who are married to other people. It naturally brings up a question....... is Mrs. Bradley still holding Lisa's oldest brother hostage?

Remembering what's real, nothing has changed. Jeremy Irwin still has not put the best interest of any of the children involved with his life first, and Debbie Bradley still looks like a pig, albeit with lipstick!

Message To Stephanie Almaguer

On October 4, 2011, a little girl named Lisa Irwin was reported missing from Kansas City, Missouri. To date, she has not been found. There have been many searches for her, many vigils on her behalf, and quite a few witnesses and potential witnesses have been interviewed. Something else that has happened has involved someone by the name of Stephanie Almaguer. She reportedly gleaned informantion from a website that allowed another person to comment, and in that comment were some musings concerning possible locations where little Lisa might be found, in the event that she is no longer with us. It was only an idea, and a vague one, at that. No one really gave it another thought until the same map, and street names showed up in a tip given to police by one Stephanie Almaguer, claiming to be "psychic" and know where Lisa could be found! The police, and quite a few others, looked in the spot, and Lisa was not there.

This is not the first time someone like Stephanie has interferred in a police investigation, it probably won't be the last, but when a couple of people noticed the possible plagerism from the different websites, they wrote in to several journalists, who, in turn, did some checking on her track record, both esoterically and ethically, and found her to be a bit troubling. Empty visions, gibberish on her site, inability to construct sentences......that kind of stuff. It was also found that Stephanie had interferred with police in other cases, too. Specifically, Haleigh Cumming's, and Kyron Horman's cases.

A friend of mine, who has done quite a bit to circulate pictures and information about Lisa Irwin, (REAL information, not gibberish, a la Stephanie Madam Cleo) finally got enough of the divisive atmosphere Stephanie was creating among searchers and volunteers, and asked her to stop. After much name calling, (Stephanie tossed out some very nasty comments toward this friend and several reporters) it looked as if Stephanie was going to go away and shut up. But she didn't. In fact, someone claiming to be Stephanie's husband left a rather threatening and rude comment on my friend's blog. My friend opted not to publish that comment. She also ranted on Gather, see comments; the The Examiner, once again, see comments, and You Tube, at various people. It's not enough to use the media for attention whoring purposes, the rest of us MUST agree with her! Or else!

On her blog, Stephanie actually took my name, spelled incorrectly, but still obviously indicating yours truly, and accused me of being at least half a dozen other people and stalking her. Let me just assure Stephanie that those profiles are not mine. And I have never changed my email address. I have had the same one for years. I also doubt if anyone is actually stalking Stephanie. The definition of stalking is a little more complex than reading comments on a public media site or reading entries in a public blog. If she does not want anyone to know what she is up to, she should write her silly nonsense in a notebook, with pen and paper, not on the internet. Quite a few of Stephanie's comments on the websites of others indicate a lot of trolling and possible stalking on Stephanie's part.

This was a comment she directed at me:
"Should have known, immediately after deciding to post, someone would begin their harassment......ShadowDancer? says she posted a map similar to this one on my blog?? back in November. IDK? Searched for it and couldnt find it, so she said I deleted it and the threats have begun. I've been being stalked by a women who changes her email, every time I block hers....She follow(ed) me on Youtube, the blog, twitter, etc...she's been jojo777, jumpindragon, bluemoon, pam bluemoon, juli henery (i think) & poss. yellowrose, and just too many to list."

And this is what I directed at her: Hey Stephanie! I only have one email address. I am NOT any of those other people you have indicated. Also, Henry is spelled H-E-N-R-Y, not H-E-N-E-R-Y. You are a charlatan, an online bully, and a skank. You also don't know how to write, spell, or use punctuation. If you do not want people to react as badly to you as they apparently react, why don't you behave differently, both online and in person? And drop the Madam Cleo act. You can't pull it off.

Madam Cleo Wannabe

Why Is No One Looking for Bianca Jones?

On January 18, a new show, hosted by S. Epatha Merkerson, former Law and Order star, premiered. This show deals with the subject of alerting the American public when the subject of a missing persons report is Black. It is good to see TV One hosting "Find Our Missing". The reality of missing persons involves victims from all races and walks of life, yet, somehow; it seems that the cases the networks push the hardest involve white victims who look like Norman Rockwell models. Another disturbing fact is that while the Black community represents about fourteen percent, per capita, of people in this country, the statistic for unsolved missing persons cases involving Black victims is about forty percent. Sad, but unfortunately, true.

Has anyone noticed, amid all of the coverage of the Lisa Irwin case, that a two year old named Bianca Jones also disappeared? Lisa Irwin went missing from Kansas City, Missouri, in October of last year. Her parents have hindered police investigations ever since, and have even tampered with witnesses. Bianca Jones was reported missing from Detroit, Michigan, in early December of last year. Many people have searched for her, and while there may be some serious problems with testimony from Bianca's father, the rest of her family has cooperated with law enforcement. Still, there is much, much more information about Lisa Irwin. There are many more pictures of Lisa to be found online, even though most of them were taken months before she disappeared, and are probably useless in terms of locating her. The main difference that I can see between Lisa's pictures and Bianca's pictures; however, is that Lisa's depict a White child and Bianca's depict a Black child. Bianca's missing persons case needs the same amount of coverage as Lisa's has garnered.

S. Epatha Merkerson. Her new show, "Find Our Missing", airs on Wednesdays, at 10 PM, 9 PM Central, on TV One. Perhaps her show will provide the inspiration to renew the earnest search for little Bianca Jones.  Below is Bianca Jones's picture, one more time. Hopefully, she will be found before Epatha has a chance to film an episode about her case. It's way past time.

We Haven't Forgotton, Terri Horman

Polygraphs. They are pretty accurate. Not one hundred percent, not admissable as evidence in court, but they are still reliable tools to help determine when a person is lying. Often more reliable than the word of a suspect or a witness. In fact, the biggest problem had with polygraphs, by law enforcement, seems to be guilty people who pass them, not innocent people who do not pass them. In view of this, there are several people who I think should take some failed polygraphs over, this time telling the truth about their circumstances. We could start with D'Andre Lane, father of Michigan toddler, Bianca Jones, who has been missing since the first weekend of December. His attorney feels that "stress", and "lack of preperation" has flawed the results of the polygraph Lane took, causing it to show deception. I actually agree with Mr. Defense Attorney on this: the stress of trying to hide evidence of a terrible crime and the lack of preperation connected to not having enough time to concoct a good story and collaborate with all possible witnesses and the victim can certainly affect the results of a polygraph. Yes indeed.

But Mr. Lane just might have been outdone by Debbie Bradley, of Kansas City, Missouri, also mother of Lisa Irwin, who was reported missing on October 4, when she was ten months old. Debbie Bradley openly admitted that she failed a polygraph. Not only was she shown to have answered key questions on the polygraph deceptively, but she actually interfered with the testimony of Lisa's older brothers! Not exactly what I would expect from a mother who wants to find her missing child, but definately what what I would expect from someone who has committed a crime and keeps witnesses quiet by bullying them. I sincerely hope that Lisa's brothers do not have to grow up hiding a horrible crime and covering for parents or step parents with criminal tendencies. That kind of situation is never healthy for children.

Moving a little further West, we have Julia Biryukova, mother of two year old Sky Metalwala, who went missing before Thanksgiving, in Bellevue, Washington. After giving law enforcement in Washington a truly crazy story about running out of gas when her car still had gas, and leaving her baby behind when she walked to a gas station without a gas can to get gas for the car that had not run out of gas, she refused to take a polygraph. And after promising to arrange one, her attorney has not arranged for her to take a polygraph. Nice......not! She's looking for a new boyfriend online these days, not for her missing son.

And lets not forget Terri Horman. Her stepson, Kyron Horman, has been missing since June 4, 2010. He disappeared from his school. She failed two polygraphs when questioned about her knowledge of what happened to Kyron on that day. Specifically, the questions that tripped her up concerned what happened to Kyron, and her own whereabouts during that day. Her attorney is certainly well connected enough to schedule another polygraph examination, in the event of his client's innocence, to clear this up. Yet.....it hasn't happened. Now she hides at the home of her parents, full time, looking for...........another TEACHING job! As if the world owed her such a thing!

Terri, where's Kyron?

Lisa Irwin, Doppelgangers, And Identification For Children

The latest in the news in the case of Lisa Iriwn, the one year old who was reported missing on October 4 from Kansas City, Missouri, is, sadly, not that she has been found; but that another child keeps getting mistaken for her. And according to the little girl's parents, the mistake makers have been aggressive and creepy about it, too, putting their hands on the baby in public and harassing the parents. I will not put a picture of this child on my blog for two reasons, first, she is not Lisa Irwin, who is still missing; second, she does not need that kind of publicity. Please take my word for it when I say that the pictures I have seen of this child do not bear enough of a resemblence to Lisa to justify the harassment through which her parents have gone. Slimmer face, more teeth. At least five times, and hopefully not counting, this child's parents have had to prove their relationship with their daughter to law enforcement. If I were them, I would dress my daughter in boy's clothing for the next month or two!

I have a doppelganger of a missing child in my brood, too. Last summer, while traveling to the East Coast with all six of my children, someone in a Walmart in Indiana looked briefly at the pictures of missing children on the wall, and then at one of my sons. "He looks just like this picture of Kyron Horman!", the woman said. That was the first I had ever heard of Kyron Horman, it was about five weeks after he went missing from Skyline Elementary in Portland, Oregon. Several hundred miles later, in West Virginia, someone actually phoned in a "Kyron sighting"! That was interesting. I had never had one of my children mistaken for someone who is missing before, but since my son was old enough to talk, it was not a problem. No one reached out and grabbed him, either. If anyone had, I am not sure what I would have done. As it sits, I am still encouraged that there are people who cared enough about finding Kyron Horman to look for him in the first place. Even so, I packed a copy of my son's birth certificate in my suitcase before my next cross country trip, during the winter break last year.

About these missing child "sightings", allow me to advise this: if you really think you are looking at a missing child who is being sought by local law enforcement and the FBI, it is best to just call them. Unless the kidnapping is a familial kidnapping or custodial interference, none of us can truly understand what goes on in the minds of persons who would steal or harm children. Aggitating such a person is unwise for many reasons. In a store, letting security know, so that they can hone in on the image of the child with surveillance camaras and call the local police is a much better idea. Also, there is certainly nothing wrong with copying down a liscence plate number for the police. But it is best not to seek out a confrontation with someone you suspect has committed a very serious crime.

One day, perhaps the entire country will make picture ID's for children available. Then, I will not need to take my son's birth certificate with me when I travel. A picture ID is probably the only immediate relief the family of Lisa Irwin's doppelganger is likely to obtain. Picture ID's for children in Lisa Irwin's age group would need to be updated frequently, as children grow and change quickly. When I did a search on the subject earlier today, I was disappointed, as only a handful of states even offer them. Until we wake up to the need for identification for children, it looks like we are stuck with passports.

Lisa Irwin, who is still missing and has been missing since October 3, 2011. Where could this baby be?

Kyron Horman, who has been missing for over eighteen months. Every day, I am disappointed when I do not see any news of his return home. It is well past time for this.

I Wonder If Jeremy Irwin Is Getting Nervous Part Two

A couple of days ago, I posted about the Missouri case of Jeremy Irwin, father of one year old Lisa Irwin, who was reported missing early on October 4. He and Rasleen Raim, the mother of his oldest child, are in a custody battle now, because Rasleen Raim is nervous about the alleged kidnapping, and the ramifications to the safety of her child. I don't blame her at all, but the attorneys for Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin still think a mom should feel secure about her child being in Debbie Bradley's care. Shortly after Ms. Raim filed suit, a Washington judge gave Solomon Metalwala, the father of two year old, missing, Sky Metalwala, custody of Sky's older sister Maile. Now, a Florida judge has reversed a custody decision in the case of Michelle Parker, missing since last month, and Dale Smith's three year old twins. This apparently happened yesterday, after lots of public outcry about Dale Smith, Michelle's fiance and the primary suspect in her diappearance, initially got custody. It is not clear if this happened because of a bad act on the part of the father, more findings about his care of the children, or if evidence concerning the disappearance of the childrens' mom was discovered in his home, but it seems that suspects and defacto suspects in mysterious disappearances of other people are not always seen to make good primary custodians of children. Need I even mention Terri Horman? She does not have custody of any of her children right now, either.

What's likely to happen if custody to Jeremy Irwin's oldest child transfers to the mom? Well....let's see; Debbie Bradley will no longer be able to collect food stamps, using this child as one more member of the household. She no longer has little Lisa, and losing another child would leave her ineligable, which, in turn, means that she would have to get a job. What else would happen...one less deduction at tax time for Mr. Jeremy! ( I hope those unpaid taxes from a couple of years ago are paid, now, Jeremy!) Also, since Jeremy probably makes more money than his son's mother, he will probably have to pay child support. That would certainly be a bummer for Debbie and Jeremy.

What else might happen? A little boy might become reaquainted with his mom. A mom who may very well have been threatened or initmidated by a drunk and criminally inclined Debbie Bradley. He also may finally have a chance to learn about his mother's culture, and who he is. I doubt that Jeremy has gone to any great lengths to explain life outside of his own narrow sphere to any of his children. Also, it is an opportunity for this child to learn another language or two.

Something else might happen, too. It's a something that probably bothers the heck out of John Picerno and Joe Tacobella. It goes straight to the core of why I think Debbie and Jeremy MIGHT (!!) be hiding a few things from law enforcement. Not only have they given several different accounts of what happened on October 4 and admitted that Debbie drinks too much; Debbie and Jeremy have worked incredibly hard to block testimony from both of Lisa's older half brothers. But if they did not live with Debbie or Jeremy, who would stop them from giving statements to the police or testifying? Tacobella has no control over family court in Missouri, and Picerno is a criminal attorney, not a family law specialist.

Taco and Pico can spread as many lies as they wish about the situation. Just as surely as eleven minus eight equals three, both of those little boys will grow up one day. And there is no statute of limitations on murder.

I Wonder If Jeremy Irwin Is Nervous Yet

Solomon Metalwala, the father of two year old Sky Metalwala, missing from Washington since early last month, just won a round in court with his estranged wife, Julia Biryukova, about custody of their daughter, Maile. This is largely because Sky disappeared, allegedly from her car, on her watch. Even if Sky is found alive today, I do not think Julia will ever have primary custody of Sky or his sister again. Not even if she wakes up one morning with a different personality and decides to cooperate with law enforcement and help find Sky.

This reminds me a little of the drama in Kansas City, Missouri, surrounding the disappearance of one year old Lisa Irwin. She was reported missing on October 4, allegedly stolen from her crib. The dog didn't bark, the two other children didn't notice, and Lisa apparently did not become upset and start to cry, (yeah....right!) leaving the admittedly drunken mom undisturbed at the time of the alleged kidnapping. The thing about those two other children is that they both are Lisa's half brothers, meaning that they each have another parent somewhere outside of the situation. And now, the natural mother of Jeremy's son wants custody. I would want custody, too, if I were her; I hope she gets it. Here's the thing.......Debbie Bradley (the drunken mom who lost Lisa in the the first place) and Jeremy Irwin apparently have begun to craft a campaign to subvert all of the negative publicity, both in the media and word of mouth, that their case has garnered, due to their attitudes and lack of cooperation with law enforcement. Their legal representation has even reached for the throat of Rasleen Raim, the mother of Jeremy's son, as she seeks to remove her child from Debbie Bradley's custody. It seems to me that allowing this child to live with his mom would give Jeremy more free time to concentrate on looking for Lisa; he should really welcome her offer. His situation has changed, and it will never be the same again, not even if Lisa is found today.

This also sheds some light on something else Debbie and Jeremy have recently expressed, specifically that they want the vigils that take place near their house for Lisa to stop. Custody issues may be the true reason that Debbie and Jeremy want the vigils for Lisa to stop. Vigils, along with media and public attention in a missing child case keep everyone aware that the child is missing, but it also adds a bit of chaos to the atmosphere. I really think that Debbie and Jeremy know that as long as their daughter is missing, all of the chaos coming from all aspects of the case could be seen as unhealthy by a family law court judge and help Rasleen win her case to modify custody of her son. Also, if Lisa is found to have been the victim of foul play, the nature of the vigils could easily change, and rightfully so. Anyone remember Casey Anthony, and public reaction at her parents' home? I do not think Debbie and Jeremy's neighbors will like a situation like that any more than the Anthonys' neighbors did. Also......it is much harder to carry on any criminal activity while getting lots of attention from an always present, very interested, local public; and that probably comprises at least a small part of Debbie's problem with vigils.

I wonder if Debbie and Jeremy are paying attention to Sky Metalwala's case? The custody ruling in the Metalwala case does not set any legal precedents, but it does contain the key elements of estranged spouses and missing children. This is a sad day for families, when kidnapped siblings must be a consideration in family law court.

Debbie Bradley May Get More Grownup Time

It looks like one of Lisa Irwin's older brothers may have a chance to live with his real mom, Rasleen Raim. This looks like a win-win situation for everyone involved, except, possibly for Lisa. Of course, the only way for Lisa to win here would involve her parents cooperating with law enforcement; and since they have shown nothing but contempt for every attempt to locate Lisa, I don't think Debbie and Jeremy's cooperation will be forthcoming. Here's the thing.....I don't know why John Picerno, Debbie and Jeremy's Missouri criminal defense attorney, is adverse to Lisa's older brother moving out of the Bradley drunkathon. The child would be able to live with away from the media circus surrounding his family's life, and would have an opportunity to become reaquainted with his mom, (if I were a gambler, I would BET there is more to THAT story than we have heard......and I would BET that it involved intimidation on Jeremy's part....but that's just my opinion at the moment) and Debbie would have more "grownup time". Of course, this may be a misnomer, because in my world, "grownup time" usually follows the event of growing up, rather than preceding it, but Debbie and Jeremy do lots of things differently than many of the rest of us would.

John Picerno makes statements to the effect that Rasleen Raim has not seen her child since 2008, then says that it has been six years since 2008, (by my count, it has been three years and some months since 2008) and he completely ignores that many, many absentee FATHERS regain custody or visitation every day after not seeing their children for even longer intervals. It's nothing new, and certainly nothing over which to demonize Rasleen Raim. I honestly believe Raim will at least get visitation. I hope she does not allow Picerno or Tacobella to intimidate her.

One of the ways this could actually help Lisa's whereabouts become known will be if Debbie Bradley is excluded from any court proceedings involving Jeremy Irwin, Rasleen Raim, and their child. Debbie Bradley, after all, is not Irwin's wife, she is merely someone with whom he cohabits, and this should not grant her any custodial rights. If Jeremy must enter a court room all by himself, and speak about his home life, and what he and his girlfriend have to offer a child, after losing a child and admittedly being too drunk to remember what happened at the time, more details might emerge. Details that might never emerge in Debbie Bradley's presence.

Of course, Jeremy will probably have to pay child support. He will have one less deduction at tax time. And, one less child in the Irwin household will probably reduce Debbie's foodstamps and other benefits enough to drive her into the workforce. If Rasleen Raim wins this case, it's win-win.

Baby Lisa Drama

Hiring a LOCAL attorney, who knows the populace, the courtroom players, and the geographical area, is one of the few smart things that Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin did when their ten month old daughter, Lisa Irwin, went missing from Kansas City, Missouri, earlier this month. Other than that, they have given conflicting, incomplete, and possibly false testimony, obscured the presence and testimony of potential witnesses, and gone on the air with non-information about their daughter and about whatever happened preceding their daughter's disappearance on October 4. While I did not agree with most of what Cyndy Short stated in her short (no pun intended) time representing Lisa's family, I thought that, if still alive, Lisa might have a better chance of returning home and leading a normal life with Ms. Short representing her parents; but now Ms. Short has withdrawn from the case. Joe Tacopina, the council from New York, is now Lisa's parents' sole representation.

There are not that many reasons that a lawyer can just drop a client. Of course, Debbie and Jeremy have not been charged with a crime and are not sitting in jail, so withdrawing from the case, or potential case, as the case may be, has not left them without local council while putting on a defense. I can't imagine money was a problem, because Lisa's family seems to be playing up the drama to the hilt, even though their child is missing.  Has anyone noticed the recent article in People Magazine?   I know that about fifty percent of those who live near Kansas City will think that this may be unfair, and I may be wrong, but it seems to me that it is too early in the game for magazine articles about Lisa. She hasn't even been gone for a month.......I am surprised that Debbie can even do an interview that would be useful for entertainment purposes.

Conflicts of interest are other things that can force a lawyer to withdraw. Each of Lisa's brothers has an absentee parent who either lives in Cyndy Short's stomping grounds, or has lived there in the past. A lot of the recent conflict in this case has involved potential testimony from those two boys. Is it possible that Ms. Short represented one of the other parents at some point, and therefore; one of the boys, simply by default? Or, conversely, provided council to someone who litigated against a guardian of either of Lisa's brothers? I guess it's possible. What the media seems to be regurgitating is that Joe Tacopina thought it would be fine for police to interview the boys, but Cyndy Short, geographically closer to all the action and much more familiar with Missouri law, didn't agree. That seems completely weird. I hope it's nothing but stress and personal reactions thereof, but how can interviews with a six year old and an eight year old be such a pivotal discussion point if they did not, as Lisa's parents claim, witness anything?

Lisa Irwin, probably sometime during the spring of this past year. I really wish I had a sketch of the person who was seen in the wee hours of the day Lisa disappeared, carrying a baby around outside, to put here, too. That, along with Cyndy Short's position on the findings of the cadaver dog, was where I personally differed with how she handled this case. It seemed to me that a composite sketch of a possible suspect could help solve this case and bring that baby home more quickly than any You Tube video or People Magazine article, and it also seemed to me that any bystanders in the Kansas City area who might have the ability to help locate this potential "person of interest" could do so more easily if everyone had a description of this person. That would also pull accusations and suspicions away from her clients......unless she knows who this person is and it behooves her clients in some way to keep him or her unidentified. That's just my take on it, though.

Debbie Bradley's Lawyer Doesn't Trust Dogs

Now that a cadaver dog has hit upon a death scent during a thorough search of the Irwin home, Debbie Bradley's lawyer, Cyndy Short, wants all of us to know that she does not trust cadaver dogs. Well guess what, Cyndy Short, a lot of us do not trust defendants and suspects in missing persons cases!

Cyndy Short walked through the Irwin's house the other day, despite the fact that any evidence found there would have to be shared with her, anyway. Have Debbie and Jeremy even been charged with a crime yet? Why all these defense attorneys? Anyway, Ms. Short told the local news that since the house is old, very old, a whole sixty-three years old, and a cadaver dog can smell a twenty-eight year old death, Lisa cannot possibly have died inside her parents' house, and the dog is wrong. To this, I raise the BS flag, because if someone had died inside that house, the population in Missouri has been keeping adequate records for investigators to detemine this. Had someone gotton sick and died where the dog scented death, we would have records of emergency services, such as the use of an ambulance. If a murder had taken place, police records would show it.

Ms. Short also runs her yap incessantly about several eyewitness accounts of a man carrying a baby through various points near Kansas City on the morning that Baby Lisa disappeared. And you know what? I think she may really be onto something there, because the first sighting featured a small built, dark haired, white man on foot with a baby wearing only a diaper, just walking through an intersection shortly after midnight. The next sighting of the very same thing places the man and the baby several miles away, about three and a half or four hours later. This fits a very possible scenario.........specifically that the baby was already deceased, so clothing, even in the predawn chill, did not matter, and someone was carrying her away from the scene of the death in order to prevent an investigation bearing appropriate findings. Yeah; that sounds plausible. Yet Ms. Short will go on camara and run her mouth about it, never once asking the police to provide a sketch artist and have drawings done of the possible suspect. Never once. That would seem like a way to possibly identify the suspect, find Lisa, and close the case, unless, of course, she is representing the person who would be described and sketched. If that is the case, I do not imagine she will welcome a sketch artist.

Here is what Cyndy Short has to say:

I would also like to reiterate what a poster on a local news site pointed out; if Lisa Irwin is still alive, she is probably disguised in boys' clothing, and someone is probably calling her "Lee" instead of "Lisa". Also, if anyone close enough to Kansas City has any skills as an artist drawing faces, maybe you could donate your services, talk to the witnesses, draw this man who was seen walking around with a baby in the middle of the night, and help the rest of us see what he looks like. I think we can rest assured that Cyndy Short is not going to do it.
