In Case You Missed Church This Sunday

In case you missed church this Sunday....I think I will pick on Mormons again, today. Allow me to delve into my own personal experience with Mormons, which, thank the Gods, is not terribly extensive. It is only recently that I discovered that Mormons have a "Jesus" icon, which, while different from the Jesus revered by actual Christians, is enough to create some confusion among outsiders as to whether or not Mormons are Christians.

There is a middle-aged Mormon woman who lives two houses away from me. She holds a paraprofessional position at the local public school as well. When I first moved here, she was never terribly friendly or nice to me, despite the fact that our children are about the same ages, and many of them are in the same classes. In fact, she was always rather snippy and rude, preferring to gossip about me behind my back instead of returning my friendly Southern "hellos". Having had worse neighbors during the course of my lifetime, I did not pay her attitude much mind, and when her huge Golden Retriever mutt puppy dog tipped over my trash, the kids and I just picked it up. I thought that her dog's jaunt through the neighborhood despite leash laws was an isolated incident. Then, day after day, week after week, the same dog visited our garbage cans, constantly strewing garbage everywhere. Tired of it, I decided that paying Mrs. Mormon Lady a visit and asking her politely to keep her dog indoors or tether the dog would be kinder and more polite than calling Animal Control, or the Kansas equivilent of same. So I knocked on her door, and when she answered, I told her about the dog tipping over the trash. She immediately began yelling and screaming that she did not have a dog. Then I pointed out that I had seen a Golden Retriever mutt in her yard. She then screeched that the dog was never off of her leash. Then, the dog ran down the sidewalk from the north end of town, turned the corner, ran up the front steps, and sat down on her porch. The dog offered me her paw. "Is this the dog that is always on a leash?", I asked. At that point, Mrs. Mormon Lady slammed the door in my face. She has done quite a bit of backstabbing since that day. She even gathered my children, while at school, to tell them that I cursed at her during the exchange on her front porch about the dog, which is NOT true. I did not even raise my voice, let alone use foul language. So, my firsthand information about Mormons is that they are irresponsible about pet ownership, and manipulative and dishonest. It's one of the reasons I will never vote for a Mormon.

When I stop having ugly experiences with people who claim some sort of "holiness", or "betterness" than the others with whom they share this earth, and stop hearing lies from them, that's when I will start taking these individuals seriously as respectable citizens. Not until then. And that includes Bishop Mitt Romney.

There is a reason that nobody comments on any of your posts. You are delusional, ignorant, and above all, hateful. If you had an ounce of a clue or class you would never say the things about the people in your community that you do. You are a liar, a story teller, and it is no wonder that the people in the community have shunned you when you make such atrocious accusations and fabrications. Enjoy your life holed up in your house alone.

Actually, quite a few people leave comments on my blog. If I were delusional, ignorant, or hateful, I would not have been able to help my stepchildren catch up in school. That's something none of you freaks in this insular, undersocialized community were able to do. I am not a liar, and if I have something to say, I own the comment and put my name behind it. You still want to remain anonymous while you bully good people. Why don't you say the vile things to my face that you have always said behind my back? The only reason people in this community who are worth their salt do not warm up to new people is because they are afraid of being bullied by the likes of you and your kids. You are a bully. If you weren't, you'd add a name to your comments, and not wait for me to identify you.

What's interesting is that others in surrouding communities do not feel the same way about this community and it's insular, undersocialized bullies as you do. And you, personally, have a reputation for lying. Has anyone close to you driven on a suspended liscence lately? If you allowed it, you were effectively telling all of us that we were safe when we weren't. You're a liar.

And you, obviously, think you know who you are talking to, yet you don't. You make a lot of assumptions about many people in this community who are, in fact, good people that are true assets to not only our community as a whole, but especially our school community. The thing is, these people will continue doing what they do, and so will you. GOD bless them, and you too.

I know which IP# these comments come from, and, consequently, the physical address. Ordinarily, the physical address would not have been so readily available, but someone using your IP# pressured me personally, and members of my family ,to vote republican or "leave this country", and that type of harassment is against the law. So I know whose address it is, regardless of who happens to be using the computer. And the Gods have already blessed everyone in this vicinity many times. Why don't you show some gratitude for a change?

Funny, because I am a registered independent and have not even met all the members of your family. I don't care who you vote for, I just don't like all the negative things you say about this community and the people in it. You have recently made comments about a very nice local couple and their church, and now against a large extended family in this town that happen to be Mormon. I have lots of gratitude for lots of great people that live here.

Please.......the troll to whom that last comment was directed is posting from 68.234.116....I'll skip publishing the rest of it, and you are posting from 68.234.120.XXX. Yes; someone from the former IP# bullied me over a post concerning the upcoming election and also bullied one of my kids! Not very teacher-like, Jesus-like, or nice. That large extended family forced me to go out and pick up trash almost every day for the forst six months I lived here, because they did not want to honor the leash laws. I had just been very ill, requiring quite a few transfusions, and the cross country move, all by itself, had been hard for me. Why did these Mormons think I needed to go outside in the snow and clean up after their dog every day? Also, the Mrs. in that family has not been very nice to me. She raises her voice and yells. Do you expect my impression of her to be the same as it would be if she had been nice to me? It ain't gonna.

Mitt Romney does not appear to think he needs to obey the laws either. My experience with the Mrs. and the dog, and everything that keeps coming up about Mitt Romney and Mormons in general, especially the racism, has led me to believe that only bad people would want to be Mormon. What else can I tell you?

The codified racism. That's what I should have said.
