Who Really Protects Children?

This past Tuesday, an Ohio headstart teacher got fired for dragging a small child through a hallway by the arm. The picture below was snapped by another teacher. Neither the teacher or student have been identified in the news.

This teacher did not work for any of the school boards in Ohio, but a private company called Alta Care Group, that "partners" with Ohio schools and provides teachers. Since Alta Care Group does not answer to the government or directly to the parents, it is possible for Alta Care Group to maintain different hiring standards, or no standards at all, for the important task of hiring teachers. Why would public schools in Ohio want to do this? Are they saving money, somehow, by using a middleman to provide their teachers?

It is abundantly clear that Alta Care Group is not concerned with the safety of children. Despite the fact that this teacher was terminated, the taxpayers are left with too many unanswered questions, such as the teacher's name. The people of Ohio are entitled to this information, and entitled to know why this aspect of teaching has been handled by a private company. Also, any time a private company supplies a teacher for children, the parents have a right to know the qualifications and the procedures used when a teacher fails to perform. When these questions are not answered adequately by the government, and freedom of information act request usually solves the problem, but what if the problem is encountered with a private company that does not follow the law?

The Satanic Temple has a short term solution. If you sign up for emails and newsletters from The Satanic Temple, you can register your information with the Temple's Protect Children Project, and your local school board will receive an email, informing the school that you do not wish to be abused, and reminding school administration of your first amendment rights.

Tamir Rice Was Shot Because He Was Black

"I was right there and he went for the gun. I had no choice," is the lie told by Tim Loehmann after shooting twelve year old Tamir Rice in November, 2014.

Why do police officers in America lie? Since most investigations of police officers are done by individuals and organizations that are pro police and racist, why was  Tim Loehmann even motivated to make false statements? For instance, reporting that Rice had the gun in his hands, when the video clearly shows he did not. Also, Loehmann stated that Rice was sitting at the table at the recreation center in a group of people, while the video very clearly shows that Rice was alone. Let us also not forget that Loehmann wrote that he told Rice three times to put his hands in the air, when the video shows that he did not say a word to Rice, but shot him instantly.

This is why policemen are often referred to as pigs. I hope Tamir Rice's community can find a way to get justice.

Another False Arrest Lawsuit In The Making

Here's some cell phone footage taken by someone who was harassed by law enforcement in Sandusky, Ohio. The man was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for no reason. Since he was not the driver, he was not required to show identification, and the police had no business asking him for any. Yet they, and when he refused to play their games, the drug dog was summoned. The police also threatened to give his two week old baby to child protective services. What is not shown in this video is the actual arrest for obstruction of justice followed by the man getting tasered. All because he sat quietly in the car while the driver got pulled over.

On Tuesday, Officer Denny, the racist, pos cop, was put on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation that would never have been initiated without the victim's cell phone video. Folks, the minute you get pulled over, the cell phone needs to be put in video mode. You may think you are white enough, law abiding enough, sober enough, ect., to survive a police officer who is paid to supply privatized prisons with laborers and privatized foster care systems with newborn babies to sell to the highest bidders, but money has to be made some way. This officer thought he had a legal way to traffic defenseless humans.

If You Weren't In Church On Sunday

If you didn't go to church this past weekend, you may have missed a baptism in Akron, Ohio. At a Church's Chicken, two crazy robbers decided to break in while the manager was armed with a garden hose. One of the thugs even had a gun; but since the manager was cleaning, he decided to do a thorough job and rinse the theives out of Church's! They came back a second time, and got a second baptism! The only money they got was about thirty dollars. Maybe next time they will get baptized with mace or a tazer.

Very Smart School Board Decision

A Jackson County, Ohio middle school used to have a stupid looking, White-Jesus picture hanging from a railing on a staircase, until the American Civil Liberties Union and the Freedom From Religion Foundation sued the school on behalf of the more intelligent parents and students to take the offensive thing down. The superintendent of Jackson County Schools pointed out that the school insurance company refused to insure the school against lawsuits inspired by the subtle expression of a preference for one religion over another, so he removed it. That was very smart. It's too bad Northeast Kansas schools will not learn a lesson about lawsuits, insurance to cover damages won by parties with reasons to sue the occasional erring school, and the dumb shit fundamentalist Christian teachers and administrators often do to encourage lawsuits.

If that picture were to stay, there should be other pictures alongside it. Perhaps one like this:

Maybe Charles Ramsey Will Start A Trend

Charles Ramsey, the man who finally called 911 and helped Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus, and Michelle Knight, who had been missing for ten years, get out of a house where they had been held captive, wants to donate the reward money to the women he rescued. He states that he has only lived in the neighborhood in Cleveland for about a year, and he already gets a paycheck, so why not let the three women use the money to get back on their feet? How thoughtful!

To Diana Younger Of Northeast Kansas

When you treated me like garbage the other night, and when you allowed the mother of immoral cretins to harass me, despite the sheriff's assurance that I am not required any interaction with her, you sided with someone who hosted a sexual assualt on one of my children. I did not hear about the incident until it was too late to get the police involved, but in view of the recent guilty verdicts for rape in Steubenville, Ohio, I think I should be more open with everyone about what and who you support. The female inhabitant of the house pictured below might be a better political choice of allies here in this fornicating Christian town, because she probably has the genetic feature of hinges on her thighs, after the manner of other women from this town, but you once raked me over the coals about how you have the right to preach your Christian religion to my children at school. If that's really the case, and you are really a Christian, you should not have been so kind and favorable to a woman who never supervises the children at her home and allows young girls to experience sexual assualt on her watch. For that reason, and because you lied to me about what the police told you on the phone about this woman, I am calling you a liar. Don't ever preach to me about your dumbass church again.

You know something, Diana? I am probably the only woman in this town who is not a Christian, and I am also probably the only mother of teenagers in this town whose children are not sexually active.

What's The Difference Between Buckeye And Marijuana?

Where'e the eye-rolley when I need it? The police in Tennessee, on I-40, about five miles outside of Memphis, pulled over an elderly couple because of an Ohio State sticker on their car bearing the Buckeye logo and because a helmet inside the car was visible with similar stickers on it. They thought that the logo was indictative of drug cartel connections, and that the elderly couple, en route home to Texas from a funeral, might be transporting large amounts of marijuana in their car, while announcing it for all the world to see. The occasion merited black SUV's, body armor, and drawn guns. Your tax dollars at work, folks. Luckily, none of the guns were fired, and the officers were able to calm down long enough to see their mistake and stop their violations of the couple's first amendment rights, which allow visible depictions of, not only buckeye, but marijuana.

What The Hell Is Wrong With This Parent?

One more "what the hell is wrong with this parent" story here: Jamial Bayly, of Ohio, was arrested for whirling his three year old around in the dryer! It seems electrical appliances also serve as a means of negative reinforcement in his home. Geesh.

Not only are most, if not all, clothes dryers not guarenteed against any damage incurred during use for drying toddlers, putting anyone in a dryer is reckless endangerment. Here's a picture of him. Note the unmanaged static electricity in his hair. Could he possibly have used a clothing dryer to get that look? It almost looks as if there should be a sock sticking to it...........

Is Anyone Else Offended By This?

I saw this story on Yahoo today. Along with the picture. I thought it was a picture from the 1950's, and wondered why the color of the photo looks so modern. Then I read the rest of the story; specifically; that the picture is actually from May of 2011, in Cincinnati, Ohio! It seems that Jamie Hein, the owner of an apartment complex in Cincinnati, discovered that one Black teenager was visiting family in one of the apartments over the summer, so she found an old sign, dating from 1931, and put it up at the pool! Her explanation for this was that she didn't want hair products to "make the water cloudy". Because of all of the hair products, soaps, and sunblock used by almost everyone, I must raise the BS flag here. She is also being sued by the girl's family. Not only is discrimination against federal law, but in Ohio, this violates the Ohio Civil Rights Act.

Quoting the above article, "Hein's attorney, who informed the commission by email Wednesday that Hein would not attend the hearing, did not return phone and email messages Wednesday and Thursday from The Associated Press. A recording on Thursday said Hein's voicemail was full and could not accept messages.
"I was trying to protect my assets," she told the commission's housing enforcement director in a Sept. 27 interview."...........That is truly outrageous; "protecting her assets". Now that Jamie Hein has a lawsuit pending against her, I wonder if she feels she did an adequate job of "protecting her assets"?

Maybe next summer, she will post a sign that says "No Hair Products", or the pool standard, "Shower Before Entering Pool".
